Taking one out, Allania quickly chugged it down, feeling her skin harden as she drank. This was the first of the potions she was going to drink today. Hopefully. "Hopefully I won't need any of the health potions I have with you here" she said, scratching behind the ears of Blaze, "make sure to keep me safe now.". These potions did not really taste of anything, they were less tasteless than the water itself. But they did their job, Allania could feel herself increasing in strength. Taking out her dagger she performed a few mock cuts, feeling her arms move faster and with greater strength. Nodding, feeling ready for what lay ahead, Allania called Blaze over and walked towards the door. Placing her hands on the ornate handle, Allania took a deep breath and pushed. It seemed there was just the one room to this dungeon, which Allania felt rather disappointed about. But it was a fancy room. In the centre there was a pedestal, upon which was a gilded sarcophagus. Laying around the edges there was vases and riches beyond count. The walls themselves seemed to be gilded. As she walked in, torches hung on the wall in sconce burst alight, causing the whole room to glow in their warm light. The only thing that did not seem to be gilded in the same gold as the rest was four statues. Four statues in the shape of Jackels. As Allania walked further into the room, Blaze close to her heals, she heard a cracking sound. Allania jerked her head from side to side, her dagger still held up infront of her face, ready to attack. When Allania saw what was moving she could not help but let out a laugh. It was the Jackels. This was such a stereotypical Egyptian style dungeon. The Jackels moved from their own pedestals to block her path to the sarcophagus, bearing their fangs. Not even flinching Allania stood there as the creatures leapt at her, trying to bite down on her, but they could barely touch her, being simply deflected by her armour, its thorns scraping deep groves into the stone hides of the creatures. Not hesitating a moment, Allania swung her blade around in a circle, slicing deep into each Jackels gravelly sides, sliding through with little resistance. These potions are working wonders, she thought. It was to no avail however, as once they felt the tip of Allania's dagger they simply exploded. The guardians of the tomb were now no more than just pixels in the air. When she had landed the final blow, the lights seemed to flicker. The room grew dim and colder. The sarcophagus burst open to reveal a mummified figure wielding dual khopesh. It did not seem happy. She could only stand there and marvel as all of it's health bars appeared and begun to fill. This was clearly going to be a long fight. The creature launched forward from its pedestal, bringing its huge weapons down to the ground with a clash, sparks flying from the place where Allania had once stood. She could not attack yet, she had to regenerate her energy before launching an assault on this behemoth. She had not yet landed a blow on this creature, so she knew this would be a battle of endurance. Backing away, Blaze approached her, nuzzling her foot with its little snout. When it nuzzled her, Allania felt reinvigorated and watched as her health bar replenished. Now at full health, Allania turned back to the creature she was fighting, ready to go. Allania leapt forward, going in for her first attack. Even though she put her whole heart into the attack the creature just stood back and let out a deep rich laugh. She had failed in her first attack, but the creature itself had not yet managed to land a blow upon her. Even if it did eventually land a blow it would be of little consequence, her armour in tandem with the potion from Zandra should more than protect her. Not a scratch on her. The two seemed to be evenly matched, not having landed a blow upon one another. Though Allania thought it was tipped in her favour, she could heal, she had thorns, mitigation and could outdamage the beast. It was only a matter of time. It may not have activated her thorns but the blow did next to nothing to her. Looking down at where she had been struck all Allania saw was a thin red pixelated line. It was just a scratch, nothing more. Laughing, Allania realised just how easy this fight was going to be for her. She did not have to worry in the slightest. If this was all the damage it could deal, then she was just going to have to just sit there and wait. She would no way be able to fell it in a single blow, but every hit that she landed would do many times more damage than it could ever deal to her. Sidestepping one slash before ducking under the next, Allania felt like she was in the Matrix, dodging blow after blow, with little to no repercussions. When she thought about it, they may as well be in the Matrix, but in this world there was no Morpheus to take you out. Not that Allania wanted to leave. Not yet. Allania began to ponder if she would ever get the opportune moment to strike, it seemed not, every time she thought she had a chance to get in there and deal a blow the creature blocked that place with its other blade. It seemed like an impenetrable defence. But one that she would have to come over, if she wanted to be able to leave this room. This time however, instead of blocking with its second weapon, the creature lurched forward, swinging at her with its second weapon. This is it, Allania thought, diving forward, trying to protect herself with her dagger once again, but getting nicked slightly in the process, her thorns returning the damage to the Boss near ten-fold. But that was not where her onslaught would end. The creature had overextended itself and Allania was going to make full use of that. Rushing past the creature, Allania quickly appeared at its back, performing a large slash, digging deep with her dagger. Before the dagger had even finished its full arc, having just left the creatures dried flesh, Allania flung her body round, lashing out with her foot twice dealing another two devastating blows to the creature. Before she could even respond, the Pharaoh lurched round, its khopesh whistling through the air as it slammed into the girls side, sending her sliding across the ground. Falling to one knee to stop herself from keeling over from the force of the blow, Allania laughed. That was quite the hit. I'm almost like Hydra and his one shot wonder move, Allania thought to herself, a smile spreading across her face a she thought of the daydreaming spearman. Her mind still elsewhere, Allania just walked between the blades of the beast, heading to her familiar to give it a small scratch behind the ears. Only when the beast let out a growl of frustration did Allania snap back to the real world, realising that she was meant to be fighting the creature in front of her. Opting instead to bide her time and lash out like she had done previously, dealing large damage in a single blow. Dashing forward, making a feint towards the creature. This took it by surprise, making it twist its body to try and prevent a blow like last time, resulting itself in tumbling to the floor in a pile. She didn't even do anything to try and avoid his great sword as it swung in a large slow arc towards her, laughing all the way as she was shunted to the side. She had not expected to see the creature fall so wonderfully, it made the whole journey into this tomb worth it. Even if she had taken damage as a result. The process to reagaining energy was always a long one, she just had to wait a while longer. He had only managed to land a measly 4 hits on her in the whole fight. She may have landed just the two hits herself, but she had spent almost all of her time waiting for her energy to regenerate. It was quite the dull waiting game to tell you the truth. Another slash whizzed past her, missing her by a fair margin. This fight was just tedious. It was not even amusing this time. Allania let out a sigh, waiting for the Pharaoh to stand back up, waiting for it to attack once again. Her energy still put her below the point at which she was prepared to attack. It would be soon though. Perking up, Allania began to pay much closer attention to the movement of the Pharaoh, looking for her next opening. Striding forward, Allania went in to slash the creature once again. But it had been a trap, as her dagger arced upward, leaving a glowing trail in its path, the creature side stepped it, miraculously recovering its footing and swinging up itself. Allania was not prepared for the blow, and thus took it head on, though as was to be expected by now, the only crunch that could be heard was that of her armour absorbing the blow and then its thorns extending, scraping the arm of the creature that had attacked her.
