Endilix got himself to a better position in the ring, facing The Executioner with his shield and hammer at the ready. "Kid, stay behind me if you want to live," Endilix said simply to the young thief who had only moments ago avoided a death sentence, or so Endilix hoped. And then Endilix turned back to the large beast of a man, and gave a loud roar in challenge. The creature sneered and beat his chest in response, seeming elated by the challenge, and that was exactly what Endilix wanted. Endilix looked over his shoulder to Flints and flashed her his winning smile, and gave her a wink. "Tear it to shreds, sweetheart."

Flints gave a wicked grin when Endilix spoke of her. Without warning she released the thief and shot out from behind Endilix at full speed, smacking into the executioner as hard as she could, snarling loudly when her claws dug into his flesh. it was anything but soft, his muscle gave some resistance but eventually gave way underneath the steel that coated her hands. She began to punch him as hard as possible, her nails raking across his skin and wizzing through the air only to meet the mountain of flesh again. She felt the man shake and attempt to grab hold of the small woman and rip her from him but she was just too quick. She pushed off of him and landed neatly behind him, her grin was wide and showed all of her small, sharp, white teeth. "Come again?"

Flints' eyes drifted to the stands where Antillian sat. He howled somberly and she cursed under her breath. "I'm sorry buddy. Just enjoy the show."

As Endilix readied for an attack from the monstrous Executioner, he braced, but instead heard the booming voice of the announcer throughout the arena. "Well, folks, it appears that we have an additional challenger! Normally, this would result in a disqualification, but why not make things more interesting instead? Give the Executioner another health bar, and let's see them overcome the odds!" The crowd cheered as another HP bar appeared next to the Executioner's head, and the large beastly man gave a guttural laugh as he raised his sword high. He brought it down hard on Endilix, and he had only just managed to get his shield up in time to block the majority of the damage. Endilix watched as his HP bar dropped and didn't even want to think about what kind of damage that blow would have done if he hadn't gotten his shield up. Endilix grunted, and made an effort to swing at the Executioner in return, but the large man simply sidestepped it and laughed once more.

Flints watched as the executioner slammed into Endilix, Flints looked back at the thief, wondering if he was really worth Endilix's life. She sighed and looked away from the little curled up ball of a man who laid behind them. He wore a makeshift cloak that hid his features well. He said nothing. He didn't even thank them for intervening. Flints growled and wanted to kick the man and ask why he wasn't grateful for them risking their lives. But she stopped herself. "Heros don't ask for praise.." She thought to herself. She turned back to the executioner and realized her mistake by joining in. She should have stayed with Antillian in the stands..but could Endilix really do this on his own? She sighed and held herself tall. Throwing her worries to the wind.

"Are you that weak, that they had to give you an extra Hp bar just to handle little 'ol me? I'm honored. But really, some executioner you are. Anyone looks powerful when they are feasting on lvl 1 players." Flints scoffed, egging on the man.

Endilix couldn't help but chuckle at Flints taunts as she goaded on the beastly man. "Hey, aren't I supposed to be the one taunting the enemy?" he called over to her with a smile. The Executioner gave a growl as he swung his sword in an arc, seemingly trying to catch Endilix off guard. It was almost successful, but Endilix managed to take no more than a slice across the chest, as the red pixelated gash drew across him. Endilix gave a cry of shock, but was more prepared to strike back. Endilix's hammer glowed a dark red as he swung the hammer in a wide arc and into the ground, creating a small earthquake at the feet of the Executioner and bringing the large man to his knees. He stared at Endilix incredulously, and Endilix just gave him a grin in return.

Flints watched as the executioner was able to land another good swipe at the red headed man, Endilix's chest was red hot with the branding of the large weapon, before they could part from eachother Flints rounded the two and dug her claws into his arm, using this leverage to pull herself closer to him, digging them into his chest and throat without mercy. She wanted to make this battle quick. It's what she needed. If it continued any longer she would be out of energy soon. That would be bad. "Hold out just a bit longer Endilix..." Flints whispered as she pulled away from the man And watched his health bar drain. "We are so close.."

Endilix took a step back from his attack and Flints dove in to stab at the Executioner repeatedly. The large beastly man gave a wild swat to the woman, but she was too quick as she leaped back to Endilix. Endilix nodded to her, and before the Executioner could make another attack, Endilix was on the offensive once more, smacking the creature hard in the face to match the blows that Flints had already dealt. Though it did significantly less damage, it kept the focus of the giant on Endilix, and that was just what he needed. The Executioner stood up and gave a roar throughout the arena, "I tire of this, you little bugs! DIE!"

Flints watched as the beast of a man swat aimlessly, only to be smacked in the face by Endilix's hammer. The behemoth froze for a second, stunned by Endilix's actions before growling out again. Not really knowing what to do. Flints hissed in response and launched herself at him again, her claws lightly slashing into his skin, tearing it up but only being deep enough to cause him an annoyance. Flints' eyes gazed back to the thief occasionally. He didn't try to run, he didn't even move. The slow rise and fall of his sides was enough to convince her that the curled up ball was still alive but being as slippery as the announcer said he was didn't show in the slightest. Maybe they were doing wrong by saving him. What if he wanted to die? Flints' eyes looked back to the executioner and awaited its next move.

The Executioner gave a roar as its health dropped into the red. They were in the home stretch, but as Endilix looked to his partner's Energy bar, he saw that she was almost out of steam. Endilix cursed under his breath as the raging beast of a man went charging at him, swinging his sword. Endilix managed to side step the blow, but the Executioner pulled his sword up to blindside the armored man, slicing across his arm. Endilix gave a grunt of frustration as the red gash drew across the brown metal plates that comprised his armor, and retaliated by swinging his hammer at the Executioner's arm, landing a blow as the monstrous man reeled backwards to prepare his next attack. Endilix smiled as between his blow and his Thorns buff, he had actually managed to do some damage. Endilix hoped that Flints had enough left in her to finish the job.

Flints watched as the executioner took a quick shot at Endilix, she flinched for the man and tried her best to get a cheap shot in as they were locked in combat, but missed and shouted back at the thief as she slid back behind Endilix, kicking dust up in his direction. her voice dripping with malice as she spoke her reoccurring thought "You better be worth all this." Her eyes looked up to the Executioner as she began to pant from being low on energy. "This isn't good..." She thought to herself. Preparing for the inevitable. If this kept up she wouldn't be of any use to the match. Of any use to the tank.

Endilix and the Executioner were locked in pretty heavy combat at this point, slowly whittling each other down as they each chipped away. Endilix was thankful that Flints had managed to get the beastly man so low, and if his Thorns held out he knew they could win this. Endilix raised his shield to block another blow from the Executioner's jagged sword, and then another, as the giant roared in defiance of his fate. The creature refused to give in, and Endilix was perfectly fine with that as he grinned back at the creature, knowing that they would win now. But Endilix wanted to give Flints time to recover, and so he readied his Sword Art, and slammed his hammer into the ground once again, creating the earthquake that threw the Executioner off balance last time. He was just as unprepared this time, as he fell to one knee and continued to take wild swings at Endilix.

Flints watched the two locked in battle and continued to pant, her breathing labored she could see the world around her pulsing lightly in and out of her vision. She whined quietly and decided to hold back on attacking. She felt dizzy and her skin was crawling. She licked her lips still feeling that heavy wave of heat that never left. This night was strange and was really taking its toll on the woman. She kept telling herself it was probably just the full moon.

"Kill him Endilix. You can do it." Flints slicked her hair back, trying anything she could to cool herself down. Could Endilix really kill him though? she hoped so. She didn't have the strength in her to hurl herself at the beast of a man again. Flints huffed and longed to head home. She longed for a cool bath, anything to escape the feeling that had washed over her.

While the Executioner was still off balance, Endilix took a step back to breathe. He kept his shield at the ready and looked to Flints, "How are you holding up? You look... a bit pale." Endilix was a bit concerned, but had little time to focus on it as the Executioner made his way back to his feet. "Puny boy. You fight well for a gnat. Now it's time to end this," the giant suggested, as he readied his sword once more. Endilix snarled and readied his hammer, shield up to block. "We've almost got this, Kita. Please, be okay," Endilix said as he moved back into combat range.

Flints tried her best not to hyperventilate. The room seemed to shrink before her eyes and the over powering smell of the damp cavren filled her nostrils. She tried her best to shove all the air out to rid of this awful scent that was a constant reminder that they weren't above ground. That they were down below in a hell for weak players. Flints growled and shook her head. Further dizzying herself in the mix. The faint hint of thick, metallic smells smacked her in the face. She felt her face contort in disgust. She looked at the executioner and snarled. There it was. This heat wave against her skin, she grabbed at her hair and pulled, trying to rid of everything and anything that made her warm. She breifly considered stripping down but was awoken from her thoughts by Endilix's voice and the executioners loud thrum. She had almost forgotten he was there; That the beast across from them was their opponent.

"I'll be fine!" Flints croaked. Her voice was dry and sorry. She ran towards the executioner and cursed him as she swiped but missed. "You reek of bile and blood. I'm surprised people pay to watch your sorry excuse for a show."  Flints figured if she couldn't hit him she could at least insult him.

Endilix scowled as the Executioner towered over him once more. The large man raised his sword to strike, but right as he was about to do so, Flints began to call him out, and the giant turned and gave the woman a glare. "You won't be talking so much when I squish you, worm," he said, and seemed to drag his sword towards Flints instead, but Endilix whistled and waved his arms, drawing attention back to him. "Hey, you buffoon, don't get distracted by the pretty lady over there. Your fight is with me." The Executioner growled in response, unsure of which target to hit, and that was fine with Endilix.

Flints closed her eyes tightly and whined. She slowly backed up until she nearly stepped on the curled up thief. She gave a hiss at the ball and raised her claws for a second only to relax again and press her hand to her face. She shook her head, trying to escape the pounding, she looked away from the mess before her and to Antillian who now sat in the stands and paced, trying to find a way to jump down to Flints and Endilix. Slowly her eyes moved back to the now approaching Exicutioner. She didn't flinch or shake she just accepted it coming towards her until Endilix called his attention back over to him.

It was as if the entire arena were at a stalemate. The Executioner seemed to know his fate if he attacked, and so he stood, watching the two who were supposed to be fighting him but were instead simply waiting. As an NPC, there's no way he could have understood that they were waiting for energy regen, but that just made the monstrous man more cautious. Endilix kept his shield at the ready, but nobody moved a muscle. The arena was dead silent, as the entire crowd seemed to hold their breath in anticipation of who would make the first move.

Flints stares off occasionally glancing to the boss. Suddenly she was aloof. Lost amongst the stars of the night. The feeling never really left her. She was still drowning in an odd heat and felt clammy to the touch. But she was trying her best to ignore it. Flints stared at Endilix who wasn't moving either. Actually, no one was moving. It striked her as odd and she wondered if time was standing still for her.

"Why isn't he moving.." She whispered to Endilix. Her words were hardly more than the raspy whisper. Flints body began to shake. This battle needed to be over soon. This always happened. When she was out of energy she started to doubt herself as a player. She was a terrible Dps. No one ever got called a terrible healer, or a terrible tank. But flints was indeed terrible at what she tried her hardest to be. Her mind continued to send her in a downward spiral of self loathing but at the same time she wasn't even in the fight. She was curled up with her husband, asleep. Not feeling sick. Not feeling sorry for herself. Not out of energy. Just asleep. Flints sighed and slicked her hair again, wiping fresh sweat from her brow and hairline.

The Executioner gave a grunt, the silence finally having settled into much for him, before finally deciding to end this pointless stalemate. "I'm not sure what you gnats are doing, but I came here to fight!" he shouted as he thrust his sword at the armored man. Endilix had been waiting for the stalemate to end, but hadn't been expecting it to end so suddenly, and the sword pierced his side. Endilix made a poor attempt to swing back in return, but the blow didn't connect, and he simply grunted at the brute in front of him. The Executioner just sneered. Despite being dangerously in the red, he seemed unafraid of whatever came next.

BD: No attack Passive Regan +2

CD: 12 (Rec +1)

Flints' eyes settled on the gash that was now in Endilix's side. It was deep and glowed bright red. Her eyes widened, not fully understanding what was going on anymore. She couldn't escape her mind. No mater how hard she tried it seemed that she just forgot what she needed to do. Her thoughts of protecting Endilix and the thief were replaced with her trying to remember why she was standing there. Why she was still underground in a smelly little hole for a man she didn't even know. And why she couldn't speak. No matter how hard she tried her words where replaced by her gasping like a fish for air until she realized it was pointless. She didn't need air. Or did she? Her eyes settled on the behemoth as she spoke in a flat tone. "You want to die, don't you..? You realize your job is pointless. Just like this battle. I wish I couldn't have killed you. I wish I could have killed you quickly. But here we are...." Brought back down by her own cold words that she didn't feel she actually spoke she began to come to life again. Flints' eyes met Endilix's back. She stares at him hard trying to figure out if she was panicking or just broken. She wondered if Endilix needed her to attack or not. He would probably finish the beast on his own. He didn't need her anymore.
