OOC: Made this before, but forgot to continue it. We'll take the Mats and split it evenly. Including the extras. Sound fair? @Khrysaor @Hirru :p

Someday, he feels like s-, some days he wants to quit and just be normal for a bit. But not today. Wandering in the woodlands of the 2nd floor, the wanderer is on another quest for more materials. He's always been spending all his time in the 1st floor hunting for materials and that got old of the wanderer. He wanted something new and different. He up a floor to the second floor where it was all woodlands. He had hoped to find more materials here than in the first floor.

As he was scouring the forest, the wanderer hear a loud noise coming from the bushes behind him. He slowly turned around as the noise got louder and louder. Then suddenly, a wolf comes rushing out of the bushes. The wolf jumped on the wanderer hoping to bite, only to be stopped by the wanderer's left arm. The wolf bit and bit as much as he can, but it had seemed that the wanderer's new clothes are too much for said wolf.

The wanderer reaches over to his side and drew Bakuzan from his sheath. He swings his blade in two quick successions, throwing the wolf off his arms.

Khrysaor was up on the second floor, heading into the woods to search for some prey. He had just locked up his store and went out for a hunt because of his need for some material. He wanted a little challenge and change from killing off boars, and decided to search and slahs down another type of monster. As he walked on through the thick forest, he heard some noises coming from his right. 'Hmm, I wonder what that could be, sounds like a fight.' thought Khrysaor. His curiosity was getting the better of him, so he headed in the direction and what looked like someone's arm being chewed on by a wolf. Khrysaor was about to help, when he saw the players sword glow blue, indicating he was activating a sword art and was able to slash the wolf into ribbons. When the player used his sword art, Khrysaor noticed he seemed familiar.

He decided it was his time to jump into the fray. Khrysaor took a running start at the wolf, and used his sword art <<Reaver>>. Slashing vertically, the wolf was knocked to the ground. It seems like his swords bleed and paralyses effect were also activated.

Though it was very rare, the hunter found himself on the second floor of the floating castle, Aincrad.  After filling his schedule with several hunts and quests to come, it was a slight relief to get any leeway in between everything happening in the guild.  Most of the time, the hunter wouldn't even go to guild functions, as he had too much going on to care about the higher floors and the front lines.  People needed help on the lower levels while certain materials could only be farmed on specific floors.  The second floor was home to tree like beings that would come to life, to attack passersby.

It was during this hunt that he heard growls and clashing of steel.  To be fair, his hearing could tell that it was someone fighting against a mob of the area.  Living in the wilderness, one learns the ways of this world.  He thought that he would steel a glance, just in case something bad would happen, then he could come in to help, if it was needed.  From the scenario that he could see, the two seemed to be fighting a wolf so the fight shouldn't take very long.

As a proper hunter, he stood by to let the fight commence as it should.  He would not gain anything from fighting the weaker mobs of this floor, unless a treant appeared.

[Hirru is not considered a member of the party.  Mobs in my posts will be my own.  Mobs in Rain's / Khry's will be their own.]

The wanderer watched as a random player jumps into the fray and slashes the wolf for what looked like minute damage. the wanderer slowly walked towards the wolf. Held in his right hand was Bakuzan. As he got closer to the wolf, he gripped the blade tighter then it began to glow azure. He then quickly dashes at the fallen wolf - which seemed to not be able to move - and swung his blade twice at blinding speed. He then slowly sheathes Bakuzan as the wolf broke into pixels right before him.

Once the wolf's body disappears, the wanderer notices a pool of blood where the wold was. "What did you do exactly to that wolf...?" he asked as he turned around to face the player that joined in. He got a closer look at the stranger, he quickly realizes that he's seen him before. He's not sure from where, but he's, for sure, seen him before.

(OOC: When LD is between 1-10 the monster/animal tries to attack Khrysaor, and when 11-20 it tries to attack Rain)

Khrysaor turned to see how the wolf was doing. It seemed like the paralysis worked like a charm. The other player who he came to help started to descend on the helpless wolf and killed it with his attack, but it was too bad that there was no loot. 'Oh, well next time.' thought Khrysaor. Khrysaor heard the player ask him a question. Khrysaor turned to face the player, and replied, "Oh, not much really it just that my sword has two specific modifications to it. They are status effects, called Bleed and Paralyze. Bleed basically reduces the foes HP for a while and paralyze helps to immobilize the foe, but the problem is it does not last very long. So, its best to finish the monster off quickly. You really look familiar to me but I just can not figure out where I met you. I think... I think it was on the first floor somewhere. Hey, wa..." Khrysaor had to stop talking because he suddenly heard something rushing towards them. He turned around to see two wolves jumping to attack him,  but a moment before they got him, Khrysaor was able to roll away dodging their attack. Khrysaor exclaimed to the other player, "Let's talk in a bit. We have other problems to deal with first." Without waiting for a response, Khrysaor ran towards the pair of wolves and slashed vertically downwards on them, but the wolves jumped over his attack.

Though they don't seem new, the hunter could tell that they had much to learn.  Staying still in the wild would only bring more mobs to you, especially for pack animals like the wolves.  This is why one should always go out in numbers, unless information dictates that someone could venture on their own without danger.  With the way that the world was, it was increasingly apparent of that one fact.  Death came to those that didn't follow that one way road.

Thankfully, it seemed that they would be able to take care of themselves, if only for some time.  The hunter backed away from the area to get a better grip of his surroundings.  Which was around the time that he found that he was surrounded.  With some effort, he was able to get away from the swinging limbs of some living trees, and counter attacked with his own art that hit all of them for a fair amount of damage.  Though, not enough.

The wanderer watched as the familiar stranger jumps again into another fray. This guys seems to like to fight. He slowly draws Bakuzan and let it hung to his side. Then he tightly gripped Bakuzan and an azure glow began to emanate from the blade. Within moments, the wanderer charges in the fray, after the familiar stranger.

The wanderer attacked the nearest wolf. With two quick slices, he cut deep marks into the wolf, but it wasn't enough to pixelate it.

Khrysaor saw the familiar figure slice down one of the wolves. It seemed to have done quite a bit of damage. But in turn it seems to have angered the pair and they set their eyes on the stranger. The wolve pair wove in and out of each other as they ran and rammed their heads into the player. Khrysaor knew he had to try to do something, to distract them, so he went in for the kill. Khrysaor took his sword in two hands and tried to bring it down vertically on one of the wolves. The wolf seemed to sense the incoming attack. It dodged by running in the opposite direction. "Dammit, why do I keep missing at least their attention is back on me." muttered Khrysaor. Khrysaor brought his hand down for the other player to take, and to help him stand up, and said, "Need a hand."

[Sorry about the long wait]

His last art didn't seem to cause them to disengage, or retreat, which is what the hunter wanted.  The little living trees threw out their branches to whip the hunter for all that they were worth, but they could not account for the armor that he was wearing.  The attacks made by the enemy immediately stopped after each attacked only once.  Fury's abilities seemed to be taking effect quite well.  Not only did the thorns destroy the enemy, but the damage was mitigated and healed to nothing more than a slight sting.

With a frown, he seemed to get the short end of the stick.  Only a few <<Sticky Saps>> were dropped.

OOC: Woah... why are you multiply by the wolves? technically each wolf is attacking me individually. Although the MD is the same. -_- I should've lost 2 HP on that one... brought it up with a PST too to make sure.

"When fighting multiple mobs, their damage doesn't stack. each hit gets mitigated(unless specified otherwise like in a quest, event or raid boss). So yes it's 1 dmg each."

The wanderer didn't notice the hand that Khrysaor stuck out. He quickly jumps back up to his feet with a swift kick up and then tightly gripped Bakuzan. He scanned the two wolves decided who to attack. After a few seconds he starts charging right at the wolf who seems to be the healthiest. Then in a flash, the wander's walking behind that said wolf and that said wolf collapses to the ground with two large red cut on it's body.

Khrysaor took notice that Rain did not take his hand, and when he tried to look at him Rain was no there. When he looked back at the wolves he saw Rain cut up one. Khrysaor shrugged, and muttered, "Nice one." Khrysaor noticed that the wolves were circling him hoping to pounce on him, but after a minute of tense silence the wolves acted. Instead, of aiming their attack at him they surprise Khrysaor by going after a unsuspecting Rain. They jumped down on him and bit down on both of Rain's arms. Khrysaor thought this was the perfect distraction he was hoping for and ignited his sword art <<Fell Crescent>> and cut into the torso of both the wolves. 'It's too bad that did not finish off the wolves.' thought Khrysaor. Khrysaor shouted at Rain, "It's your turn you hopefully kill the beasts especially in their weakened state."

With the four done in by his own armor, the hunter had nothing to do except recover his energy for the next wave.  Whenever that was!  As of the moment, his concern was for the adventurers some paces away, as his fight wasn't long, but should have given some indication that another battle had taken place.  Though, if they had gotten into another fight while he was busy, then it wouldn't matter, which seemed to be the case.  As the hunter took a look through the foliage with his Reveal modification, he could see the grass parting from where the bodies should be.  A weird concept to understand, but it was easier than guessing what was happening.

OOC: Sorry for the late reply. I was busy doing stuff.

The last thing rain heard was the start of Khrysaor's "It's your turn..." Fully concentrated on his target, the wanderer tightly held Bakuzan at his side. Then, in a flash, the wanderer runs past the beast and he slowly sheathes his blade. Once the guard hit the opening of the sheathe the wolf cracks then breaks into a multitude of pixels. Now, all that's left is the last lone wolf.

(OOC: Sorry guys, its been a while since I have been on, and I may not come on daily so it may take some time for a while)

Khrysaor ran immediately to the second wolf after Rain cut down the first one. He jumped into the air and brought his sword down on to the wolfs head, and rhen backflipped out of the fight. 'That should have defeated it.' thought Khrysaor. In the end it did not defeat the wolf but it was affected by the bleed status. The wolf attempted to tackle Rain down and succeeded, knocking him backwards. After, the attack the wolf succumbed to the bleed and pixelated out. Khrysaor went around and picked up any loot the two wolfs dropped.

It seemed that the fight was a success, as eight of the would be footprints had disappeared from existence.  This gave the hunter some semblance of relief.  Though, he didn't doubt the strength of these players, they still seemed a ways from their proper leveling area.  Even with perfect equipment, without specific skill ranks, the hunt was always going to be rougher than usual.  It was something that the hunter envied sometimes, as his hunts used to take multiple attacks to quell one enemy.  Now, he was facing groups of them with one or two attacks.  He missed those days, though, as the hunt was still new and exciting.

Keeping his distance, the hunter continued his search for little treants.

The wanderer fell to the ground on his back. That was a really tiring fight. "There must be a faster way to farm Mats... You got any ideas?" The wanderer swings his fingers in the air. He decided to change gear cause these wolves are starting to hurt.

Just right after the wanderer switches gear, two more wolves jump from out of the brush and attacks both adventurers. Unfortunately for the wolves, both Rain and Khrysaor dodged the wolves like they were nothing. The wanderer quickly reacts, grabbing his blade till it glowed azure. With two quick swings, he cuts through the wolf that tried attacking him. Sadly, it wasn't enough to end the wolf's life.

After the fight Khrysaor put his hands on his knees and breathed hard for a while. Slowly, trying to even out his breathing. After, taking a long breath, he decided he wanted to talk to the other player beside him for some time, but was not possible as two more wolves jumped out from the shadows of the forest, and attacked both of them. Khrysaor was able to quicly jump out of the way and rolled to his feet ready for another fight. "Darn it. Where are these beasts popping out from. This is getting too troublesome." muttered Khrysaor. Khrysaor decided to try fighting the wolves in a little different way. He ran up to a tre and jumped into the air, slamming his feet against the tree trunk and back flipped towards the wolves. He brought his sword up and when Khrysaor reached the pair of wolves. He threw his blade straight down onto the pair, but both the wolves were able to dodge to the side, leaving his sword embedded into the ground. As Khrysaor slowly landed beside his sword, he took his sword back into his hands, and got into a ready position.

There didn't seem to be anything else out here, except wolves, but they seemed to leave the hunter alone.  After a while, weaker enemies seemed to steer clear of the stronger players, which made moving through the lower floors easier, but that also brought the attention of stronger mobs that were usually hidden away or in high end areas.  The hunter knew that he wasn't going to get anywhere by just staying in this one area, so he would have to leave these two to their own devices.  Though, something was keeping him there.  Probably an assurance to make sure that they are safe here.  Maybe, but he was never too sure about himself now-a-days.

OOC: Uh... wait.. did you attack with the wolves too? O.o I spawned the wolves... so they attack on my turn... @Khrysaor

The wanderer watched as Khrysaor jumped in the air and up a tree to dodge the wolves' attacks. Thinking it was a good idea he decided to follow suit. As one of the wolves pounced on the wanderer, he quickly dodges by jumping back. Before the second wolf could attack, the wanderer jumps up on the tree. He tightly grips Bakuzan until it glowed azure. He waited for other wolf to attack. Once it jumped up after the wanderer, the wanderer jumped down towards the already pouncing wolf. The was able to sick a claw into the wanderer's leg, however, with two swift slashes, the wanderer cut deep red marks on the wolf.

OOC; @Rain oh yea made a mistake on previous post, but now its fixed. @Hirru you are up.

After, Rain tried to make his attack, Khrysaor went on the offense. Zigzagging his way through the trees he ran at the wolves. Once, he was close to the first one, Khrysaor went in for a horizontal slash but the wolf jumped into the air and effectively dodging the attack. Without stopping and looking back at the wolf in the air, he ran forward towards the second wolf hoping to surprise it with his fast and undeterred movements. But the wolf was not surprised and paid close attention to the attack Khrysaor aimed at it. The wolf was able to sidestep Khrysaor's vertically downward attack. Both the wolf jumped back and away from Khrysaor leading to a face-off between the combatants. Khrysaor was thinking, 'Dang it, this is taking way to long and I am starting to get exhausted with all the running around. This fight is getting to be too troublesome.'
