[PP-F2] «Long Live The Queen» A Bug Problem [Completed]

Recommended Posts

Without hesitation, the wanderer rushed the lizardman. He knew he can't exactly win this bout, but he can atleast try to stall until Macradon can come and save his butt. That being said, the wanderer tightly grips his blade as he's about to go near the lizardman. As he swings his sword, his blade glows azure. Then, within seconds, the wanderer slices 2 large gashes on the lizard. Sadly, it wasn't enough to faze the creature at all.

Reacting to the wanderer, the lizardman swings his aged scimitar, but only to hit nothing but air. The wanderer was too nimble for the creature to even hit.

Whatever Macradon tried to do, the snake people dodged every attack he threw at them, nothing would hit, he couldn't even hit the one Rain was up against. It was like something made him unable to even try to hit the monsters. It was the first fifth floor's dungeon mobs, and they weren't even that strong to begin with. Baffled by all his failed hits, Macradon would try to think out a way to hit them properly instead of the pitiful sight he had been showing Rain. Gritting his teeth, Macradon would grasp his sword hilt and engage upon another attack.

OOC: I legit just realized I'm wasting energy trying to hit it with that sword art. x.x welp...

The wanderer tightly gripped his blade yet again as he danced in circles around the creature. No matter what the creature tried to do, the wanderer always found a way out of the situation. After every escape, the wanderer would find an opening to attack, but his attacks never can cut deep enough. "Damn, this is taking so long. What is Macradon doing?" I thought he could wipe out these guys in a flash." The wanderer kept weaving his way in and out of the lizards attacks. This is gonna be a long fight.

Even though he tried to change tactics on attacking the lizard warrior Rain was up against, he was unable to even get a slight hit at it. Frustrated, Macradon would try to amp his speed, if might've been the clunkynes of his two handed sword in the lair that would pose to be the problem. Macradon would try yet again to close in and attack. With fierce strikes Macradon would miss, and miss and miss. Nothing was able to land, not a single swipe, not a single swing. Even angrier than before, Macradon felt his blood pump and he became enraged of himself, not being able to hit this many times in a row.

The wanderer weaved and twisted dodging all the attacks, until the wanderer made one fatal mistake. His tactic of weaving and dodging then attack attacking during openings can be a double edged sword. As the wanderer found an opening and struck his blow, the lizard took the opportunity to trick the wanderer. As the azure blade struck the creature, the creature swung his blade also cutting through the stomach of the wanderer. Luckily for him, the wound was just shallow.

As Macradon went in for an attack, he was quite angered of his frequent misses and wanted to get a hit in as soon as possible, but either the Cardinal system or his mind was hating him at this moment. His emotions were getting to him, and they were slowly beginning to show. Macradon would make a hurt face, not because of his misses, but because of the deaths he had witnessed. This wasn't just a game, it wasn't something they would respawn off, they were dead, for good. Macradon's mind could not comprehend it and would not let him think straight, missing yet another attack.

OOC: Fixed my Hate. I haven't missed once.

The wanderer kept an eye out on his companion, he had hoped that he could finish this thing already and carry his butt to the end but sadly he was mistaken. Swing after swing, he kept missing everything. The wanderer didn't give up, however, he swung his blade and everytime it landed. I may not have killed it, but with each swing, he was chunking it down slowly. Slowly, but surely.

The hurt face would quickly turn to anger as his furious swings would go throughout the room. He would slash what seemed to be immortal objects like the terrain, even though he targeted the mobs in the room. He still wasn't able to do anything, and it angered him, it made him furious. "Why do these emotions show now? Why now???" he thought for himself as he tried to keep emotions locked away for now, as it wasn't the time for these feelings to appear. Even though he tried to keep his mind in check, he still failed to hit the target.

Yet again, Macradon missed. The wanderer stayed steadfast, however. As the lizard went in to attack, the wanderer followed suit and did the same. Both warriors cut each other just about the same. Unfortunately for both, their armors were too beefy for any visible results. The wanderer's continuous, did however began to show results. Looking at the life bar of the creature, it seems that he's done about 6 total damage. Honestly, that's not bad for someone who's only level 7.

Macradon would calm his mind further as he would stop up and stop his movement for a short while. It seemed like Rain had been accumulating a lot of Hate while Macradon had been getting none, which was now how he would be able to get the hate in. With his <Fighting Spirit>, he would be able to rack in some hate, even though Rain was on such a high number. Macradon had calmed his mind down for now, and would unleash a devastating flurry of attacks on the lizard warriors. 6 furious swipes would clash onto the lizardmen and take them down as Macradon's damage was high enough to dent not only their armor, but also their bodies. His attack would take down the one Rain was fighting, as well as 3 others that got too close. "Finally" he muttered.

The wanderer fell back to the ground on his bum as Macradon cleaved through the creature that he had been face. Expressing a sign of relief, he lets out a satisfied sigh as he slowly fell to his back on the ground. That was by far the longest fight the wanderer has ever endured, and it's finally over. Looking over to his companion, "Finally you hit it. I thought I was gonna die." Somewhat false as the wanderer was just as tanky as the creature, but true, too, since the creature would've lasted longer than the wanderer.

It seemed like all the big lizard warriors were gone, it was probably only the 4 initial heavy hitters that would keep intruders out. Seeing that no other big lizards were left, Macradon would <Charge> and slay 4 of the lesser lizard warriors, only leaving half of the remaining lizards alive. These lizards seemed to be very weak, something Rain would be able to slay with no problem. Macradon would look over at Rain "These ones are weak, I think you can slay them as I do" he said as he would prepare his sword for another attack.

OOC: @Macradon, we only get 4 mats from that batch. We don't get the 100% drop since your HP is super high.

The wanderer watched as the Knight cleaved through all the reptilian warriors that surrounded them, left and right. Not one could stand the cleaving blows of the knight with gigantic sword. The wanderer slowly got up on his two feet as he took to his blade and drew it. He will to contribute to the fight sooner or later. Looking around, however, there didn't seem to be any more nearby. It seems Macradon had wiped out all the remaining in the vicinity. There's no other option let, but to delve deeper into the ruins.

[OOC: @Rain, actually, we get 8 in total from the 4 I killed. The next 4 gave nothing. I rolled 20 on LD, which gives 2 mats per mob, as well as Col]

"Aye" he responded as no mobs were present. He would rush to the nearest corner to see if any passage would lead to another open spot with mobs. He quickly found his way through all the corridors to find a group, nearly as big as the one before. He would <Charge> into the big group of mobs and take them down. With two easy horizontal sweeps, he took out 4 of the remaining lesser creatures. The rest of the pack would come in and strike thrice upon Macradon, one time each. Macradon's armor would quickly activate with its Regen enhancement, as well as his recovery. "Let's finish off the last three and take a short break" he said "I'm almost out of energy".

"Hey! Wait up!" The wanderer watched as he saw macardon slip into the darkness into another corridor. The wanderer stood there dumbfounded. Should he rush in there and follow him? Perhaps, it's better to be careful and wait out macradon's rampage. Whatever the wanderer choose, he had to decide quickly before he looses the knight in the ruins and the wanderer is stuck wandering this hollowed halls for who knows how long. "We go after him, now."

The wanderer rushed around the corner and frantically searched for his companion. After a few minutes, he spots him surrounded by a group of three lizard warriors. On the ground laid four of couple have been also lizard warriors. Honestly, the creatures were already far too gone and pixelated for the wanderer to even make out. He kept his distance as he slowly grew nearer. He didn't want to get in the way of his companion's rampage.

It was only after he had slain the first 4 mobs that he realized Rain wasn't with him. Maybe Macradon had been to excited with this rampage that he forgot he was with someone who wasn't on his level. He would grit his teeth, just as Rain would appear from where Macradon came from. With a relived sigh, Macradon would focus back on the 3 lizard warriors that were left. "I'll take these out and we'll take a short break here. My energy is getting low" he said as he would get into stance. He would go in and cleave two times through the group of lizards, decimating them into pixels and crystals like the rest of their kin. He sighed deeply as the fight was over and would sit down in a legged position, relaxing as he sheathed his sword back on his back. He would open up his inventory and grab a bottle of water, and as he took a sip off it, he looked over at Rain. He would finish his short sip and speak out "Want some?" he asked.

"Uh... n-no thanks." The wanderer frantically decline as his companion tried offering him some water. He had just cleared out seven dungeon mobs like they were nothing. Of course, at his level, they were nothing, but to the wanderer, they were pretty tough to deal with. Walking slowly up to the now resting knight, the wanderer slowly sheathed his blade. "So, the boss is next right?" A rhetorical question really. Of course they had to fight the boss. That's the only way to get out of here, but the wanderer can't stand the silence, nor can he stand not doing anything, but that's all he can do. Nothing. He's still too low of a level to be of use. One day, though, he'll reach the frontlines and storm the boss fights like everyone else. Like... this guy.

Macradon would shrug his shoulders as Rain declined his offer for some fresh cold water. Water would be a perfect supplement when going underground like this, especially underneath a desert. He sighed as he emptied his bottle of water and the bottle would just disperse into crystals as it faded away after its use. He would glance over at Rain as a question was asked towards him "Yeah, the boss is the final thing we have to slay, it wont be too hard to fight, it's just a 5th floor dungeon boss" he said "It wont have any mitigation, but it will still do a bit of damage, though I don't think it can get through my armor" he said and would apply a coat from a vial he had in his inventory over his blade.

"Oh I still have spare Eternal Springs!" As the wanderer watches the knight sigh at the destruction of his water, he quickly remembered he made a special item some time ago which poured out water nonstop until the container broke. Thinking quickly, he flicked his fingers in the air, expertly navigating his HUD and taking out an Eternal Spring, the item he was talking about. "Here, you can have this, since I've made spares. It's uh... It's a special tonic that continuously pours out water until the container breaks - if ever it breaks." That being said, the wanderer casually takes out an Eternal Spring for himself and drunk from it.

"Eternal spring?" he asked as Rain mentioned it, he looked over to see a water bottle handed to him. "Oh, that's fancy" he said and would put it away in his inventory for later use. He would get up and stretch his body and look over at Rain "Should we begin looking for the boss? I think we might be able to find it soon if we begin the search now, and it won't be long before my energy is replenished" he said and would jump a few times to get everything flowing, making sure no armor was stuck somewhere it shouldn't be.
