Unable to make a Status Update

Hi guys.

When I've tried to make a status update, I get taken to my own profile page.
I've tried this in IE11, Chrome, Edge and Opera and Firefox and it does the same each time.
I've also tried deleting the temp internet files and clearing the cache.

EDIT: Just thought I'd add that is when the Status Update box appears for me which it doesn't always.

Any other suggestions at all with this?

I remember seeing someone having this problem before not too long ago. Did you try the create button on the top right corner next to the bell?

Just tried that now and it only lets me create events or topics not Status.

Odd... but the same thing happened to the last person. Maybe the same GM could help. :)

For anyone else who runs into this problem, I used to have this issue too. There's a setting in the 'Edit Profile' section that lets you turn status updates on/off. Flipping that switch worked for me.

All I've been doing is going into the affected profiles and flipping the switch for them :)
