Right in front of the bird now, Daeron slowly extended his arm. Compared to his arm, the talons were sharp and could wrap around Daeron's wrist without problem. "Scorch" Daeron said. "I'm going to call you Scorch" he said watching as the massive bird stepped onto Daeron's arm now. Slowly, the bird crept its way up upon his shoulder. "Now... how are you left without a scratch, while Silverwing looks like he was just in a brawl?" he asked the bird, now petting it. Link to post Share on other sites

Miaki looked at the bird for a moment then suddenly threw the next words out. "Quick! Feed it the food you have so you can complete the quest and make the phoenix yours!" Suddenly, Daeron felt an instant bond between the two. Scorch, The Gilded Phoenix. Daeron had in fact, just finished the quest and was given 400 Col for completion, which he shared with Miaki.
