[PP/F16] Snakes, Why'd it have to be Snakes?!? <<Snake Out of Water>>

Alec watched with a smile as the young woman spotted another group of Gorillas and sprinted off to engage them. She really was excited about all this the large man thought happily to himself with a soft chuckle and a pleased shake of his head as she ran forward. "Here goes." The large man said softly as he jogged forward to catch up as Kit's dagger flashed out slashing I to the leading Gorilla and dripping it's hit points by a descent amount. "Nicely done young lady!" The large man exclaimed happily. "Good job!" The large man announced as he Activated a Sword Art charging up his Forearm Axe and causing it to glow as the energy built before he stepped forward swinging his arm in a wide side armed swing that blurred his movements with its speed as he struck all four Gorillas with three chops a piece like he was cutting down a forest of trees. All four Gorillas turned to focus on the large man with hate and fury in their eyes as the a wide grin spread across the large man's face. "Now it's a party!" The large man called out as he raised his saw bladed shield before him and taunted the Gorillas with a come on motion as he stood ready. The Gorillas charged in hooting and howling as they started flailing and pummeling the large man all connecting with the heavily muscled stationary man. Their attacks were miniscule and after Alec's Battle Healing they left no damage as the large man began swinging his razor sharp saw bladed shield cutting into the the first and third Gorilla open fresh slashed in their large bodies.

Kityuisa ran forward, towards the first gorilla. The one she had attacked prior. Kityuisa slashed again, grinning at the damage she dealt. She dashed backwards, ready for the two of them to finish off these gorillas. Kityuisa grinned at Alec, giving him a thumbs up. "Are you having a lot of fun? I am!" She shifted her feet, ready to continue to fight. Tanine Willowflame was sitting casually nearby. Her tail swishing back and forth. Kityuisa chuckled at her familiar. "Willow makes me laugh. Just look at her, how chill she is." She rolled her eyes before watching for Alec's next attack. His first attack had been successful. Kityuisa couldn't wait to see what else he was doing. Kityuisa grinned. Rooting Alec on. Tanine Willowflame was doing the same, purring and meowing as her eyes watched Alec. All in all, the attitude in the clearing was purely positivism and optimism. Kityuisa continued to give a thumbs up.

Alec smiled again at the young woman's positivity and upbeat nature, it really was infectious. "I'm having a great time!" The heavily muscled man exclaimed with a broad smile. "In fact. I think it's safe to say this is by far the most fun I've had on a quest ever. But." The large man continued. "Fighting the Hard Rock Boar boss on the dungeon Bahr and I found on 21 was a pretty good time." Alec offered as he activated a Sword Art charging up his Forearm Axe and causing it to glow and spark lightning as he swung his arm around and chopped deeply into the leading Gorilla dropping it's health by a good chunk with a grin as lightning coursed from his crescent shaped axe heads into and over the gorilla as it's health dipped into the red. The four Gorillas again hooted and hollered in anger as they again began pummeling the large man causing jus Battle Healing to kicking in and leaving him with not a single scratch as he began swinging his shield in wide looping arcs slashing into the gorilla pack once more as he opened even more cuts in their large bodies which released even more Rd pixels into the air. "You want to see chill?" The large man asked as he cocked his thumb over his shoulder at his own familiar Humphrey, indicating the American black bear cub who was sprawled out his back on the ground spread eagle and appeared to be snoring. "Now THAT'S chill." The large man offered with a wide grin and a deep chuckle.

Kityuisa couldn't help but grin as Alec replied with telling her how much fun he too was having. Kityuisa smiled, "Really? I'm enjoying it too! It makes me want to sing!" At that moment, Kityuisa watched as Alec attacked the gorillas. Kityuisa watched as they attacked him as well. Kityuisa was then adverted over to Humphrey who was sprawled on his back, enjoying the sunlight. Kityuisa couldn't help but laugh at his position. Kityuisa then bantered back, "That is definitely chill!" She then dashed for the first gorilla, once again dealing a considerable amount of damage. If it attacked Alec, his thorns would finish it off. Kityuisa dashed backwards, "Speaking of wanting to sing." She might as well goof around, she supposed. "I'll sing us a song! A theme for us to dance with our blades. Do you know the song i'm on top of the world by imagine dragons?" Kityuisa took a deep breath before beginning to sing. Her voice starting of low and slow before picking up speed and pitch.

A wide grin spears across the large man's face and he began to belt out loudly in his deep baritone rumble.

As the large man finished he burst out laughing. "You should have heard Bahr and I belt it out. He and I make pretty good duet partners." The large man offered as he powered up his Forearm Axe again and swung his arm out wide again and chopping into the second Gorilla this time dropping it's health by a good amount as red pixels fled the open wound. Once more the Gorillas began to pummel and beat upon the large man and his heavy armor causing no damage after his shoulder armor absorbed the blues and his Battle Healing wiped the rest away. Alec took two more swings with his saw bladed shield open more cuts in the two trailing Gorillas. They now had one Gorilla in the red, one Gorilla in the yellow and two Gorillas fast approaching the yellow as well. This fight was quickly approaching the halfway point the large man thought with a smile as he glanced over at the young woman he was partnered up with. She really had proven she could pull her own wright here the large man thought happily.

Kityuisa listened to Alec complete the song, singing the chorus. It boosted Kityuisa's own morale. She now wanted to fight harder than she had been before. Kityuisa grinned, "Yay! I like your voice." Hearing about Alec's and Bahr's adventure, it made Kityuisa wish that she were there. "I wish that I had been there..." Kityuisa stopped talking for a moment. I miss Bahr. Kityuisa watched as Alec chopped at the second gorilla. The first gorilla landing a critical hit on Alec, meaning his thorns would not activate. Kityuisa rolled her eyes, "Of course it chooses now of all days to get a critical!" She let out a soft chuckle before aiming her attack at the second gorilla as well. Her dagger landing an attack as she moved backwards once again. Kityuisa looked at Alec and saw that he was watching her, "W-what?" Why is he staring at me? Kityuisa wasn't entirely sure herself.

"At your shop you made it sound like I'd be dragging you around so I mentally prepared myself to have to watch you extra close and and carry you through these fights. But young lady you've more than pleasantly surprised me by doing a great job and really dishing out that damage." Alec offered as an explanation before activating another Sword Art and chopping into the second Gorilla again dropping it's hit points further. The Gorillas seemed to sense they were loosing and began jumping up and down hooting and hollering as they once more began to flail and bash upon the large heavily muscled Tank and once more the outcome was the same as Alec began to swing his shield around again slicing into the Gorillas and causing the lead Gorilla to explode in a shower of pixels leaving only three.

Kityuisa smiled, "You're doing well as well! I'm proud of you Alec!" She gave him yet another thumbs up, "And sorry for all the thumbs up.. I suppose it is my signature move...." Kityuisa chuckled, scratching her neck before watching him fight. "Yeah.. I guess I don't have that much confidence in my abilities... To tell you the truth.. The reason why I offered myself was because I had next to no potions in stalk. A lot of the potions on the shelves are all simply vanity potions. They have no use to them..." Kityuisa laughed at her own secret, "But no one knows, so 'shhhhh'." She covered her mouth with a finger, a twinkle in her eyes as she revealed it to him. Then she surged forward, launching herself at the gorilla. She swung and swung, dealing more damage. "Your turn!" Kityuisa took a step back so Alec could hit it without the worry of hitting Kityuisa.

"Don't worry young lady. You're secrets safe with me." The large man assured her with a smile and a conspiratorial wink of his eye. "I'll never tell. Even under threat of torture." Alec joked as he activated a Sword Art again causing his crescent shaped axe heads to glow and crackle with lightning infused energy. The large heavily muscled Tank stepped forward and swung his Forearm Axe in a wide arc chopping deeply into the third Gorilla and nearly depleting all it's hit points as the three remaining Gorillas charged forward swinging wildly and bearing upon the large Tank's heavy armor protection to no avail yet again. As the Gorillas backed away the large man swung his shield in three swings slicing into all three remaining Gorillas and causing one to explode into another shower if pixels as now only two remained to face the pair. Alec smiled as the loot window opened once more. "Dang girl!" The large man exclaimed. "We're nearly to 40,000 Col! Not to mention Materials and other loot!" Alec said with a smile.

Kityuisa laughed, not being able to tell if he was serious about the torture part or not. So she just brushed it off as if he had never said it. Kityuisa then watched as he attacked once more. "Oh my god! That's awesome!" She clapped her hands together, happy that they had gathered that much in such a short amount of time. Kityuisa then narrowed her eyes, targeting the Gorilla with the most health left. She ran forwards, her dagger slashing an 'x' shape across his hide. It glowed, just like this attack had previously, and caused pix elated blood to be released as it dug into his fur. Kityuisa smiled giving Alec yet another thumbs up. Her writer seriously wanted her to stop doing this sort of thing. Sitting here writing and face palming as she always gives thumbs ups. "Good job Alec! Let's keep this up! They'll all be dead in no time at all!"

Alec smiled at the young woman's antics with a soft chuckle of amusement. As he activated his Sword Art again causing his Forearm Axe to once more glow as energy grew within the crescent shaped axe heads and lightning began to dance and spark from the blades. The large man swung his crescent shaped axe head out in a wide arc chopping completely through the fourth Gorilla causing it to explode in twin bursts of pixels as he turned his attention to the lone remaining Gorilla that began flailing and bashing itself against the heavily muscled Tank ineffectually. Alec swung his shield up in an upper cut that sliced clean through the lady Gorilla causing it too to explode in another burst of pixels as well. Kityuisa watched as Alec finished off the remaining two of the gorillas. Kityuisa watched with delight as she looked over Alec's shoulder. We got that much col from one gorilla?! Kityuisa felt her eyes widen. "High five!" She held out her hand for Alec to give it a high five.

 

This would be a nice meal break. "Let's hit up that dungeon next. But first, let's take a small food break. I may not be good at making food with stats, in fact i'm rubbish at it. But when it comes to vanity food. I am really the best!" Kityuisa opened her inventory, taking out two perfectly made sandwiches. Her mouth began to water as she handed one to Alec. Then she got out two waters that were stuffed into alchemy bottles. She handed one to Alec. "It's a picnic!" She took a blanket out of her inventory and watched as it floated onto the ground perfectly. She then sat on top of it.

Alec smiled as the young woman got as excited as he had about that lady drop. It really was amazing he thought to himself with a wide smile. "To be honest. I think that's the largest loot drop I've seen from one single monster so far." The heavily muscled man offered with a broad grin for the young woman as she began setting up a picnic for the pair of them. "Thank you." The large man said as Kit removed the items and even set up a blanket in the ground. "You really do come prepared." Alec said in shocked amazement and gratitude as he watched Kit set everything up. As he glanced around the large man spotted a glimmering sparkling orchid looking flower growing nearby. The large man walked over and plucked the flower from the ground before turning to Kit and presenting the young woman the flower. "For ambiance." The heavy muscled man said with a small smile as he sat down. "This looks incredible!"

Kityuisa's eyes widened as Alec brought about a beautiful orchid. She pulled out yet another bottle of water, dumping some of it out, she placed the flower perfectly inside, then she took out a hard surface. She set the plank of wood down, placing the flower vase in the very center. Kityuisa smiled.

"I love it." She began to continue to eat her sandwich, "I like this. I really need to go out more and eat more picnics." She smirked, "Whenever we hang out, we have to make something like this a tradition! Yeah?" She held out her left pink, so Alec could pinky promise with her that they would do this each and every time they hung out. "How does the sandwich taste?" Kityuisa only hoped that Alec liked it. She then pulled out a huge raw salmon and a huge raw tuna. She gave the giant salmon to Humphrey and the salmon to Tanine Willowflame, "Now they can eat too!"

Alec let out a deep low chuckle. "Agreed." The large man swore as he extended out his own pinky linking it with the young woman's giving it a tiny up and down shake as he smiled at her. "It's a deal." Alec said as he bit into the sandwich and chewed his mouthful. "This is really amazing!" The large man said as glanced from his sandwich to his companion and back and forth. Alec watched as the young woman pulled out a pair of large fishes and handed one to her cat and the other to Humphrey who let out a surprised pleased growl of happiness which caused Alec to chuckle. "I think you just made a best friend and some just jumped to the top of Humphrey's favorite people list." The large man stated as he watched the bear cub happily tear into the salmon devouring the fish quickly and happily before growling happily again and flashing a huge bear grin at the young woman.

Kityuisa gave a smile as the two pinky promised to making picnics like this a tradition, "It's a deal then!" She repeated what Alec said. Kityuisa then finished her own sandwich watching in comparison to Humphrey, Willow was gently eating her tuna. Kityuisa turned to Humphrey, "Looks like someone enjoyed his lunch!" She held out her arms so the bear cub could go up to her. Nodding her head to let him know he could head over to her. "Come on Humphrey!" If Humphrey listened to her and walked over to her, she would grasp him up in a very gentle hug before setting him on her lap and petting his fur. "I love bears. They are so cute!" She felt her smile growing wider and wider as her eyes continued to sparkle. Humphrey is the cutest bear i've ever seen! Even his reaction to being able to eat the food I gave him! Kityuisa smiled, "I get the fish from the best of the best!"

Alec chuckled as the bear cub quickly got up and crashed over to the young woman flipping down on her lap and spreading out allowing her to put his thick soft fur as he growled happily. As Alec finished his sandwich he stood up. "I hate to spoil this relaxing party but who's ready to check out this dungeon?" The large man asked excitedly as he helped clean up the picnic and led the way deeper into the forest till they finally came upon a stone structure thst appeared to resemble an ancient Myan or Indian temple as Alec led the way inside the group entered a large open room. As they entered the large open room they were presented with four giant hulking Gorillas even larger than the ones outside. Alec shot a smile to Kit. "Well kid. No let's see what you're made of." The large man said as he moved forward powering up his Forearm Axe and swinging his arm wide in a blurry as it chopped repeatedly into several of the Gorillas before Alec stumbled and fell falling flat on the ground ad the four Gorillas pounced upon the prone man and began stomping and slamming his prone form into the ground as he fought back.

Kityuisa nodded her head, helping clean up. She began to follow Alec, while holding Humphrey just as if he was as light as Tanine Willowflame. She continued to pet him until they spotted the dungeon. She set Humphrey down, but right before they were about to enter, Kityuisa looked Alec dead in the eyes, with the most serious voice ever she spoke. "Be gentle, it's my first time."

Kityuisa gritted her teeth, knowing her energy might hold up.. But at the same time it might not... Kityuisa never the less narrowed her eyes as they were facing the gorillas. They seemed slightly stronger than the ones they had been attacking before... Kityuisa nevertheless charged up her dagger, running forward and slicing at the first gorilla. Dumb choice, Kityuisa.. You just got a crit, and this one will now have its focus on you. Kityuisa swallowed with a huge gulp. She was nervous, but if it meant Alec wouldn't take as much damage as he was, everything would be okay, If only I were stronger...

As the group entered the temple the large heavily muscled Tank spluttered and choked on the young woman words. "Be gentle? First time? Energy might or might not hold up?" Alec did his best to keep the noises silent not having any idea if the young knew exactly what had just come out of her mouth. She seemed innocent enough but then again maybe she wasn't. The large man thought as he watched her dash forward and attack one of Gorillas he had less Hate on. "Whoah, whoah, whoah!" The large man exclaimed loudly. "Slow down Kit. We just entered the big leagues and now us when I need you focused the most." The large man warned. "These things could put the hurt on you." The large man warned as he clambered to his feet trying to activate a Sword Art and failing as he stumbled while trying to stand up falling over again flat on his back. Once more the Gorillas pounced on his prone form slamming and bashing his body into the floor with reckless abandon. Thankfully Alec felt the warm Healing energies from Humphrey flow through him lessening his level of damage somewhat. This was going to be a tough fight the muscular Tank thought yo himself.

Kityuisa nodded her head as Alec told her to slow down. "I really ought to focus, yeah.." She mumbled quietly before dashing for the second gorilla. One that Alec had more hate on. I have so much to live for.. Kityuisa slashed and slashed. Happy to be of some sort of use to Alec. Kityuisa then went back to Alec's side. "We got this. Even if it will be tough, we've got this! We can do this if we stick together and work together!" Kityuisa nodded her head before giving Alec and thumbs up, "Keep his blood pumping, Humphrey! Willow! Stay back behind Humphrey so you don't get hurt!" Kityuisa smiled lightly. The last thing she was wanting was harm to come to her cat, Tanine Willowflame.

This dungeon may be really tough, but we've got this. Let's just work together. Slay these monsters, regain some energy and then fight the boss. She nodded her head as the plan emulated in her brain.
