Watching someone else take hits, even if their health was unaffected, still caught her breath in her throat. She was equally concerned when individuals failed in dramatic fashion, making them vulnerable to aforementioned hits. True to form, the woman winced as Bahr mowed the grass with his face. She closed the distance between them in three long strides. "Are you okay?" She began to ask, but as she drew closer, humor slipped into the final word. The smile bloomed across her face before she could stop it. The look on his face, smudged with dirt and grass. And was that mud in his teeth? "I adore you," she murmured through bubbling laughter. She pressed a hand to his cheek, swiping at a chunk of grime with her thumb. Still chuckling to herself, she drew away to charge the natural nemesis one more time. Scarecrow's Twin gouged another chunk out of the King's trunk, and Lessa's arms throbbed with the impact. The monster's health was only a crimson sliver now. He's almost done, she thought. He wasn't the sort to enjoy being infantilized, but as her soft palm met with his cheek, he instinctively leaned into it. The clean spot that trailed her finger would reveal a tinge of red, much to Bahr's chagrin. Jesus, what was he doing? Getting sappy in the middle of a fight? Luckily, she turned and bounded toward their shared enemy, giving Bahr a moment to collect himself and carefully rise to his feet. But the time he had, the battle was essentially over. The dejected dying dew-collector stood in a decentralized daze, the demented defoliation delivered by these demonic dwarfs proving to be quite daunting indeed. Not wanting to completely disappoint, Bahr dashed forward and dug Dawn's Demise into the debilitated bark of the desperate creature. Then again. Then once more. Seven times, in total. It eventually burst into a dazzling array of delectable glimmering fractals, prompting Bahr to sheath his blade and rub the back of his head. "Might have been a little overkill."
