[PP-F8] 8th Floor Scouting

Haine stopped in her tracks when she had seen this new person. So many unfamiliar faces she had seen todays.. "Hiya! It is nice to meet you Shanok," she would say in a smooth and friendly tone before walking on, not wasting another moment by staying in the very same location.. this little torch was unbelievably bright, and thank god she had some more in her inventory.

I spin around, scared by another entrance of a player."Shanok!" I yell happily and give him a quick hug, it being a while since I saw him."Its been a while. The last time I saw you was we were being chased out of a barn by a crazed farmer with a crossbow."

"Nice to meet you too Haine" Shanok told the girl he just met. "That was an awesome quests Clarence, and you ended up carrying the cake!" He added as he laughed. "So, in which direction are we heading now?" he asked.

[Miaki 0]

Miaki was leading their unorganized ranks through the labyrinth with Haine close by lighting things up with her torch. He heard Shanok and Clarence talking to each other and getting caught up when Shanok asked which direction they were going exactly. "Simply put? Up." He pointed up with his finger.

After a couple of hours they had made quite a bit of progress and fought a few small skirmishes with no problem to them at all. "Surely the boss room would be around here somewhere. Right guys?" Miaki asked, slightly annoyed that they hadn't found anything useful.

(OOC: ROLLED 20 ON LOOT DICE. BOSS ROOM FOUND)

Miaki rounded a bend and saw a large dark green ornament door in front of them. "Uhhh guys...... I think we found the boss room."

[Haine 0]

Haine simply walked on her path, carefully holding the light torch in her hand. But as they got closer, the light started to get a bit brighter, to the point where a torch wasn't exactly necessary. Her curiosity would linger on as she spotted a strange green door.. She would only wonder what was past it. "Uhhh guys...... I think we found the boss room," she heard Miaki say. What kind of monster would she see..?

[Clarence 0]

I follow the group, hoping to find the boss room soon. I stop and notice everyone else in-front of me stop in their tracks."Uhhh guys...... I think we found the boss room." I heard Miaki said as we approached the strange door."I wonder what kind of boss it is." I mumble.

[Shanok 0]

"Should we open it?" he asked his friends. "Now that we know the way, knowing what the boss looks like and his number of HP is usefull info" he added while opening his inventory and taking out a teleport crystal.

[Miaki 0]

Miaki stared at the door contemplating his options. He was a little nervous because of the last fight which was rather unexpected and they were the scouting party. "Well I suppose we'll open it... But let's not rush things yet. I don't want anyone getting hurt in here. We're not here to kill the boss. Just to find out about what lies behind door number one." He leaned against the door leading to the boss room. "We have to play things carefully. Everyone be ready to teleport back to Florenthia Village. Remember. No fighting. We collect everything we can then we get the frag out." He looked everyone in the eye and waited. "Understand?"

She nodded seriously. "Got it!" she exclaimed before waiting for him to open the door. Everyone seemed like they had the orders understood.. so they were all set to go in and gather as much as data as they could without fighting..

[Shanok 0]

"Ok, our goal is, one, get the boss' number of health bars, two, get info on it's weapons, three, get the hell out of there as soon as possible" Shanok told his friends, explaining his plan in details.

[Clarence 0]

"Agree with Shanok on this one." I say. I open my inventory and quickly pull out a <>. I ready it in my hand."Yal ready for this" I say, getting a dagger out in my other hand

[Ruri 0]

She saw a group going into the boss room. She ran after them. She then raised her hand and hugged Haine. "Hi Haine!" She smiled at her friend as she had gotten to the boss room. "So, where do you think this doors gonna lead us to?" She asked the small group that was going to enter the boss room. She imagined the crazy possibilities that could be in the boss room. A smile arose from her face. Now she wanted to join the group, join the adventures hunt. She looked at Haine. "So introductions?" She asked her as she looked around at the 2 new characters. "And Miaki, nice to see you again!" She smiled toward the brown cloaked man with a dark brown fedora.

Shanok looked at Ruri, "I'm Shanok, nice to meet you" he said the girl that had just arrived. "Back to the topic" he added as he began to push the door open. "Ready your weapons, he might try to attack us" he told his friends. "Also remember the plan, check the HP bars, the weapons, then we get out of there." Miaki pushed the left door open, while Shanok pushed the right one.

The Boss Room was dark, poorly lit, the only sources of light seeming to come from luminescent moss and mushrooms that dot the overgrown room. Much like Floor 8, this particular room appeared overrun with various types of wild flora, their roots having burst and cracked through the stone floor in several areas. In what would roughly be considered four corners of the circular room, large <> twice the height of a player belch noxious spores into the air, turning the faint lit room a sickly green color with a thick soupy cloud of poison.

And there, in the center of the room, the largest of the overgrown plants, an enormous bulb with writhing tentacle like vines. Inside, something can be seen squirming, as though this is merely a larval stage for something greater. With a hissing sigh like air through naked bones, the huge bulb opens like a flower, revealing a large yawning mouth like cavity completely with massive thorn like teeth as an unearthly shrieking fills the room. Next to the the giant plant behemoth a name and multiple health bars manifest in a blink as thorn studded tentacles writhe, as though trying to reach the group of players gathered outside the door.

Miaki nodded as he positioned himself on the door opposite to Shanok. "Here we go! One, two, THREE! Puuush!" Miaki pressed hard against the door and soon as it was open he took two steps in and drew his katana in a flash of light. "Alright team. Move! Move! Move! Spread out and don't engage!" Miaki rushed around to the left and took in everything he could. The high ceiling and walls were all covered in various types of flora and luminescent shrooms scattered about providing light to the room.

"Okay, first the HP." He looked up and focused on the moving plant as it shifted, perhaps sensing a new presence. The name read <> and the health bars appeared. "128 HP. Got it! Next. Forms of attack." Miaki scanned the room and saw massive pots with green fumes rising from them. "Careful! Those urns are poison! Don't get too close!"

The Guardian swung to vines down at Miaki which he just barely dodged into with an aerobatic cartwheel. "It uses vines! Watch out!"

After circumventing the room twice Miaki collected all the information he could then held his crystal high and shouted. "RETREAT NOW!!" Watching and confirming that everyone had vanished he shouted the command. "Florenthia Village!" And with that he himself vanished from the room returning it to complete silence.
