Kiluia and Haine had made such a good haul the other day, they planned out another haul for today. The guild was going to be filled to the brim with treasure when these two were done. His goal was ultimately to bring recognition to their guild and to make them one of the most top and outstanding guilds around. The teleport crystal put them in the middle of town but on the edge where they were close to the colony of goblins they attacked last time. He was sure that they would of put a new patrol. This time they would have time to fight more of them. “Did you want to eat or just flat out fight first?” He glanced over at his beloved before looking at their two familiars. They were excited. Perhaps the last time woke them up into doing more with their masters. They were literally and figuratively rolling in sweet cash (or at least that's the dramatic montage she pictured in her head, as they made their triumphant march to Simmone's shop). The giddy bluenette nudged Kiluia to the counter, gesturing for him to reveal the loot. He laid a mass of it down on the table, and with that, the guild profited. Why hadn't they done this sooner? The woman mused. Today was a new day, a monotonous one that the couple put to use. Grind attempt number two, here they go! Haine was not fond of the gloomy cavern but she mustered her courage and thought of the end goal on the trek to the hunting ground. Sure enough they arrived. He had heard an infestation of goblins taking up residency close to their starting point. They would do more damage today than they did last time. Eyes of amber would survey the area as he spoke to her. “ Glad we got the house upgraded so we get more things today.” He would look at her with a smile on his face. He was hoping to build their house to a dream house. The cooler climate allowed the two familiars to travel freely. They wouldn’t make the same mistake of jumping into random hot ass water. Noises filled the area around him. He soon noticed the goblin patrol. This was prime time as they were separating their group up to check faster around their targeted area. The breeze was gentle against her skin, forgiving in comparison to the magma scape they had faced the last time. Their familiars wobbled about all jubilant in the tolerable weather. This time, there would be no hot spring to scald their fur off. She chuckled a little at the memory and bit into her jerky, munching idly as they traversed the path. "Yeah, we did better than I thought we would. Why didn't we do this sooner?" she thought aloud, then scared the rest of the meal down. She sighed in satisfaction and washed the remnants of it down with some water. Along the path they'd encountered a dispersing goblin patrol. It was prime time to come in for the kill. "Alright, I'm up." She stalked forward and prepped the glaive to strike. Just as the foe whipped around, she drove the weapon straight through the monster's skull. She scrunched her nose and pulled out the blade. Little droplets of pixelated blood spewed at her. "Yuck!" She stepped back and clutched her shirt. She was this amazon beauty with this large spear slinking around in an actual sneaky manner. His grin was replaced with a grimace. The spear slashed deep within the goblin and was violated in a way that would provide nightmares to anyone who went against Haine. He took off after Haine and gave her a quick kiss on the lips. He left a shadow image of himself in front of her and the, now, real Kiluia was in front of the goblin. Hand pulled back as he was mere inches in front of the ugly goblins face. His hand rotated into an under swing straight into an uppercut into the goblin’s chin. The goblin went pop. She hummed into the quick kiss and backed away to have a clear view of the field. A bit of the goblin's gack slid off the spear. She clasped a hand over her mouth as she stared, enthralled as he popped the goblin's head off. She was more focused on him in his element to pay much heed to the goblin herself, gushing at his attractiveness. Then, she noticed the head rolling off on the floor. "Ew." She skirted around the crystalizing body on the ground, rounding the corner to find another with its back faced to her. It was like a hit and run, a stabby spree. She raced inward and used the momentum to drive the spear into the goblin's spine, the thing all but skewering through. She grinned, satisfied at the sneak attack. She withdrew the spear and stabbed the ground. With his speed, the force of the attack would be met in quite a serious impact. The developers of the game produced the dynamics of speed in this reality just like the real world. His speed and her prowess spelled death for a variety of monsters. They were indeed the perfect couple in his eyes when it came to this type of style. Their bodies matched each other in tempo. When she impaled the next goblin, he watched the goblin stumble back a bit trying to regain their wits about them. It was in despair and did not have any time to recover as he pulled back his fist to slam it in the right corner of the Goblins jaw. It severed the jaw from its face while flying back ward into a heaping mess. The crystals shattered and he would reach over gathering their loot that was left behind from the Goblin.(allmight -14 En) Eyes would look around as he pointed at the next goblin. This one just witnessed its brethren being killed and came charging. Little did it know that its entire gang would be dust by the end of the day. Haine smirked and gave the foe a come hither. It attempted to confuse her with its zig zag movements, lugging its powerful club along with it. The poor sod had not a chance in hell as it swung, spikes hitting the soil and being stuck on it. Fool, Haine thought, watching the foe too preoccupied with pulling the weapon. She poked fun at it - No, literally. She drove the spear through its rump and snorted as it sprung forward. "Where ya' goin?" she jested, maneuvering in front of the foe. It had abandoned its club in the dirt and instead lunged at her with sheer force. "Too slow!" She side stepped and beckoned for Kil. "C'mon, finish him now!" Her eyes lit up with a bit of blood lust. Legs burned as he took off running at the goblin. The goblin was already heavily damaged after being punctured by Haine’s spear. It was not prepared for the sheer velocity and force of his right first drilling it in the right side of its temple causing it to flip several times into the air and into the cavern wall. The impact cause the shaking of the wall and an indent to appear before the shattering of the crystals. He dusted off his body and headed over to the creature to collect their earnings. “Damn.. we are going to have a huge haul..” He stated as he started placing all of their gear and earnings away. (All Might- 14 EN) At this rate, the two could maybe have a summer home on a lake somewhere she could fish all day. Eyes turned slowly to the rest of the goblin party. The prospect of fortune got to her head yet again and her mind wandered to their home, imagining what it would look with all its bells and whistles. "We'll be rollin' in gold in no time," she commented, with a pat on his shoulder. "Ready to get rich?" Their little conversation was cut short by yet another goblin. She leaned back and cracked her neck. "Hmm, again?" Her tone was sing-song as she turned around. She let it come closer and cringed back as it lunged forward. The thing missed her and fell to the ground. "Whoa, down boy!" She whistled and spun the glaive, thrusting it into the goblin's shoulder. She was feeling good and energized, albeit the fatigue was slowly creepin' on her. She could go a little while longer without any qualms. He watched as the goblin interrupted them and was immediately smashed by Haine. Her spear impaled the shoulder of the Goblin causing it to scream in agony. Not wanting to keep hearing the screaming, Kiluia brushed passed his beloved as the spear was still in its shoulder. With that moment, he cracked it with a straight right to its face, it was a simple yet powerful maneuver. The thing slumped still attached and shattered into crystals. He soon picked up all of the goods that were left behind from the creature.(allmight -14 En) He didn’t notice it at first but it seemed the Goblin was holding a rope. A rope? What was it holding onto at the end of the rope? He looked and followed it and watched as a relatively large 8 legged spider came forth. Was it a spider? It was shaped with a spider body but it looked different. Picture a spider and a crab had a baby. She felt her stomach somersault as she stood there, the weight of her spear suddenly too heavy to hold. The weapon clattered to the ground and she shrieked. "S-S-S.... What?" The terrifying arachnid, some grotesque morph between a spider and a crab, came crawling her way. She felt nauseous hearing the sound of it skittering by, its long limbs scooping the dust as it traversed. "Kil I-" she gulped, shooting him a frantic look. "I can't do this I-" the creature was inching dangerously close. Her adrenaline guided her then. She swiftly grabbed the glaive and shrieked in disgust, jabbing the spear forward in defense. Her long blade had skewered its abdomen, holding the creature up as it squirmed. She kept holding it up like that in fear of it crushing her. The bluenette's breath heaved. "EEEH! GET IT OFF!" He had forgotten that there were spiders on this floor and to see one this close. Well, it wasn’t fun. When Haine screamed, he snapped back to reality and took off in the next instant. Body flew passed his beloved and pushed the spider off of her spear with his shoulder. His foot raised kicking the thorax of the creature launching it upward at an angle. His left hand reached to grab the body and his right hand was cocked back like a gun. Next instant, bang. His hand reached full force and pushed a hole straight into the chest of the spider.(allmight -14 En) Her reaction was what it took for him to snap back. He landed on his feet and the spider disappeared into crystals. A slight sigh was heard as he looked over at her. “I’m almost spent..” He looked at her with a faint smile before pointing at the goblin approaching. It wasn’t sure it should go for it or run away screaming. She all but forgot this floor housed any of those types of things, she was gravely afraid of them. She was afraid of them in their tiniest form, even when they'd rest in corners all innocuous. She didn't care regardless. Once she spotted one, she would be out the room screaming. Now in its gargantuan size, Haine did not know how to process it. Kiluia had rushed in to save the day, she owed him one for she would've been a dead pancake on the floor. She slapped a hand over her forehead and clutched it dramatically. She could feel the fatigue kicking in even then, her vision blurry. She shook her head and willed herself to be proactive, she still had some pep in her to go. Luckily enough, the next foe in her wake was yet another goblin. She could handle those puny things, they didn't hold a candle to what she had just faced. She pushed forward and sunk the glaive into the creature's chest. Their movements were not sloppy but not as good as before as the goblin tried to run away. However, Haine managed to stop it from gathering reinforcements by lunging the spear into the goblin. He ran toward the goblin and cracked it from behind in its skull with a sick thud. The fist had already been connected without being cocked back. It was already too late for it as he struck hard. (All Might-14) A light sigh was given as he sat down on the ground collecting the items that it dropped and the col being tucked away in his inventory. Amber eyes looked up at his beloved and he tilted his head. “And I am spent..” He whispered as he laid back on the ground staring at the top of the cavern. He was too tired to move. Haine flopped back on the cool ground along with him, her vision reeling. All of the pivots and lunges were making her head spin. Combat required her eyes to dart all over the place, it got sickening after a while of it. "Ahh, the floor is nice and cold." She rolled over onto her side and rested her head on her lover's chest. "Ugh I don't feel so good." She sighed into his chest and rested her arm over him. She was quite smothering then but she did not seem to care, more focused on cooling down. "Eeeh. Want water?" It was a rhetorical question. She pushed herself back up to sit and removed two bottles of the ice cold elixir. She downed the whole thing at an alarming speed and handed Kiluia the other bottle. He was tired for the time being but knew that the upgrades they had would quick in faster than before. He nodded as he watched her drink. “Yeah I would love some water.” He smiled slightly before taking it and drinking his portion. “This works out well for us and for the guild.” Since they were both captains in the respective divisions, they would be easily helping out their subordinates and the such. Arm wrapped around her and he kissed her head. He loved the smell of her since it was the closest thing to reality he had. He could never guess her shampoo correctly. Weird. He was pretty good with smells though. Fingers danced against the top of her hand as he looked at her. “This may suck but the grind for all these items is pretty good. We can actually make some sort of difference.” He meant that. Death would only be an illusion if they kept up this pace. Link to post Share on other sites

"Yeah, we're doing a lot better than I thought we would," she commented, folding her knees to her chest. With all the loot flowing in, Haine envisioned the guild growing to be glorious. They were growing exponentially in such short time since their return, new recruits were flooding in. She hoped she could help this way, she wasn't used to being in charge of divisions or any position of leadership. She preferred this much more to the former, it gave her more confidence that was was performing well. She leaned into his embrace and rested her head against him. His fingers in her hair felt soothing as she closed her eyes and hummed. Her mind wandered. "Hey love?" She turned to look up at him. "What would your dream house look like?" He could list off a variety of great amenities like a pool or a mancave. “My dream house is anywhere with you.” Was it cheesy? No. There was love behind those words but without a world with her would be nothing to him. “Living anywhere with you is what makes a home and what makes my life worth while to live. It may seem like a weird thing to say but if you think about it, you bring me happiness. I wouldn’t want to abandon that feeling. What about you?” He looked at her before giving her a peck on the lips. He stood up slowly and smiled pulling her close to his chest. It was time for them to get their butts back in gear. A search party had split up themselves to find out what happened to their companions. “This is like a bad horror movie for goblins. She folded her hands in her lap, a soft smile gracing her lips. She could sense he was telling the truth with his casual, matter-of-fact composure. "Ahh, you're doing it again!" She giggled softly. "You're making me blush." She put a hand to her cheek and felt it a little hot. "Of course I feel the same, you're my player two," she added, with a bop to his nose. She melted into his arms for a moment and they rest that way for a little while. Once their health was restored, it was time to get a move on. She pushed herself off the ground and dusted her garb. She fixed her attention to the lone goblin, its back turned towards her. She slinked forward, it was the perfect opportunity to strike. "Alright, let's plough through this pack now." She lunged forward and stabbed the goblin's side. It let out a pathetic shriek.
