However, his focus was still on the boss. He pulled his one leg back and propelled himself right to it, holding his blade to his lower right with both hands. While using his strongest sword art once more, a red glow covered his blade and small shards of ice began to come out of it. The bluehead ended up right next to the boss, slashing through its side. While the cut was deep, what mattered most was the ice completely encasing the monster, for as massive as it was, while some of the ice shards flung at it opened up tiny holes where it bled from. Alongside the slowly dissipating blight, they had a lot of damage going to this poor fish. He returned back to Alkor's side, holding his sword on his shoulder and letting out a satisfied sigh. If it was meant to be some kind of challenge, they had already blown through the hard part. Alkor smiled brightly as ChaseR placed another Damage over Time affliction on the creature to overwrite the Blight that was about to run out. A steady damage output was key to winning battles, so anything that supplemented it was a boon. He shifted his gaze to the beast as it reeled from Chase's strike, and as he wasn't one to slow down once he got to tempo, Alkor followed through immediately. He raced underneath the bluenette as he backed off from the enemy and seized his chance to catch the massive King of Lakes off guard. As luck would have it, the creature was iced over from the effects of Chase's attack, so Alkor had no problem delivering another, decisive attack on top of the previous. With this kind of onslaught, there was no enemy in Aincrad that could put a stop to the duo. Or at least, no basic Field Boss they had encountered so far. He wasn't that cocky. He began to run right towards the fish, slashing diagonally at it and dragging his blade through its skin all the way to the back. Once that was done, he took a leap to punch holes in the fish' backside using his sword, and then brought it all the way back down, leaving multiple gashes and punctures on the massive lungfish. "Looks like we're done here.", he said just when it looked like his combo still had room to let him keep going, walking backwards and watching the fish explode into plentiful of blue shards. He let out a sigh and ran a hand through his wet hair, scratching the back of his head and just shrugging as he turned over to Alkor. "That's enough fishing for a day, I believe."
