[PP - F1] Lost and Found - Finding Oni's "Katana"

It was only a matter of time before she would hear their responses about her life she did hear Recon mention about him missing out on his high school part of his life. It wasn't like he'll miss out on it but he'll experience it little late. Eitheral then figured out something with her. She's going to be little behind with her education as well. She was suppose to be in college right now studying Neuroscience but instead she's trapped in a death game not knowing if she's able to get out. But it didn't stop her from wanting to complete the game and finally reach back to the real world. Matter of fact once she did make it back it would probably be rough. But not just her. All the survivors will have a hard time. 

With the smell getting stronger, she can't imagine what's lies in front of them. "You guys don't smell that?" she said to them as they walk even closer. With no doubt knowing how things work out she's probably going to be upset on how these boys are going to treat her.

Oni stuck his hands forcefully in his pockets. He skulked his way further down the passage, barely having to duck the pipes as they walked. "Hate to break it to you, but I think this is about as pleasant as things are going to smell for some time. Might have to get used to it." He was certain his tone would broadcast as rude and dismissive, but he was resisting the urge to openl mock her. She had, after all, made an attempt to get him up and out of the sewer before. He had not forgotten that.

Even if she was being a busybody before that...

He kept these thoughts to himself, though. Despite his demeanor of general anger towards his surroundings, he was not ungrateful to Etherial. That did not, however, mean he had to like her. "For now, keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary - anything that could be the entrance to a passage or a hatch up to the surface," he paused for a moment before adding, "...or a container of any sort. No harm in looking out for loot. Not super likely, but you never know." He scanned the path ahead, but for the most part he saw nothing but more pipes and the occasional lump of something he didn't much want to investigate in the mire of waste beside them.

Unlike those two Recon had his mouth and nose covered from his neck warmer for once his neck warmer is useful outside of keeping his neck warm. The smell was still there though the neck warmer never blocked out all of the smell it made it slightly tolerable. "Yes, I smell that but ignore it best you can do is think of something else," Recon responded it seems like they are coming up to the main area of the sewer judging by the smell but that was just a guess on his part. "For now, keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary - anything that could be the entrance to a passage or a hatch up to the surface,"  He mumbled "Alright noted" then Recon heard Oni mention looking out for a container for loot or something of that sort. "Sure I'll try to keep an eye out for that." It's not like he had to keep a lookout for two things already like those pipes sticking out or finding an exit.

She wasn't very happy with what Recon said about the smell. Obviously she knew that it wont get any better but if they keep heading toward the smell it wont end well with them if that was a dead end. But without a doubt while the two kept walking she stopped real quick to wipe the sewage off her feet a little as it was getting caked on the bottom of it. With that though she press her hand against the wall that eventually pressed inwards. With no pause afterwards a secret door opened up that seem to lead upwards. With the shaking floor as the door open she regain her balanced and looked up at the two boys. With no words to describe with what she sees she kind of gives them a wave to head back over here. If they decided not to she wouldn't be upset. This might be a way out... Or at least a way out of the degusting sewage that they've been walking in for some time.

If only metaphorically, there came a breath of fresh air as Etherial discovered a hidden entrance to a new passage. There was no indicator that it would lead them to the surface just yet, but it led away from the river of sewage beside the, and that was enough for now. "Hell yeah," he whooped, and rushed into the new passage eagerly. With redoubled energy, he continued the quest for an exit, climbing up a grimy set of stone stairs to a landing that leveled off into a narrow hallway. For the moment, there was no sign of an exit, just more tunnel, but the air was already fresher here.

"That's way better! Lucky find there, girly!" he said. He was awful with names. For now, in his head, they were labeled in his head as 'princess' and 'failed comedian,' but he wasn't about to go advertising that. His spirits were lifting considerably, and despite maintaining his typical slouch, there was a slight extra bounce to his step. For the first time since falling through the floor, things were really starting to look up.

Recon turned and noticed that she had fallen behind and he stopped to wait for Etherial to wipe the sewage grime off. To him, it didn't matter there were other things that were more important than doing that. "Come on hurr-" He stopped before he could even complete his sentence noticing that she had pushed in some sort of button. At first, he thought she just set off some trap but then he realized that they were still in a safe zone. Recon watched as the button she had pushed opened a secret door that had stairs behind it "Well that's a first." Recon turned to Oni to see him somewhat excited about the secret door. He let the two go up the stairs before him and he soon followed thank god that the air up there was much better than the one down in the sewer. The first thing Recon did was to pull down his neck warmer from his face ignoring Oni praising Etherial. He took a deep breath and smiled "Thank god that's over."

After waiting for the other two to regroup with her, Etherial notice something different about Oni. He seemed to be in a better mood than before. I guess in a way she would be to if she found a secret door that lead them out of a sewer. Walking behind Oni as Recon follows behind her as well the one thing, she notices was the lack of sewer smell and a nice smell of fresh baked bread, which means two things. They are near a bakery, or someone just recently got fresh bread and they so happen to leave the sewer at the right time to smell the goodness of fresh baked bread.

After a good while of being in the sewers it was nice to being able to see light again. The only thing is where does this hallway end up for them. As they approach the top of the old staircase, she sees an old rundown shack with the stench of fresh baked goods getting stronger by the second. It was only a matter of time she was able to get to eat something, but she did kind of promise to help Oni find what he’s looking for.
