As soon as he completed his somersault, he immediately rose to his feet and ran towards the wolf, ready to finish this battle and reach his destination. With a loud yelp, the wolf burst into an assortment of blue shards, indicating the fight was over. Ryo sheathed his blade and awaited his rewards to appear on the small screen in front of him. He realized that he would need as much Col as he could get his hands on if he wanted to escape this nightmare. He was able to see the small hunting community from atop a hill. A light breeze caused his white hair to flow and the lapel of his jacket to wave in the wind. As Ryo began his descent towards Horunka, he noticed a group of several other players and NPCs that appeared to be in combat and losing badly. He drew his longsword and ran over to see what was going on. As he did, an NPC with a familiar name rushed over to him with a request. His name was <> the one that the guy from town told him to look for. Hey, you there! Can you give us a hand?! We've got a Dire Wolf Alpha on our hands! Ryouhei then told all the players to back off so that he could do his work. Alright, it's just you and me... Let's do this! This seemed to cause the wolf to forget about all the other players it was fighting. This wolf was much larger than any others that Ryo had seen. It was bigger than a St. Bernard breed of dog and had shining silver fur. It also looked much more furious than the others. The wolf then ran at Ryo with an unmatched speed to go for a bite attack. He knew that he would have to finish this fight quickly if he wanted to walk away alive. He focused all the energy he had into his blade and attempted to stab the wolf, hoping to survive. Ryouhei was getting more familiar with the combat system, allowing him to land more hits and deal even more damage. The wolf still seemed uninjured and continued to attack with the same speed and ferocity that it had used before. He took another blow, but he stayed pretty stable. He decided to go for another one of his signature guillotine slices that he discovered in the last fight, putting every ounce of strength in his body behind his blade. Now it started to seem a bit uncomfortable with its injuries. Still, it was ferociously going after Ryouhei like it was trying to find its next meal. He decided it was time to get serious. He still had a lot of damage to deal to this thing, and he wasn't doing so well on his own HP. About this time, other players began to run in to try and help Ryouhei, seeing that he was getting beaten in combat. The other players began attacking the wolf, and one called for a <> with Ryouhei so that he could stop taking so much damage. He was foolish to try and fight it one-on-one, but he didn't want any other players to get seriously injured. Mustering what strength he had left, Ryouhei continued his assault on the wolf after it began focusing on other players. Suddenly, the wolf seemed very injured, almost as if its injuries were weakening it. It quickly turned over its shoulder and attempted to slash Ryouhei in the chest. To an overgrown dog, he would lose the game...? No. He couldn't give up here. He was so close to leveling up, so he decided to keep fighting. Realizing the danger he was in, he readied himself for death or a close survival, whichever fate decided to hand to him...
