A purely decorative piece originally designed by Wulfrin to commemorate an unbreakable bond, later tempered by brotherhood in arms . A katana, black as the deepest void with a Damascus pattern that mimics a river of lighter greys and blacks. They seem to flow within it. Outlined all over with mithril filigree, the blade gives and takes, like the tides that flow between learner and master until both reach equilibrium. In place of the usual mark of Sentinel Armaments is a Phoenix trapped in the coil of a long inky black shadow with two small shards of sapphire.  Persi could not have been more proud than to have been commemorated by such a memento.
