Zelrius was rather suprised that Elda didn't even stay awake long enough for him to use a fire kit. Shrugging, Zelrius decided that it would best if he got one goiglng anyhow. This being because it was only going to get colder and nothing in the blood buccaneers inventory could handle cooler climates. The reason for him not bring packed for the cold was he lived in the volcanos of floor nine, no need for jackets there.

So, activating the kit with a few hand swipes Zelrius began a fire, laid on the floor curled up, and fell asleep.

Elda wakes up to a loud "RAWR" echoing threw the canyon. Elda scrambling to her feet pulls her sword out and look around in the dark waiting for whatever it was to appear from the darkness. Elda with her sword in her right hand rubs her left eye with her left hand and then yawns. Tapping Zel on his head with her left finger she says "There is something in here with us," As she yawns again. The thing rawrs again. Elda jumps a little at the loud noise and prepares herself for battle.

Zelriusrub his left I was right hand in your own slightly telling Elda in a rather groggy voice: "Go back to bed. Christ, it'll be okay. If you're cold just get closer to the fire." Zelrius was then about to doze off once again until he heard the second rawr. Instantly he was on his feet, ready to fight, Sange in his left hand.

From the darkness, came a rather large millipede. Zelrius did not waste a second and swung at the millipede.

Elda not quite awake yet tries to swing and the beast. Instead as Elda steps forward a bit she trips on a large rock and falls on her face. Elda stays like that for a minute then jumps to her feet and say "I'm ready" looking around for the monster in the dark. Elda prepare herself for anything that comes her way.

The Millipede opens it's jaws to reveal tiny pincers hidden with in. In between those pincers was a small oppening that was its mouth. The Milipede crept forward and jabbed its several arms at both Elda and Zelrius, Trying to hurt the intruders of the home this insecty lived in.

Zelrius managed to evade all the little appendiages being thrown at him. Well, They weren't really little, Each was about a meter tall, But compared to the actual size of the pest, They were quite small. Zelrius gripped Sange a bit tighter and circled the Milipede quickly, hoping to strike from behind.

Elda's armor threw off any damage the monster tried doing to her as well. Elda smiles and runs and jumps of the wall and does a flip in the air before landing a blow on the creature. Landing on the ground Elda does a back flip to move away from the beast. Elda stands in a defensive stance waiting to hit again.

Now that Elda had landed a hit, The Milipede focused all his priority on to her. He opened his jaws to reveal the pincers once again and swooped his head down in an effort to get a nice bite out of the girl. His bite made its mark on her left forearm and hen he drew back, now waiting for a reaction, and preparing to make his own

Zelrius tried once more to jab the blade of his sword into the back of the Millipede. If only he could succed, Then this monster would be easy pickens from there. From Zelrius's observations on his damage and how large this enemies Hp bar was, He guessed it to only be about mid level. Well, Mid leveled compared to him, But on this floor, 30 or so HP was a lot considering most were only up to level 9 on this floor.

Elda looking at the slob of a creature and gets mad. Elda jumps at the monster. Elda slices and dices the monster's chest making her mark on it. Elda jumps back making distance between them. Elda looks at the marking it made and tries not to cry from the pain. Elda gets ready to fight once more.

Now Zelrius had obtained a little hate from this overgrown insect. It threw a few legs back to jab at him, without even looking. Which shouldn't be too much of a problem in the rather narrow Canyon.

Sadly for this enemy with an exoskeleton, It did not hit Zelrius This being the fact it had swung 4 legs over, and completely missed him. The Blood Buccaneer didn't even flinch as he knew that this little bug wouldn't hit him. Zelrius repeated the process of swinging his sword at the Milipede

Elda still in a little pain swings at the beast. Elda smacks the beast and jumps back a bit. "Lets finish this" Elda says. Elda prepares herself for another attack.

The Milipede once again took its many appendiages and struck em out in many directions in an effort to hurt the two intruders of its slumber. Though at this point, Attacking seemed futual since it wouldn't be that long until the pair managed to drop the HP bar to nothingness and the Insect would disappear.

Zelrius had managed to jump and duck over and under all the flying limbs. He took Sange in a tight grip and charged forth, now attempting to End this little battle, and since he was so tired, This little adventure.

Elda looks at Zel and yawns. She looks outside the canyon, and its still dark. Elda yawns again and curls into a ball on the ground after sheathing her sword and falls back asleep almost instantly. Elda sighs silently and underneath her breath she says the name Raidou. Smiling with her eyes closed she becomes asleep.

Zelrius looks back to Elda. He sighs and looks around, putting out the fire with a few menu selections and then holding out his hand to receive his robe back. He had the look of something bothering him, Though he dare not reveal what it was. Zelrius felt the heat slowly begin to regenerate around him, The sand making its sizzling noises as Monsters and heat ccrept throughout. It was time to go home, He decided.
