(SP F1-F3) The Lonely Road: Promise That Cannot Be Broken,Desires To Be Stronger [COMPLETE]

After a long walk from the field of crossing to the city of beginning and then going to F2 using teleporter (Yuji still can't get over the weird feeling of getting yourself transported to the other place using that thing), he arrive at the medieval themed floor. 

 

"Wasp and the Queen will be the next test... No time to dilly dally." He place his right foot forward,followed by left foot and repeat the same movement.

Greenery view enter his view,quiet breathtaking for the first timer. Not for him though as h have experience in this floor. As usual,the floor generate wasp and sometimes,wolf or other wild beast. With his sword on his side,he begin his mission towards his promise.

 

"Another hurdle to pass through,another step closer towards desire."

His eyes wildly looking for his first prey of the floor. If he can smell it from far,that will make the job a whole lot easier. Too bad SAO doesn't have that kind of skill. Not even if you train your nose can that be achieve,no. As much as he want to look for any rumors regarding it,he doesn't have time or col for that.

 

He shake his head,shaking away the pointless thought. He resume his search for the suitable wasp. Another search and he find it; the yellow thing fly around a tree,unaware of danger it will face.

Yuji mutter something quietly to himself. A chant or words of encouragement? Nobody knows. 

 

After he mutter the last word,he look forward and focus on his target. "Alright,time to begin the second round ." He run forward in speed that match a fast athlete,as fast the world fastest runner. The point he spent in the sprint skill worth it,eventhough it consume many point (6 point,that could be use to get 2 damage). 

 

Within seconds,he reach the wasp,entering the combat mode. He raise his sword high and swing it down aiming for the back. Will it connect though?

No wasp with fragile body can withstood a full force blow. The wasp fly far from it's original spot and shatter in the air before it could even land. He score his first kill of the floor with ease.

"Alright,next wasp." Finding a fragile wasp in the area where they spawn could be easy,but the moment he think like that could lead him to his demise.

 

Of course,his level and stats are high enough to kill the wasp,eyes close. So he ignore that first rule of survival (A rule made by the Beta-Tester Player) and proceed to finding it normally.

 

"I should fight more wasp at once to save myself some time. I still have F3 to tackle."

He spotted some flying mobs in groups not far from his spot. He move closer to them,confirming his observation. A few meter of walk and he can confirm that its a group of wasp. He rush in to take them by surprise,confident he can dispatch one wasp with his speed. As he get closer he can see there's 5 of them,flying around merrily (?). He close in quickly and initiate 4 hit combo on one of them.

One wasp go down without any resistance. The other four finally aware that they are in danger and engage their attacker. Yuji act swiftly by gaining himself some distance to get away from their deadly stingers.

Using his speed as an advantage,he overwhelm his enemies with dodge,jump and flips. He even get carried away,evading all the attacks while forgetting to attack back.

He awake from his trance when he trip on a rock and fall flat on the ground. The wasp dive towards him like a jet fighter,making him panic. He roll frantically on the ground to evade the wasp.

Rolling on the ground for a few minutes kill his back. After nearly avoiding the rain of stingers,Yuji roll away from the wasps and stand up. "Thanks for the wake up call,stone." He rework his step and continue his attack on wasp. Charging through their formation and placing himself behind their back gives him the advantage he needed for a clean hit on their back. He slash in a zigzag pattern  on one of the wasp. It's friends can come near without getting in contact with sword.

As a result,Yuji manage to give the wasp he hit a good beating,reducing it's HP to red area. The wasp return to their formation and begin attacking,in which he react with a sidestep to the left.

The wasp change their direction. In stead of flying straight at Yuji,they fly around him. "This could be a problem,looks like they can fly faster than I anticipate. Well then,how to get out from this situation..." Yuji run around randomly to shake away the wasp but to no avail. hey tightly lock in to him.

The wasp catch up to him and shower their stingers on him. Yuji can feel prickly needles pierce through his skin on the back. Yuji make a sudden turn to throw away the wasp.

Yuji run from the wasp for few minutes,finding a way in the midst of chaos on how to turn the situation around. From far it looks like a cartoon show where a guy get chase by bees for stealing their honey. In this game though that kind of situation can't be made a joke; it can lead to one's death.

He had enough of running around. He turn around and face the wasps. He hit the wasp that almost die and succeed in doing that. The wasp shatter while its friend charge at Yuji and attack him.

Their sharp stinger pierce through his body. He doesn't remember making any appointment with any doctor for any injection in this floor....  He start running again to gain himself some distance,only to bump into a tree. He didn't look straight went running ahead. As to why he did that,he didn't know. Focusing on getting away from all the pain must have taken away his focus on seeing things properly.

 

He fall to the ground and feel the soft sensation of the grass. As much as he want to take a nap and enjoy it,he can't. The wasps with their buzzing sound closing in on him with each second. Yuji stand up just in time to give himself some time to dodge the incoming attacks. As a result,he succeeded in doing that.

Sandwiched between a tree and the wasps, he can't move too much in that small area. Escape he must,but he can't find his timing to get away from the sticky situation. He need to focus on evading all the attacks. After one done,the other will attack and the cycle continue.The wasp come one after another, incorporating switch tactics in their attacks. Everything happen so fast Yuji almost go crazy he want to go full berserk mode. That won't help him much though as attacking blindly will bring more misery.

He tilt his body,duck,jump and roll on the ground to evade. Little by little he manage to get himself out from getting sandwich any longer. Took him all the energy he had to avoid the wasp. He run as fast as he can to find a place for him to hide so he can take a short rest. He run using the trees in the area as a cover. The wasps still hot on his tail.

 

"Tch...can't keep this up any longer."

Again,misfortune fall upon him when he get occupied with running away from the wasps. He slip without no reason and fall hard to the ground with a loud thump. The wasps merrily make a cushion pin out of him,stabbing as hard as they can. Needles become of the thing Yuji hated at that moment. If he manage to get out from this game,he will never go for any injection for the rest of his life....unless its necessary.

Yuji  throw his sword towards the wasps with great difficulties due to his position; he face the ground when he fall. He don't know where the sword fly,but he can no longer feel the sharp pain. He stand up and look for his sword;it lands not far from the place he stand right now. He make a mad dash towards it,reaching it before the wasps could even make their moves. He pull it out from the ground and hold it high.

 

"Sorry for that just now. I won't throw you like that again."

Yuji turn his attention back towards the group of Wind Wasp. He doesn't seem to be happy using his sword in improper ways. He slowly advance towards them,face turn sour. His steps gets lighter with every steps he take. 

 

The wasps fly at him for another attack. They swarm at him....or what may seems to be him. Yuji jump to the left and run towards their back before the wasps can get near him. Yuji try to land a vertical slash,but the wasps fly high to avoid the attack.

Yuji didn't stop there there though. He twist his hand wrist and slash upwards,hitting a wasp that doesn't fly high enough. It fly high in the air like a broken doll thrown by a brat,twirl in the air for a few times before shattering into pieces. The other two wasp dive at him like a kamikaze plane; Yuji stay on the spot to lure them before avoiding at the last minute. The wasps can't fly up due to the momentum and so they crash to the ground.

Yuji rain down slash upon slash on the helpless wasps. Another wasp become a victim to his onslaught . One wasp left before the end of the fight. The final wasp won't give up easily. It fly up back and attack Yuji when he get too occupied attacking its friend. His shoulder get sting; Yuji grab the wasp and throw it away.

Yuji ready his stance as the wasp get back up. It fly menacingly in the air,waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Yuji close his eyes and breathe in deeply,clearing his mind of all thoughts. 

 

The gentle breeze blow,he can feel the cool sensation on his skin. The buzzing sound of the wasp gets louder with each second..... 

 

Yuji open his eyes and see the wasp's stinger in front of his face. He bend his body backwards and slide forward, dodging the wasp while giving himself a perfect place to land his next strike; the back of the wasp.

He tighten his grip on the hilt of the sword. His sword glow crimson as if it's engulf by flame. Yuji place his left hand on the blade and raise the sword near his face.

 

"One Handed Sword Skill: True Crimson" He wipe the blade quickly from the end of the hilt to the tip of the blade and thrust forward at the wasp. He pull back and spin with his sword still glowing. He slash upward and slash downward again before he hold his sword with both hand.

 

"Eat this!" Yuji swing his sword upward as hard as he can. The blade meet the wasp,and strong air released from the impact. The wasp literally sliced to two.

 

"Whew,all done. Now for the boss."
