Sousuke 0 Posted December 12, 2014 #1 Report Share Posted December 12, 2014 Sousuke sat down at his regular spot as he does every morning, just having a smoke on his everlasting cigarette and watching players pass by. Most were obviously new to this floor and the odd player seemed to be visiting from up top. Sousuke had been up as far as the fifth floor for a quest but did not really enjoy his time up there. His favourite place was the fourth floor where the snow was. He preferred the cold to the weather on the other floors, but still the second floor had a nice atmosphere and a higher population. He took another drag of his cigarette and looked around into the crown to see if he could see anything out of the ordinary. Link to post Share on other sites
Tristan Delaney 0 Posted December 12, 2014 #2 Report Share Posted December 12, 2014 Tristan was having one of those lazy days, where he was on Floor 2, a floor he had been many times (including his first time adventuring and quest) and relaxing on a cafe chair, his Twinfire Reflector shield and his Devastator (pics in sig) strapped to his back. How the shield didn't set the chair on fire was beyond him but nonetheless, he was sitting quite comfortably. The shield served as a pretty good body warmer too mind you, with it being a skill for surviving harsh environments added extra. Tristan tended to wear all his gear, including his black Breastplate of the iron lord and various other attire, in case of emergencies that could happen at any time. Though no one can die in safe zones anyway, right? Tristan could smell cigarette smoke, a smell he had actually smelt very little in the vast world of SAO, not even pipe smoke. Maybe he should start up pipe smoking, would the negative effects of smoking even affect him in SAO? Surely not, as it was all virtual. Then surely though it would serve no actual function beyond a placebo on a person too. Well anyhow, Tristan decided to see where the smell came from, which was a young kid at least 5 years younger than him. Was it even allowed to smoke at an age below what was allowed in real life? Sousuke 0 Posted December 12, 2014 Author #3 Report Share Posted December 12, 2014 Sousuke adjusted his long black trench coat reminiscent of a well known solo front liner here in the world of SAO. That boy was a legend amongst legends and his choice of clothing was loosely based on his clothing. His sword which was a blood red colour was inherited from his late twin bother along with the coat, though Sousuke had modified it to fit his style and height. He looked around and his gaze caught that of another man with red hair and some interesting looking equipment. His armour looked to be well crafted and he had a very decorative spear balanced beside him. The shield on his back was emitting a red glow. Sousuke wondered about whether the shield was actually flaming or not. He took a drag of his cigarette and nodded to the player that was sitting on a wooden cafe chair. 'If he isnt careful that chair is going to go up in flames if that shield is the real deal.' he thought to himself Link to post Share on other sites
Tristan Delaney 0 Posted December 12, 2014 #4 Report Share Posted December 12, 2014 Tristan chuckled at the comment as he saw the kid. Was he some kind of wannabe Kirito or something with that coat? Well he wasn't entirely sure what the aim was with it, but decided not to challenge it, in case the reminiscence was unintentional. He remembered seeing Kirito at a party not long back, but they went off to do their own thing quite quickly, being the loner the guy was. Tristan looked at him said "You know as this is a unique item, you really would think it would. Apparently though its only if you try to hit it that it'll set you on fire. Kind of makes it a bad idea to hit me in some respects." He had still yet to come up with a good analogy to what hitting Tristan was like, his last one being 'like punching a steel hedgehog that was on fire' or something along those lines. That is a interested Shield alright. If you got set on fire just by hitting this man, well that defiantly pushed odds in his favor for sure. Either way that thing was certainly a good way to take someone out. When he commented on his smoking he shrugged ''Heh i guess so yea but the things ive seen i would rather be calm than drunk if you get me.'' he said to him. The man was clearly much much stronger than him and Sousuke thought he was quite interesting. 'I wonder what kinds of things he has seen' he thought. Link to post Share on other sites

"Well I won't fault you on that, nearly all my trouble have been from some drink of some kind." he remarked drinking that bravery potion which led to a mess he hoped never to reproduce. Tristan cracked his neck slightly then thought. He opened his mouth when his mind finally was making sense to him. "So how do you feel with going and fighting some monsters? A friend of his got very drunk and they spent the night together and well things got really awkward from there, he hadn't done anything with them but the girl didn't know that. When asked about fighting monsters he stood up and stretched. ''Sure i could use the exercise lead the way.'' was all he said while grinning Link to post Share on other sites

"Well the monsters won't kill themselves, so someone's gotta do it." Tristan said as he started walking towards the city gates, assuming the man/child would follow. The town was bustling with people, enough to rival the Town of Beginnings in size. Players and NPC's were almost indistinguishable in this safe zone, where they went about with their day to day lives in the outside world, just usually it was the NPC's serving players. The outside was rolling grass plains which had the view of mountains one couldn't even see the peaks of due to the high altitude clouds. Those mountains were not fun to climb when he did his <<Breaking the Unbreakable>> quest. Tristan withdrew his (rather long for a one handed) spear Devastator, a hand-me-down from Celes. He also withdrew his shield and was ready to be ambushed at any time. After all, it happened all the time when he was walking from the town towards his shop on the outskirts that some random mob would suddenly start attacking them from nowhere. "You ready?" He hadn't ventured to this side of the plains before. He only knew of the forests and caves scattered about to the east. The west side consisted of mountains and twisting paths entering various valleys. He drew his single longsword from the sheath on his back, its blood red blade glinting in the sunlight. "Ready." Hopefully he would find some stronger enemies, since they would actually give him loot... Sure enough, two large looking wolves appeared with a decent amount of HP. Well, it was something to sink his teeth into, pun totally intended. Tristan used his <<howl>>, a roar from what sounded a giant beast coming from him and making the enemies incredibly agitated. Sousuke 0 Posted December 12, 2014 Author #11 Report Share Posted December 12, 2014 BD 7 Sousuke readied himself for the fight and began to circle the wolves while their attention was on his new companion. He kept his sword held loosely at his side as he circled. He wanted to get big swing off to deal as much damage as he could. He saw an opening when one of the wolves lost its bearings of him and started to look around erratically . He rushed in and slid along the grass to avoid any counter attach the wolf would make, swinging his sword as he went. He managed to graze the left leg of the wolf and slid straight past coming to a rest next to the man. He pushed himself off the ground and saw the wolf was unfazed by his attack, if anything it was enraged. He gritted his teeth and prepared to dodge if anything came his way.
