Reytac had stared at the simple message from Mari for a moment before shrugging. The orange-haired woman had been kind of abrupt in nearly every encounter he'd had with her, preferring short and terse communications, so this made sense to him after he thought about it. The trip to the tenth floor and her store was shorter, and this time he felt a lot more secure - he didn't think he'd die if something sneezed on him this time. He passed by the gate guards to Yomi and followed the path back to Mari's little tent shop, taking a moment to chuckle at some similarities before he pushed inside. 

 

Only to pause, frowning, when he saw Mari. The orangette looked worse off than he had last seen her - her clothes were more disheveled and her hair unkempt, and it looked like the bags under her eyes had grown drastically. And worst, she was favoring her right arm, which looked like it had suffered extensive second degree burns. His mouth dried out at the sight of that. For a moment he thought about opening his mouth, to offer help - but he figured she wouldn't appreciate it. Not in general, and not from someone as weak as him. He pulled open his note app and cleared his throat to get Mari's attention as he showed it to her. 

"Afternoon Mrs Mari, here to pick up some things if you have them available."

"Hmm?" Mari lifted her head with a yawn. Oh...that's right. Rey had messaged her asking if she'd be able to be at her store; luckily for him - she had been crafting not long prior. Mari sat up straight and arched her back, it cracked in several places. "Yeh. Hang on." Mari scratched at her arm. It still hurt, but it was healing well enough. She supposed that was to be expected...after yanno, being kidnapped.

"Sup Rey." Mari would stand, looking at the note he slid over, most of it basic stuff.

"You know..." She began, as she started to collect all the things he had asked for. "I don't normally part with Ambition, not so many at least."

She continued to pitter around the store, loading all the things up into a small woven basket on the counter, a smell of fresh bread permeating from it. Showing what it had previously been used for. She didn't really want to part with ambition potions, but...perhaps she could - Mari needed to do a material run, and she didn't think she was in a state to do it on her own. She didn't have anyone she could bother. Not that she trusted the man before her...but...

"You said you owe me one, right?" Mari asked. "I'm going to need a lot of mats for them. But I'm not too keen on going out on my own right now. Come with me, and I'll sell them to you for cheap. 3 Mats each after the expedition." She paused looking him up and down. "Cause, if I am being honest, I am not sure you can afford it otherwise. I'd normally price them at 6 mats each. The rest...."

A tilt of her head as she glanced over the items. "20 Materials, which I prefer - or 15k your choice." A mostly arbitrary number to be sure. The woman probably went through far more materials than that to craft the items, but as long as she could keep the shop stocked, she didn't really care what she got for them.  "If you ain't coming with me then...30 Materials." She didn't offer him the choice to pay with col if he refused to help. Practically forcing him into the decision, but Mari didn't care.

Reytac frowned and rubbed his chin. If he had made this little shopping trip a week or two ago, it wouldn't have been ay issue to cover the material charge - but now he was dry on them from his own crafting. He gave a shrug. "Well, looks like we'll be making a trip then. I've used most of my materials making my Engineer gear. Part of why I need some of these things. So! Where will we be heading, then?" Getting the mats to pay her back would, hopefully, not take too long, and then anything extra he collected he could use himself to make more things.
