Sapphire 0 Posted April 4, 2015 Author #21 Report Share Posted April 4, 2015 Sapphire was about to begin bickering with Noctis, to give him reasons why he was wrong, and why she was right, but was interrupted by a dog. She gasped and turned to the puppy, bending down to pet the familiar. "Wow, wow, wow! So cute~" The young girl dropped down to her knees and began to pet the fur of the puppy when another male player made his way towards the group. Must be his pet. Sapphire's thought were confirmed when the stranger sat next to her. She waved in a friendly fashion and raised an eyebrow at his comment. That... was unexpected. But good too I guess. Sapphire shifted her blue eyes to Rusty, then to X, and back at Rusty. She stood up and frowned, kicking at the ground. "I-I'm afraid of heights,,," She admitted embarrassingly. The young girl listened to each player suggest and offer options, Oikawa finally giving her what she knew was to come. What do I want to do? She tapped her chin for a few moments before answering. "Show me around! Show me around!" Sapphire jumped up and down, clapping her hands. "I'm not supposed to go out too far. Ms. Ann says." Sapphire crossed her arms while becoming more serious about the rules her caretaker gave her. Link to post Share on other sites
Noctis 0 Posted April 4, 2015 #22 Report Share Posted April 4, 2015 I couldn't do much with the option I had. It was basically three out of four people wanting to put this girl in danger. In fact, I didn't want to be part of this situation, because I don't want to see something happen to a little girl. I let out a sigh, and just took a seat by the floor. It seems as if it was on cue, because another player drew near the group, and seems like he's friendly to the other players. "Tch.. Things around here are lively than before." I kept to myself, as I stare away towards the crowds nearby. I took in all the bickering that Sapphire gave to me, and I couldn't help but ignore everything. It was a habit he picked up when his parents would scold at him. I immediately stood up, and place my hands behind my head. I shift my position towards the opposite direction towards the group, and watched the water from the fountain splashing around. I heard that Sapphire was afraid of heights, and couldn't help but grin. ​We're on the first floor, I'm guess the second one will frighten her. I thought to myself, as I place my arms down. Sapphire then said to the group that she wanted to look around, and I stepped away from the group. "Good luck, you three. Don't lose sight of her." I said in a soft tone, knowing no one could hear me. The crowd was still active, and I used this to disappear from the group's sight. This little girl seemed to be somewhat responsible it's almost laughable. This brown haired guy was flashing me a slightly dirty look I didn't like that at all. Speaking of which I've just now realized that there's three dudes with one little girl. I supose Oikawas ok because you know the whole thing he has going on with calrex. "Well then little girl your still free to ride on my back if you get tired." I said to sapphire with a smile as I stood up. "The orphanage huh? Rusty 0 Posted April 4, 2015 #24 Report Share Posted April 4, 2015 Rusty glanced around to find that the sun was a little bit low in the sky. It was getting late and the sun was setting. Oikawa said something about the new boy not being a certain type so he calmed down a bit. Cracking his knuckles, Rusty sat down on a nearby bench as Noctis left the group. He was a bit tired from the long day, so he rubbed his eyes diligently to keep them open. The new arrival then spoke up about playing for kids at the orphanage, and that was the point where he had enough. "If you really think that's an achievement, need I tell you that more than half of those kids are NPCs, only there to make the quests given more realistic." Oikawa then realized that Noctis had decided to remove himself from the group. Hmm I wonder where he's off too? Bending over, he patted the girls head before saying, "Okay. How about this. We can tour the town for a bit. Show you important places like shops and the market. Then we bring you back to the orphanage? We can save training for another time. Is that alright?" X commented on how he used to play songs at the orphanage, to which Rusty critically responded. These two sure aren't getting along well. Not that X and I get along either. I suppose should an altercation occur, I should intervene. S1 does have a reputation to uphold and after my fiasco we don't need anymore tarnishing. Link to post Share on other sites

She would've waved goodbye or said something, but assumed he didn't want the leave to be noticed, and shrugged the thought away. I know I'm little and in a big crowd but does he really think I'd run away? Well... I probably would actually. The young girl stared up at Oikawa and smiled, nodding in agreement. "Of course. That's all I want." She didn't notice the "rivalry" between X and Rusty. "I'll let you know, m'kay?" She told X. Sapphire then skipped ahead, holding Liz tightly in her arms. She turned and motioned for the boys to come along. "Let's hurry! I wanna see as much as I can, so don't be slow." Sapphire twirled around, hugging Liz tightly. "Oh this'll be fun Liz~" The young girl was extremely excited for the short adventure, but adventure nonetheless. Her blue eyes shifted to the people and buildings around, glimmering with wonder at building could seem so beautiful and be entertaining. Daddy did good, super good. I wish he could see this now. Does he have to nitpick every little thing I say. Those are actually really good qualities if your trying to be a prick. Well I guess there's only one way I could get through this. "Are we gonna have a problem you and I?" I slowly asked rusty. I looked over at sapphire who was ready to go I supose she wouldnt mind seeing some combat. "Tell you what regardless of your answer how about a half loss duel... Tell you what first shots yours." I told the player as I sent over a duel request. As the request sent I tightened my hand wraps a little bit more. Then I looked over to the little girl gripping her bear. "This'll only take a second sweetie." Rusty 0 Posted April 6, 2015 #28 Report Share Posted April 6, 2015 Sighing as the fact that this boy was one of the agressive types, Rusty decided to stop with the sarcastic remarks. "No, we aren't going to have a problem because there is none. Rusty mumbled. This wasn't what the boy was thinking however, as he decided to send Rusty a duel request in order to prove his skills. He wasn't interested in doing another duel, considering how his first one went. What annoyed him greatly was that the player offered him first hit, implying that he need that. This guy is way too cocky and he really is trying to impress people. This idea solidified in his mind when the player told Sapphire that this would only take a minute. "You know, I don't think its a big deal if you beat me in front of her. I'm not acting this way just cause I dislike you, I'm somewhat like this to everyone. She sniffled and shook her head. "But nevermind! I'm tired of this. I'll just, ...just go back home. Everyone's fighting cause of me. I don't want anybody to get hurt." Sapphire wiped her tears on Liz and bowed her head, obviously thinking it was her fault. Sort of. The young girl just wanted the fighting to stop but didn't necessarily think she was the problem. Although I would beat the living sh*t out of him. Just then Saphire spoke up and it made me turn quickly. Seeing the whiping of a tear made me remember what I was like at that age... "Hey kid, it's alright,l-look there across the street." I said to Saphire as I kneeled next to her and pointed. "That's a place called the starlight café. They make really good food and I happen to know the owner. Let's go over there and see if you want anything to eat yeah?" I said standing up offering the child my hand. Oikawa had became fed up with X's macho performance and had decided to step in between Rusty and his guildmate. Sapphire reluctantly beat him to the punch, albeit she had a different way of handling it. The guilt trip ridden statement that she provided indeed proved to have a perfect effect on the boys as X decided to take her to the Starlight Cafe. A cafe that most of S1 and many other acquaintances of theirs frequented. I guess I don't have to resolve the issue now. X needs to tone down more. He'll end up giving us bad name if he keeps trying to square off with any person that "rubs him the wrong way." Tsk Tsk. This better not become bothersome. Link to post Share on other sites
Rusty 0 Posted April 7, 2015 #32 Report Share Posted April 7, 2015 Seeing as X was calmed down by Sapphire's words, Rusty stood up with a still neutral expression on his face. Walking over to Oikawa, he apologized "Sorry about setting off this kid, usually my remarks are followed with a screw off, not an invitation to fight in a duel." Stepping back, he watched as the player offered the small girl an invitation to a nearby cafe. Rusty wasn't affected that much ny the girl's words, he wasn't fighting after all. If anybody needed to calm down, it was obviously X. He seemed to be angered easily and semeed to have big ego that he protected with his life. This wasn't the first time Rusty had angered somebody so violently, he had history of doing so back in the real world. Link to post Share on other sites

Anyway I suppose I shall escort them. Lord knows what trouble they'll get into with X leading this parade." Oikawa then stood on standby as the girl decided on whether she wanted to go with X or not. She clapped happily after tucking her teddy bear under an arm. Sapphier let go of the boy's hand. She stepped so everyone else could catch up to her, since she'd been skipping ahead, and walked slowly despite being so excited. "I hope they have candy, and soda, and cookies, and cake. Oh! Did I mention candy?" Sapphire ranted as the group made there way to the cafe. "Regular food hurts my stomach..." She crinkled her nose and shook her head, hoping the cafe did indeed carry what she pleased. Ms. Ann would feed her snack food, because after more than enough tries, the caretaker gave up on feeding Sapphire "actual" meals. She pointed to a cafe in the distance, that she knew was the place X spoke about, but decided to ask anyways. "Is that it?" Link to post Share on other sites

When I entered I tipped over tables and ran to the counter. "Hey old man!" I yelled as I began frantically ringing the bell. The shop owner then came out and pushed the bell away from my hand. "X what the hell?" The shop owner asked me. "A little girls gonna walk in here any second make her some sweets!" I yelled as I started pushing stuff off his counter. "What? X calm down!" "Make some f*cking sweets!" I ordered as I punched a perfect hole into the counter. "Alright! Alright!" The shop owner said as he retreated back to his kitchen. Then I tipped the tables back over that I knocked down and straightened out the counter. I also took a mat and placed on top of the hole I made. I then looked out the door and saw they were still walking over. Then I closed the door again and clapped my hands as I ran towards a chair. Putting one foot on the seat and one on the back rest I slid across the cafe to a table near the counter. I sat down on the chair and waited for the others to enter. Link to post Share on other sites
Oikawa 1 Posted April 9, 2015 #36 Report Share Posted April 9, 2015 Sapphire's eyes widened as she quickly grasped X's hand. Seems like we're going to the cafe then. "Tagging along Rusty?" He waited briefly for answer before deciding to trail the, now skipping, Sapphire and the striding X. Suddenly X broke into a sprint and went inside the cafe. Wander what that's all about? Picking up the pace, Oikawa caught up to Sapphire who had now slowed to a walk, and spoke. "This is one of my guilds favorite hangouts. The place seemed to gain a lot of business as X, I and many others continue to bring in new people to enjoy their desserts and meals. I think you'll find exactly what you're looking for there." He then led the girl on up to the door. As he entered, he held the door open for the younger player before gesturing for her to take up a seat near X who seemed to look just a smidge exhausted. Wonder what he did while we walked here? There's no telling with him. "Hey X, scoot over so Sapphire cans it down and order." Oikawa then seated himself and waited for a waitress to acknowledge them. Soon after, Oikawa started to follow the two other players and Rusty went on his way. He didn't feel like talking to anybody, as the day was tiring him. He was telling the truth. He wasn't really a people person, although he would talk once in a while. Putting his hands in his pockets, he began to walk along the path as the orange sun shone on his face. The virtual star was setting, signalling for him to go find a place to stay. Rusty ignored it as he continued going down the cobblestone road. His hair flew as the wind whipped around. Sapphire 0 Posted April 15, 2015 Author #38 Report Share Posted April 15, 2015 Sapphire hardly noticed Rusty leave, her attention on a speeding X, and thoughts of stuffing herself with sweets. It feels like it's been days since I've eaten. She rubbed a growling stomach, despite having eaten only hours ago. Sapphire's eating disorder was an odd one, and the meals Ms. Ann fed her weren't satisfying to the body she occupied. "Great!~" She exclaimed when Oikawa mentioned the place would have what she wanted. Sapphire smiled as a thanks to Oikawa who opened the door for her. The young girl playfully nudged X. "Yeah! Move over!" After the boy would scoot over, Sapphire would take a seat next to him and swing her legs excitedly. Her blue eyes searched the group, and in a moment, Sapphire would frown. "Um... Oikawa... Did Rusty leave? Also what's a guild?" There were many things on the young girl's mind but those were the top two concerns and questions at the moment. Link to post Share on other sites

The results were failing as she still didn't acknowledge them. Lousy in-game service if you ask me. It used to never be this hard to get a waitress. Ah well. The sounds of a small curious voice returned him to reality from his thoughts. Turning to face the girl, Oikawa answered her recent inquiries. "Yeah Rusty left. He prefers a small crowd, however, he wanted me to relay a message. "Bye"" The blonde looked at Sapphire with a concerned stare. He hoped she didn't take it the wrong way and would understand that some people just prefer to keep to themselves.
