As Calrex reached the apex of his jump he flipped the Grand Blade into a reverse grip as he descended. As he reached his maximum fall speed the blade lit alight with a blue glow, leaving an afterimage of a falling chain in its wake. As Calrex got into striking range of Avalanche he stabbed his sword into the area that would normally be where a human's heart was. As he did a resounded breaking noise echoed through the entirety of Avalanche as a series of cracks radiated from where Calrex had pierced the construct.

"Weak point located..."

Immediately after the cracks appeared Avalanche began to get back to its feet. Calrex held onto his sword as he rode the shaking and such that came with the construct righting itself. Eventually once it completely stood up Calrex placed his feet onto his sword once again as his eyes remained fixed on the "heart" of the giant.

"A few more shots will eliminate Avalanche...resuming attack."

As Calrex managed to regain his balance Avalanche had immediately reacted as it attempted to [censored] him up once again. This time Calrex saw the attack coming as he quickly released his sword from its place in the stone, quickly dropping down out of the hand's grasp. As he did he quickly stabbed the Grand Blade into the ice once again, this time with the edge pointing downwards. With the new orientation the sword easily cut through the ice as Calrex slid his way down the chest area. Unfortunately as he got to the bottom Avalanche's other hand came down and managed to slam Calrex into the chest piece like one would squash a fly.

As Calrex recovered from the powerful blow he gave a calming breath as he looked up once again. He landed on the piece of ice serving as the hip joint as he gave a chilling breath.

"Enemy's health critical. Preparing to deal finishing blow..."

"Need to get back to the weakpoint..."

Calrex looked as Avalanche resumed its attack once again, swinging an arm over to try and grasp him once again. However, this time Calrex actually allowed the hand to trap him.

"Going from past attack, hand clenches once, then begins throwing attack movement. Timing will be right inbetween the two actions..."

He braced for impact as Avalanche crushed his hand once again, dealing a critical blow to Calrex. As the attack hit Calrex gave one last chilling exhale as he readied his sword. As the hand relaxed he quickly flipped his sword into reverse, turning and dealing a strong slash that knocked the hand open. As the surrounding area came back into view he saw that Avalanche had moved him up closer to his head. As he was released Calrex's eyes immediately locked onto the central point where his critical strike landed last time. With that he quickly kicked off the hand, diving straight for the weakpoint.

As he got into striking range he quickly stabbed his sword into the weak point once again, this time with a different result. Almost immediately after striking Avalanche stopped moving, now frozen in place. A few second after the construct began to fall apart piece by piece.

Calrex quickly released his Grand Blade from the ice and slid his way back down Avalanche's body, landing in the snow before quickly rushing away to avoid the falling pieces of ice. A few seconds after that the entire creature vanished in a series of crystals.

"Objective complete...Now reverting back to improvised tactics..."

Calrex stabbed the Grand Blade into the ground as he knelt down behind it, his head hanged over with both hands grasping the handle. The light in his eyes slowly returned as his breathing became less chilling as he felt his emotions come flooding back.

"Gh...so that was the result..."

"It's...going to take some time...to bring that under control..."

He closed his eyes in a wince as he gritted his teeth, trying to give more calming breaths that echoed through his Grand Chariot armor.
