Teayre 0 Posted May 19, 2015 #1 Report Share Posted May 19, 2015 ID: 16589 LD: 7 Looking back at the pile of rubble behind them Teayre sighs hefting her blade, looking at Calrex she smiles meekly at him. “Say Callie you got enough healing potions for yourself and that just incase?†As she gazed at the boy her brow furrowed walking over to him she quickly kisses him on the lips. “Just in case you’d better put your armour on.†Heading back over to the pile of rubble Teayre begins to look over it again searching for anything she might have missed. Finding nothing she shakes her head, "Damn I was hoping we'd be able to find something of use from there." Standing up she heads back down the passageway following Calrex as they reach the end it branches out into three different ways. “So which path do you want to take? I want to say the left one… The air doesn’t smell as foul.†Sniffing the air Teayre starts to head down that path the torches on the walls illuminating the way. Link to post Share on other sites

In fact I have one healing crystal and a teleportation one, just in case." As Teayre suggested he don his armor Calrex gave a nod as he made a few swipes on his menu. Since the Grand Chariot was in one of his ready slots it didn't take long for the full-body deep sea blue armor to cover his body as he gave a calming breath. Even with the torches lighting the path he made sure his <<Night Vision>> and <<Reveal>> abilities were active to be careful. As they continued down the passage he thought he saw something useful for a second, but it turned out to be useless upon closer inspection. When they reached the three pronged path Teayre suggested they take the path on the left because of the smell. "Hm...usually foul smell would indicate a lack of air passing through, so you're probably right. Let's take the left." Before proceeded he made sure that he inspected the path ahead with his detection skills to make sure there were no ambushes lying in wait. After doing so he motioned for Teayre to follow. As Calrex started looking at the left hand path, Teayre held back looking at some of the area as she looked up at the stone architecture. “Callie, it doesn’t look as if this area is natural… I think we’ve stumbled upon a dungeon.†As Teayre looked back around to where Calrex her mouth dropped as a large kobold appeared its weapon already hurtling towards Calrex. As if in slow motion Calrex seemed to spin his sword coming up parrying the attack, the beast snarled as it started to continue a harrying attack each blow seemed to just miss the boy. Gritting her teeth Teayre started to run towards the creature her <Charge> skill activating as she gusted past the beast her katana was extended upwards towards her right. Spinning she began to assault the creature with a flurry of attacks. “Cal you forgot to check the other passages.†Her tone was short as her blade began to nick the kobold in various places, as Teayre stepped back she watch the beast shake its head as its eyes glinted from the torch light as it glared up at her. “Switch!†Red crystals continued to fall from the beast as Teayre readied her weapon for its next attack. Calrex 0 Posted May 26, 2015 #4 Report Share Posted May 26, 2015 ID: 17327 Battle Dice: 9 (+1 Damage) As Teayre leapt back from her attack Calrex looked at the kobold, giving a small smirk as he twirled his sword before rushing forward, "It's alright, we'll worry about those once we take care of this little distraction." "Kobold is a humanoid reptile, meaning its stands on two legs. Wields a curved blade, so it specializes in slashing attacks. Got it..." As his cold persona quickly analyzed the creature Calrex quickly closed the distance between him and the creature using his <<Sprint >> ability. As he got into striking range he quickly dropped his body low as he flicked the Grand Blade forward. He used his lowered stance to push forward as he pierced through the creature's stomach before ripping it out to the side. As he did he stepped forward with the strike before quickly rotating and delivering a down slash on it. With that he leapt back, twirling the Grand Blade in his right hand before tossing it lightly into the air, the blade spinning rapidly as he caught it in his hand in a reverse grip, "Alright Teayre go for it. Watching the creature flick its blade out towards Calrex as he leapt back missing the blue head by mere inches. Teayre clashed with the creature her Katana sailing out the kobold had struck upwards towards her and parried her attack. Several exchanges later Teayre backed up slightly panting heavily. As she looked up at the beast Teayre took in a deep breath her <Concentration> skill activating as she darted forwards again snaking her way towards the creature, its attacks were missing her as she moved finding a weak point Teayre whipped the Oikawa Kanashiki out into the exposed section of the kobold and kicked away watching the red crystals leak from it before stopping. “Cal you’re up. IC: ID: 17333 Battle Dice: 2 As Teayre switched back out Calrex nodded as he rushed forward, "You got it, I'll keep up the pressure." With that he quickly rushed in, readying his Grand Blade in a reverse grip. As he got into striking range he thrust forward in a punch like motion, aiming to cut across the kobold. As he did the creature's blade raised up, catching his strike with a vertical guard. "Repositioning comes next. I'll get behind it." Right as the attack failed Calrex quickly swung his sword arm back, using the momentum to rotate his body. At the same time he stepped around the kobold, stopping his momentum behind it. Huffing the small girl grips her hands tight on her katana as the even small creature in front of her began to flick is blade haphazardly towards Calrex who managed to block a few of its strikes. The creature snarled as it ducked low underneath another strike from the blue haired boy driving it’s blade deep in Calrex’s abdomen. “CAL!†Teayre’s eyes flicked to Calrex’s health bar and it had only dropped down a very small amount, a grin came to her face as she dashed forwards her katana glinting in the dim torchlight as she grabbed the kobold ripping it back. Looking it in the eyes she sighs. “So weak. Immediately after he dropped his body low as he closed the <<Sprint>> ability to quickly close the distance. As the kobold tried to strike from above he thrust his arms up and forward, knocking the creature's limbs up and back before he delivered a rapid series of slashes, as if he were disabling the kobold's limbs before he turned with his back to the monster, impaling it through the abdomen before wrenching his blade out, cutting the lizard in half. With the creature dissipating into crystals Calrex gave a calming breath before he twirled the Grand Blade back into its sheath, "Alright, that was quick. So, shall we keep moving then Teayre?" Teayre 0 Posted June 9, 2015 Author #9 Report Share Posted June 9, 2015 ID: 19241 LD: 1 Nodding at Calrex Teayre returns Oikawa Kanashiki to its sheathe, instead of leaving it on her belt she detaches the whole thing and carries it in her left hand. “Yeah let’s make a move.†As she said about moving she sunk down onto her backside, grimacing. “Maybe in a minute… I need to sit down… My vision it’s just gone weird…†Putting her hands on the ground Teayre shuts her eyes before trying to reopen them. Crawling over the ground she picks up a rock. “Cal I found a mat! What do you think?†Hugging the rock to her Teayre smiles, as her eyelids begin to flutter. Teayre gains a lump of rock. Calrex looked over in concern as he ignored his surroundings, walking over as his eyes scanned Teayre's features for anything out of the ordinary. From what he could tell there wasn't any status effects on her, meaning that the kobold wasn't using a poisoned weapon or anything like, "Here go ahead and sit down for now and rest. I'll stand guard for now." He gently put a hand on her shoulder as he directed her into a sitting position as he sat in front of her, looking around, "I wonder if it might be the area itself. It doesn't seem like there's any environmental effects here, but if it's anything like the ninth floor there might be slightly lower levels of oxygen down here that could be messing with her head." Teayre 0 Posted June 11, 2015 Author #11 Report Share Posted June 11, 2015 ID: 19467 LD: 13 “It’s just a rock?...†Teayre looked up at Calrex her face dropping, as she looked back down at her ‘material’ her jaw slowly drops before she throws the rock away wrapping her hands around her knees from where Calrex had put her in a sitting position. “Damnit Cal…†Letting out a sigh, Teayre pushed herself back to her feet, “I guess we’d better carry on.†Disappearing into the left hand entrance Teayre sets on ahead of her fiancée, the darkness covering her as she delved further into it. As the dingy tunnel came to an end a great chasm expanded before them, stopping just before the chasm on a little ledge that was barely big enough for two people to stand on. The red head looked out over into the chasm, leaning slowly her hand on the wall next to her gripping onto a few cracks as she gazed into the pits. A roar echoed up through this great abyss and the shockwave sent up caused Teayre to stagger back a bit clutching onto the wall for her life. “C-Cal… Are you okay?†Link to post Share on other sites

As Teayre fell back he stepped forward and stabbed the Grand Blade into the wall as he placed a hand on her shoulder to help her stabilize, "Yeah, I'm alright. I'm guessing that there's something below that we should be careful of." He looked down as he gave a calming breath, using his <<Reveal>> skill to look down into the abyss. Unfortunately even with his skill turning the surroundings transparent there wasn't anything he could make out that he couldn't before, "Alright then, how do you think we should proceed?" As the roaring stopped a loud cracking sound resonated from above them. Looking up Teayre saw a stalactite wavering back and forth. As if in slow motion it began to fall, Teayre pulling on Calrex’s hand as she tried to get back to the entrance. However the boy was holding onto his sword firmly and it only came free just as the needle sharp rock pierce the ledge they were stood on sending them tumbling down into the depths. Falling, endless falling... Where did it end? Was there no bottom to this chasm when would their lives end? The wind gushing past them did little to ease Teayre’s worries as he hand tightly gripped Calrex’s. Teayre heard a small clattering before both of them were plunged into a pool of water, luckily escaping from the fall unscathed. The needle like rock landed in front of them on the hard surface of the chasm’s floor, shattering, Teayre pulled Calrex to the shore line and helped him up onto the solid ground before heaving herself up onto it. Taking a piece of the rock that had almost been their inevitable doom Teayre rolls it around in her hand. “So close, yet so far Cal. We survived. Where to now then?†As she looked down her eyes widened as she realised the stalactite would be useful, pocketing it she leaned against Calrex. + 1 Material Link to post Share on other sites
Calrex 0 Posted June 11, 2015 #14 Report Share Posted June 11, 2015 ID: 19494 Loot Dice: 2 (Search and Detect +2 / Item +1) = 5 As the two dropped down the chasm Calrex was looking at previously all of a sudden he felt himself hit water, going below. The weight of the Grand Chariot was a burden on him while he was underwater so he quickly swiped on his menu to switch back to his casual combat clothing. As the heavy armor vanished from him he felt his body instantly change in the direction of the water's surface as he gave a gulp of air as his head broke out. He felt himself being pulled by Teayre as he kicked his feet to make the burden a little bit easier as he got to his feet, his clothing soaked, "Well, that was certainly unexpected." His shirt was soaked through enough that it became partially transparent as he took off his coat and tried to squeeze some of the water out, temporarily forgetting that their outfits instantly dried upon switching to another piece of clothing. He shook his head to help get some of the water out, his hair still partially matted from the liquid, "In any case it looks like we're not going to be going back that way, so we might as well keep making our way further in. Teayre 0 Posted June 13, 2015 Author #15 Report Share Posted June 13, 2015 ID: 19696 BD: 10 (8 + 2 ACC) MD: 1 Blushing slightly as Calrex’s stripped to the waist Teayre quickly hugged him as another roar echoed down through the cavern, this time it was above them a creature began to slowly walk down the wall its thick legs plunging in and out of the cavern causing Teayre to shudder every few moments. The small red head looked at Calrex waiting for him to re-equip his armour before the spun the Oikawa Kanashiki around in her hands. Activating her <Sprint> and <Charge> skills Teayre begins to run up the wall towards the lumbering frog like beast. It leapt off the wall bouncing down towards Calrex as his armour materialized around him. Kicking herself off the wall back flipping the red head follows the beast down as it landed just before the blue boy. Her katana plunged into its flesh, sliding through the scales that covered its back. As she pushed back off of it her eyes flicked up to its name plate. “Cal! Switch!†Scaled Frog 80 HP 3 Damage on Hit On BD of 8 - 9, it lashes you with its tongue poison effect for 1 DMG for 3 turns. On a BD of 10, the frog bites you picking you up in its jaws clamping down for two damage per turn and paralysis until you free yourself. CD of 4+ required to free self. As he felt her body against his his mind put together that his shirt was semi-transparent as his face flushed before seeing the frog descend the chasm, targeting the two of them. As Teayre prepared herself he quickly swiped on his menu, the deep-sea blue armor of the Grand Chariot reappearing around his body. The feeling of wetness clinging to his skin immediately ceased as he gave a calming breath, "Alright...let's do this." He drew the Grand Blade, unlocking it from its sheath without fully drawing it. As Teayre leapt off, completing her attack Calrex used the <<Sprint and Acrobatics>> ability to become a blur of movement. Using the chasm's walls as jumping points he slashes rapidly in an almost omnipresent attack, the slashes moving fast enough that the strikes seemed to come from all directions at once before he slowed his movement on the last jump, cutting through the monster as he landed at the edge of the water below, "Alright, Teayre switch!" Gritting her teeth Teayre watches as Calrex is sent flying. “CAL!†Jumping she begins to run towards the beast, the whip like tongue lashing out as Teayre ducked and dodged the attacks. Jumping and spinning like a torpedo Teayre avoids one attack her katana in her hands she uses her momentum to slash the tongue causing the beast to let out another howl. Sheathing her blade Teayre dives into the water and swims after Calrex calling his name as she sees him fall into the water. Calrex looked down as he suddenly felt something latch onto his armor's chestplate, looking down to see the pink mass of the frog's tongue before it yanked him and slammed him into the opposite wall before releasing him. He glanced over at his HP bar to see a new status effect next to it: A green liquid drop, the indicator for being poisoned. "Well, not exactly out of the ordinary there for a frog-type monster right?" As he hit the water the Grand Chariot began to pull its weight down. He could feel the heaviness of it as he gave a calming breath, "Can't freak out about this. All I need to do it try and get myself over to the wall. Even underwater I should be strong enough to use the Grand Blade as a climbing implement." Hearing another slash he looked up to see Teayre enter into the pool as well, making her way towards him. He signaled over to the nearest wall, directing her towards it as he made his way over. The weight of the armor was pulling him downwards, but only halfway down as he reached the wall. Drawing the Grand Blade he impaled it into the rocky surface as he slowly began to pull himself upwards. After spending a significant amount of time he broke the water's surface as he pulled himself onto the edge of the ground, giving a couple of breaths before he got to his feet, "Darn...that took more time than I was hoping. Teayre 0 Posted June 17, 2015 Author #19 Report Share Posted June 17, 2015 ID: 20049 BD: 4 (2 + 2 ACC) MD: 9 As Calrex reassured her about focusing on the scaled frog Teayre felt a sharp sting on her back, another one causing her to grit her teeth and stagger forwards as she fell onto the blue haired boy in front of her. “Urgh!†Placing one hand underneath her Teayre forces herself up, as she turns around she sees the tongue from the creature coming towards her. As it caught her face Teayre looked at her health bar and saw a small green droplet form there. “Damnit… Right let’s try and deal with it.†Diving into the water Teayre exhales swimming just underneath the surface as she gets dragged up and sent flying over to the wall behind the frog. “ARGH!†Letting out a scream as she collided with the wall Teayre falls to the floor panting. “C-Cal…. "Tch..." He gritted his teeth for a second before using his <<Sprint>> ability to rush in, leaping off of the walls until he was high above the frog. Using his <<Acrobatics>> he lined himself up so that he was directly above its head as he descended, gaining speed as he fell. While falling he raised the Grand Blade high as he grasped it in an icepick grip with both hands. Once he landed on top of the frog he would drive the sword into its head from above, "Hey pal, you keep you're eyes on me, got it? No one's Frenching her except me." Once the strike connected Calrex wrenched the sword out as he leapt over to Teayre's side, helping her to her feet, "You alright?"
