Teayre 0 Posted June 17, 2015 Author #21 Report Share Posted June 17, 2015 ID: 20066 BD: 9 (6 + 2 ACC + 1 LM) MD: 10 (+2 DMG CRIT, +2 DMG per Turn) Pushing herself up off the ground before momentarilty dropping Teayre yells out screaming as she runs at the frog her katana sheathed, as she steps within range the girl activates her <Acrobatics> skill and sends herself hurtling over the beast. As she’s moving through mid-air Teayre slashes out across the scaled frog’s back and rolls landing on the other side of the frog. Looking back the way she came she sees that her foe had moved and was now facing Calrex. It’s tongue lashed out at the boy and caught him, wrapping around his middle and pulled him back in. As it shut its mouth a loud crunch could be head. “CAL!†Teayre’s grip on her katana shifted the hilt was now at the top left of her vision the blade was angled across her body and pointed down towards her right toe as she began to step forward. Calrex had readied himself to strike once he found an opening, but suddenly he felt the familiar feeling of the frog's tongue around his waist as he felt himself get tugged in. Suddenly all lights went out as he felt a strange slimey feeling all around him, even from within the Grand Chariot armor, "Oh great of course the frog would do this kind of attack." He began to try and pull the tongue off of him as he looked around. Inside the pitch darkness of the frog's mouth his <<Night Vision>> allowed him to see clearly as he looked around. "It's too cramped in here to try and strike from the inside, so I'd best focus on getting out right now." Catching her foot on a rock the small red head stumbles over and begins to roll towards the frog. Her katana clattering on the ground as she skids to a halt. Shaking she back pedals a bit as the beast looms over her, before it turns around and plonks itself down and starts to chew. “CAL!†Raising her hand reaching for Calrex before she doubles over in pain, her other arm pressing across her stomach. “Damnit… I’m going to save him… Just you wait, I’ll kill you…. Calrex continued to try and wrench himself free, but it seemed that the frog had more than enough energy to spare to keep its tongue wrapped around him like an anaconda. As the creature chomped down again it's mouth flapped open for a second, giving a flash of light before Calrex felt the Grand Armor endure the hit once again, "Teayre! I think if you score a hit it should stun it enough that I can get free!" With that he gave a calming breath as he prepared himself, "Need to time this right..." Activating her <Acrobatics> skill Teayre follow the creature grabbing hold of its foot she spun round it and flicked herself on top of the beast. Pointing her katana down Teayre shoves it through the back of her foe twisting it left and right trying to open up as she lands the girl is thrown forwards off the back of her opponent her katana coming with her. “Let him go. You stupid frog.†Standing up her head low she began to slowly walk towards the frog her hands white round the hilt of her katana. “Cal. As Teayre's critical hit connected the frog winced in pain as the strength it was putting into keeping Calrex trapped in its mouth released. Feeling the lack of resistance Calrex quickly pushed his arms out as he knocked the tongue off of him, getting free. He gave a calming breath as he focused towards the mouth. Upon flinging Teayre off of itself, the frog also inadvertently opened its mouth. Calrex quickly exploited this opportunity and launched himself out of the mouth back over to the floor, landing on the ground. However, the slime from inside the frog's mouth made it difficult to land as he slid a good distance before stopping, "Well, this is just a little gross..." He flicked his arms as he felt the slime starting to flick off, "Alright I'm back, sorry for the delay. Let's take this thing down." Nodding at him Teayre activates her <Sprint> skill and becomes a blur as she dashes around the frog, the beast turning left and right trying to keep up to no avail. As she suddenly appeared beside Calrex again her hair whipping forwards as she skids to a halt the health bar of their opponent drops. “Switch. If you get caught again Cal, I’ll hit you instead of the frog.†Her voice had a tone of anxiousness and worry crossing it as Teayre spoke. Her eyes watching Calrex as he started to make his movement. As she finished speaking the frog lashed its tongue out at the pair rolling to the left Teayre avoids the attack as she stands back up she takes a couple of steps back her katana in her right hand held loosely. "Cal get a move on damnit!" Gnashing her teeth together Teayre starts to duck and dodge each blow thrown out by the frog. Calrex gave a calming breath before using his <<Sprint>> ability to quickly accelerate, leaping up into the air before bouncing off the wall, his eyes locked on the frog, "Let's see if it likes a little dissection trick..." He twirled the Grand Blade into a reverse grip as he kicked off the wall, sailing straight for the frog's side. As he got into striking range he impaled his sword into its side, with the main edge facing downwards. As his weight shifted downwards the blade dragged a large cut along the frog. Upon coming close to the bottom Calrex swung his body forward, forcing the blade drag across some of the monster's belly before it released. While he flew through the air Calrex did a quick backflip to right himself in the air before landing on the ground, performing a roll to disperse the momentum, "Alright go for it Teayre. One pounce and the giant mass of blubber has leapt from the ground and Teayre watched in slow motion as the oversized creature landed on Calrex knocking him to the ground. Her feet moved as if they had a mind of their own, Teayre had rushed over and grabbed Calrex’s hand and was pulling him out from underneath the Frog. As she pulled him up Teayre scooped up the grand blade and passed it to him. “Cal… Let’s do this.†Turning her back to him she set her shoulders as she stepped towards the frog. Calrex 0 Posted June 17, 2015 #32 Report Share Posted June 17, 2015 ID: 20175 Battle Dice: 10 (+2 Damage) Loot Dice: 17 (Search and Detect +2 / Item +1) = 20 As the frog landed and knocked Calrex back the Grand Chariot's Thorns ability activated once again, pelting the frog with chain shards before Teayre helped him back to his feet, "Yeah, time to put Kermit here down for good." The frog leapt back as it tried to go back towards the wall, but before it could coil its muscles to do so Calrex was already in front of it, the Grand Blade sheathed partially into its scabbard. He was in his modified iaido stance, and it was easy to tell what was about to happen. He used his <<Sprint>> ability to quickly dash underneath the frog as he delivered a swift uppercut with his sword hand, using the hand guard of his sword like an improvised brass knuckle as he launched the frog upwards. While the frog was reaching the apex of its ascent Calrex leapt up, his sword alight with a light blue hue as he kicked off the wall, landing on top of the frog before he jammed the Grand Blade into the frog's head down to the handle. While the monster began to fall back down Calrex brought his sword arm back, his hand aglow with the <<Martial Arts>> ability as he delivered a pierce punch to the back end of the Grand Blade, the force accelerating the frog back towards the pool underneath. With another punch the Grand Blade was sent through the creature, impaling into the ground as the frog fell into the lake. Before Calrex could go into the water with the frog he leapt off, landing on the ground as he retrieved his sword while sliding past, ending his movement with a three step jog, "Alright, that's done." Looking around Teayre’s head snapped back to the wall furthest away from them as it began to crumble revealing a set of stairs spiralling upwards. “I guess that’s our way out Cal…†Flicking her katana to the side, removing all the grease from the battle from it Teayre sheathes it before running towards the stairs and starting to head up them.
