Hikoru watches and admires the efficiency of how Zaz fought, it was a new technique, and he liked it. He would probably never use it, but it was still fun to watch and learn. Hikoru focused back onto the batttle and charged for the Troll, hoping to take some more damage!

Hikoru took a gash out of the Trolls arm, feeling happy as he landed yet another blow. He brushed the stray red pixels off his blade, making sure it was ready in case Zaz didn't finish him off.

Hikoru had caught another lucky break and was able to hit the troll and thanks to his efforts the troll was nearly dead. His life bar was just two tiny ticks from being completely drained. Azazel decided to end it and so she moved in a drove her rapier straight through the troll’s middle. It tried to smack her with its club, but the mob shattered into a million red shards and they dispersed. When she looked to see what the thing had dropped, she found nothing but a single material.

 

“Well that sucks!†she sighed, “Maybe there’s a treasure box around here. This would be a good hiding spot for one. If not we could go find another one of these suckers and see if it’s got anything on it. We’re both in good shape as far as health, so it’s your call.†She told Hikoru and smiled.

Hikoru smiled as he sheathed his blade, his Poker face fading now that the fighting was over

"It doesn't really matter to me, so its up to you." He said as he sat on the ground to rest. He was tired, but she seemed to want to keep going, so he decided to let her have fun. Besides, The more materials he got, the more things he could make in his shop or give to the Guild.

Anna plopped down into the grass taking a momentary break. She yawned and stretched out staring up into the misty tree line. She picked her head up and saw the boy standing around. “Ummm… you’re the one with the magic toy, so why don’t you and your little friend go looking for a treasure chest.†She said playfully, and shooed the boy dismissively.

 

 â€œCall me if you find one. If it’s a trap, you’ll need my help dealing with it.â€

Hikoru heard Zaz and he got up, not going to complain. He had never heard of treasure chests before though, so he hoped that he would be able to get lucky enough on the first try.

Hikoru looked and saw a glimpse of golden in the corner of his eye. He went over and found a golden box inside of a tree stump. He looked in shock as Zaz was right. This was a good place for a treasure chest

"Uh, Zaz.... You might wanna see this...." He said as he motioned for her to come to him

“What?†Zaz said as she hopped up and followed the sound of the boy’s voice.  She found him standing near a tall tree. Her eyes followed down to where the boy was looking and sure enough, there was a treasure box. “You’ve got to be [censored] kidding me!†Anna said clapping her hands together. “That damn plushie of yours is magical!†It was imbued with Satan’s (her nickname for Ariel) magic but she had no idea the woman’s juju was so powerful.

 

“So do you want to open it? You’re the one with the lucky toy so you should probably do it,†She said. She kept her rapier at the ready just in case the damn box came alive like the last time she found one.

Hikoru nodded as he readied his weapon as well, preparing for the worst as he looked inside the Golden crate

Hikoru grabbed the few items that were in it, when it suddenly exploded into bits in front of his face. Hikoru was thrown back onto the ground. He looked and only got 40 col and 1 Mat. Hikoru sighed and got up

"We got lucky, but not lucky enough..." He said as he brushed off the dirt

Zaz jumped when the box exploded. That was not what she was expecting. It was a lucky thing the boy was not seriously hurt. “Are you alright kiddo?†She said as she went over to the boy and wiped his face as she laughed. “He seemed alright enough and she patted the boy on the back. “You look like you’re mostly intact.†She stood and then collected the goods the box left behind.

 

 â€œHere… you take them it was you and your magic plushie that found them anyway and you were the one who took that hit so this is totally yours.†She placed the items in his hand. “Can you stand? Do you want to go some more or are you done?†she asked. As much as she wanted to find him something good for his shop, she thought he might be done for the day. “If we’re done…. We could grab some lunch. It’ll be my treat.†She offered.

Hikoru got up and smiled as nodded as he accepted the items. He wished he could do more, but he was pretty tired, and he was getting hungry as well.

"I am getting a bit tired.... Lunch sounds good. Why don't we do that?" He asked as he put the item In his pack. He sighed and fell to the ground, Relaxing as he took a break from the fighting and adventuring.

“Lunch it is,†she clapped and offered Hikoru a hand to help him up.  She was feeling a bit worn and a meal and a drink sounded like a good way to wrap up an adventure.
