Unfortunately for her, her hopes did not come true, and it missed by a massive margin, almost hitting Lowenthal by mistake. "My apologies, how is this thing so hard to spit!" her frustrated voice going more and more into thick French accent. Lowenthal said, grateful he wasn't stabbed. He looked at the boar, and stabbed at it with his kunai. Lowenthal's attack hit, and he jumped back to stand beside Claire. "There, now it should move slower." He said, to Claire. "You can hit it now for sure." He beamed at her. The blade came up, and then flew out of her hand; spinning threw the air for a bit before resting a few feet away from her, planted firmly in the glass. Lowenthal had seen that this had gone on too long. Lowenthal ran forward and struck the boar with his Kunai. The boar evaporated into blue crystals in defeat. Lowenthal quickly rejected the rewards and sent them to Claire, as discretely as possible. He didn't need the mats, or the Col. Lowenthal walked over to Claire and sheathed his dagger. He held a hand out to Claire. "C'mon, let's take a break. No sense running yourself ragged." Lowenthal said, trying his best to not coddle her like a child. Khaosclaire 0 Posted May 27, 2015 #25 Report Share Posted May 27, 2015 Claire let out a disappointed sigh of exacerbated relief; didn't feel good to feel like she had basically lost all sense of worth at the game, but to do it in front of somebody else. She looked and saw a loot menu in front of her, hitting the accept button without really looking at it first, seeing that she got all of Lownthal's rewards as well. She was not too proud to decline his hand for help off of the ground, face looking away from his in a mixture of shame and self pity, before getting herself back together. "A short break, then I will destroy one of these pigs! And I'll do it in half the time!" She said proudly, holding her head high as she walked over to her blade, digging it out of the ground and whipping it off on her mostly worthless armor. He was relieved to see that Claire hadn't completely given up, and it seemed she was more then ready to go boar slaying again. He smiled at her, as the light overhead cast it's light on her blonde hair. Lowenthal blushed and quickly looked away to compose himself. It's only a girl, not like you haven't seen them before. He thought to himself. "Well, what do you want to do now? We could attack another boar, or we could go get a drink or two?" Lowenthal said, again trying his best to not come on to hard. I really need to work on my fighting skills myself, he said to himself with a sigh. As the boar struck the man in the leg, Jomei sat up and grabbed at his rapier. He figured the other guy was a lot stronger than he was, but anyone could get themselves killed easily in this world, so he was ready to jump in to save him. Luckily, the man was alright and was able to finish off the beast. Just before that, however, the girls sword went soaring through the air. Jomei watched as it went up in the air, and then grunted as he noticed something important; the sword was flying in his direction. He moved back on the wagon, only to have it stick in the ground a couple feet away from his position. He sighed a sigh of relief. "Thank God" he said. As the girl removed the sword from the ground, she did not even notice him; she seemed to be too embarrassed by her action, but also determined to do better next time. As she walked away back towards the group, Jomei decided he didn't just want to sit around anymore, and followed after her. As he neared the two who had now met back up, he let out a soft clap. Khaosclaire 0 Posted May 27, 2015 #28 Report Share Posted May 27, 2015 "I suppose we could sit down and talk about our lives and really get to know each oth- Oh-ho, another strong warrior enters the field~" She said, looking back at the new comer before looking back to Lowenthal, "Guess you won't get that chance to get to know me better until a later date- such a shame~" Those last few words were added in with an extra twist, and she chuckled before waving back to the third on the field, before shooting him a Party invite. Left hand resting on the weapon hilt she held out a hand to the new arrival and greeted him, welcoming to their little combat soirée. He saw her smile back, and he got a message. He sighed a big sigh of relief. "I didn't expect anything good to happen. If I did that all the time, I'd be a sad sack." He turned to the guy who was a little bit further away and nodded. He noticed the kind, but what-are-you-doing look on the man's face, and he scratched the back of his head. "o'I don't meant to interrupt anything, o'I just get bored of sitting and watching all the time. Felt like meeting some new people for a change." He had almost forgotten about the small box floating in front of him, he looked down and accepted the party invite. She turned back to look at the now slightly disappointed man- she had called it right, a flirt to the core, and this guy came up, blocking him from going any farther forwards. "And it's a pleasure to meet you too, Jomei." Lowenthal said, introducing himself. "I'm lowenthal, Madame Claire's escort. It would seem." He said laughing. He lookedaround and saw another boar had spawned. "Ah, here we go. I'll initiate. You guys follow." He said, drawing his kunai and attacking the boar. With that, he unsheathed his rapier and equipped his shield. He held his sword above his head, the point toward the boar, and his shield in front of him. He charged forward to strike the boar. And it hit! She felt the talwar dig deep into the already damaged boar, feeling he blade take hold as she slid past it, grateful to have not messed up again, perhaps it was just bad luck before? With a laugh she side stepped to get into a triangle surrounding the boar, maybe just one boar would be too easy for the group? This is going way easier then before. He thought. "Nice hit Claire. Much better then the other one!" He said readying his dagger.It also seemed the Jomei had been doing this before. Good. Lowenthal reached out, and stabbed the confused boar damaging it even further. The boat stumbled and nearly fell over. Poor thing was on it's last legs, the boar let out a squeal that forced lowental to move back a few steps. "Gah! The hell?" When lowenthal looked he saw that the boar had a family apparently and that they were now jumping in. There was 2 piglets, and a much larger boar now. "Everyone, be careful. The big one looks like trouble." he said, reading his dagger. "This new sword really is working wonders" He looked back up when he heard the squeal of the one boar, and he readied himself. "Oh boy" he said to himself as he saw the other ones charging in. He held his shield out in front of him. "Here goes nothing" He braced himself for the piglet that was charging at him. A small creature it was, but not one to be taken lightly. 17520 BD: 6(+1)=7 Hit! Dmg: 3 Jomei went to stab the piglet, but miscalculated how small it was, so he missed. The piglet went to chomp at him, and Jomei caught its teeth in his rapier. After a short struggle, he flipped the sword over, carrying the beast into the ground behind him. And narrowly missed the beast by a hair; alright so there had to be something wrong with this weapon or something! The boar turned quickly, and lowenthal was able to back away fast enough. "Take it nice and slow, don't rush." Lowenthal said, not wanting his team members to die. "Oi! You guys alright" He pulls te rapier out of the diminishing piglets body and turns around to face the others, he attempts to get the Mother Boar by bashing his sword against his shield. "Oi! Ugly! Come get yer dinner!" And it sunk into it; taking the boar's health to zero and watching it shatter with a squeal. "Je l'ai fait! Finally downed it! I'm on the other little squealer!" She said with a victorious tone, quickly clicking accept as she jetted through the loot screen from her kill.
