Don't get cocky this time. She told herself as the giant pig snorted grouchily at her from its position about ten meters away from her. Thorrissia twirled her sword in hand, trying to look somewhat impressive in front of the boar, but the monster was clearly unfazed by this display and squealed temperamentally at her before once again starting to charge. The young warrior headed straight on the collision force, having no intention of letting herself get damaged this time, a plan formulating through her mind as the little cogs and neurones in her brain began to whir. As the massive snarling beast thundered towards her, Thorry slid quickly to the right, allowing her sword to slice a nasty gash across the boar's side. A horrified skree crackled through the atmosphere that shook the girl off balance a little. I never knew bacon could scream. She reasoned with slight alarm as the pig began to charge at her once more. This time the brunette was faster though, and managed to dodge out of the way of the beasts close passing tusks. If it had been pissed before, now the monster was seriously out for blood. Crap. Not good. Thorrissia cursed as the monster thundered purposefully towards her, ready for one seriously nasty headbutt. The girl attempted a haphazard swing with her weapon, but the blade of dreams passed clean over the big pig's head, nowhere near a decent hit. "Really not good!" Thorry shouted as she stumbled from the badly aimed attack, feeling a nasty tingling sensation as the boar's tusks raked across her back. It's ok, your HP is higher than this guy. Thorrissia 0 Posted July 6, 2015 Author #23 Report Share Posted July 6, 2015 ID: 22857 BD: 2 MD: 8 Unfortunately Thorrissia was still unbalanced from the boar's previous attack when it rounded on her again, and the teen's strike went way off course, slashing a chunk of innocent dirt from out of the grass. The monster seemed to almost smile with trumph as it began to charge towards her once again, tusks outstretched and ready for the hit. The girl attempted to dodge out of the way by jumping to the side, but it appeared the beast was learning. The boar changed course, slashing it's nasty sharp tusk across her ankle and almost knocking the young warrior to the ground. Thorry yelped in surprise, stumbling backwards from the hit. Her stamina had clearly increased from levelling, although it appeared her accuracy was still just as unreliable. Once again, her sword hacked up earth instead of boar meat. "Ragh!" The girl spat furiously into the dirt, feeling extremely irritated in her lack of success. Remind me to get the accuracy skill when I get the chance. She told herself bitterly as the boar tried to spear her with one of it's nasty little tusks. Thorry leaped nimbly out of it's reach this time though, and landed sure footed upon the grass instead of bashing into the dirt. Her sword was drawn, her stance was right. Everything seemed well. That was until she tripped over her own foot and landed with a muddy splat into the dirt, face down. "Blurgh!" The girl cried in alarm, flailing in the murk like a spazing toad, limbs everywhere. The boar squealed in delight, clearly happy with it's newfound luck and began to run at her, ducking it's head into a charge and fuming at its opponent full steam ahead. Thorrissia just barely had time to roll out of the way and even then the boar's tusks only just missed slicing her to ribbons. Neither of them seemed to be able to land a hit on one another. Thorrissia once again attempted to stab her attacker, but the once again the unplanned trip into the muck had left her dazed enough that her aim was far from two. The pig seemed rather unhappy about its attacker trying to rather brutally stab it in the side, and squealed furiously as the girl managed to once again evade the onslaught of it's thick sharp tusks. "Well come on! I don't have all day!" Thorrissia snapped at the monster, making a wild unimpressed arm gesture. The sudden motion seemed to kick start the animal back into action. The giant pig squealed and began to charge viciously in her direction. And so the dance went on. This time Thorry had no intention of loosing. The girl slashed her gleaming red sword through the giant pigs exposed hide and danced easily out of the way of its tusks, feeling rather proud of herself. Sure enough, her aim was true and the girl's weapon passed clean through the monster's body, completely obliterating it. "Yeah! I could get used to this new sword." She exclaimed happily, inspecting her blade with curiosity. She'd have to buy a new one soon enough sadly, because in order to progress, you needed better equipment, but this thing had done some good for her today. Time to turn in and head back.
