[PP-F4] << Avalanche >>

A grin split Lessa's cold, chapped lips. "There you go!" she shouted to the two women, pride washing over her. It had taken some time for them to build up a head of steam, but Thorrissia and Lancelot were finally landing their blows, and dealing some serious damage. The blonde knew from experience that, sometimes, it just took a while to find the right flow. From the looks of it, these girls had finally found that. She was so thankful that she had not stepped in sooner.

Avalanche, understandably, was less thrilled by the players' newfound skills. His blue eyes flashed as it looked from one player to the other. They were so small. So insignificant. How did they continue to not only dodge his attacks, but land their own? The beast took two lumbering steps closer to Thorrissia, the player who had chipped the largest chunk of his health bar away. With a low, guttural growl, he reached for her. Yet again, she managed to outsmart him, and his fist found only the snowy ground.

((Thorry rolled a 9, so the critical made her generate 2 hate. :) ))

Avalanche's oversized fist missed her by inches. Thorrissia just barely avoided a severely icy pummelling by dodging desperately to the right, skidding skilfully out of the way whilst managing to keep her footing. It was incredible how fast the blocky ice creature could move so fast, his stocky body swinging with impossible momentum for his size thanks to Sword Art's ignoring of the laws of physics. As Avalanche's attention turned away from his latest prey for a moment, it gave Thorry a chance to focus and attempt to come up with a plan. The brunette narrowed her stormy green eyes into intensely focussed slits burning with concentration. After a moment the young warrior spotted another weakness in the beasts attack patterns.

No time to loose. Thorrissia was determined to keep their lucky streak going. She sprinted artfully through Avalanche's pendulum like arm movements, holding her sword out in an attempt to snag across one of its legs. Her blade fell short by a hairs width and the girl was left skidding away from the creature unharmed, but no closer to beating it. "Lancelot, it's on you again!" Thorry called out to her battle partner, sounding very encouraging.

Thorrissia: 23/23
Lancelot: 19/19
