[PP-F10] Through the Depths of Madness <<Wail of the Banshee>> (Ssendom + Oikawa)

Ssendom warped into the town of Yomi on the tenth floor for the very first time he had been here, in fact he had traveled to the eleventh floor a few times to prepare for the floor boss and get acclimated to the floor. To be truthful he had been eager to traverse Tartarus for quite awhile and was actually quite giddy to go, he heard many rumors about a Banshee boss that was very difficult to battle but hadn't heard of anyone who actually cleared it. Thus standing at the edge of the Teleportation gate in Yomi battle ready with his necklace dangling outside his armor with the S â™¥ M etched into it. He gripped his necklace piece in his hand then grinned wide, he awaited for his closest ally to reach the floor in peak fighting condition, "Banshee, you done existed for the wrong people to come and annihilate you." He chuckled as he stated, his grin as near evil as ever.

Darkness awaited the young man as he stepped from the gate. Although he knew it was coming, it seemed to get darker every time. Looking to his left, he spotted one of his most trusted brigadiers, Ssendom. Although I guess one could say he was rumored to become a Guardian now due to recent happenings but that was besides the point. In the blonde's eye, Dom will always be a brigadier whether he brandishes the emblem or not. Moving towards, a short wave motioned from his hand attempted to get the player's attention. "Dom, you ready for this? Last I checked, we will have been the first people to conquer this quest. Let's make history my friend."

Dom heard the familiar voice of a certain Blonde Blacksmith causing his grin to get all the more wicked, "Oh yeah, lets make history Oikawa. Since kids these days focus more on deleting it, makes it rare to know someone will be making history instead." He stretched in his armor his eyes glowing bright green automatically since his Night Vision was always active. Ssendom started walking towards the exit of the town, he didn't even try to look at any of the buildings or shops that rest in this town he had a goal in mind and was going forth with it.

 

Upon exiting the town his eye catches a tent on his right, he could see the shop owner barely with a familiar pink hair. But he shrugged then turned his head forward and continued his walk, "So what's the plan going forward with this boss Oikawa?" He asked wanting to be completely and fully prepared when they reached the Banshee boss. While they walked in quick stride he dropped his menu HUD to look over all of his equipment, he thought for a second then picked up his Dusk Reaver and placed it into his inventory causing it to disappear in particles. He scroll down the inventory list a little bit then selected his Gorehowl causing a larger more full massively serrated blade to form through particles into his hand, his scabbard on his back changed shape, size, and style to accommodate his new blade to which he sheathed.

"Agreed my Dreadnought. Let's carve a path only those worthy of it can follow." Allowing Dom to take the lead, Oikawa followed behind. His cape fluttered behind, a now staple item of his attire. The city and shops passed by like a blur as the pounded through the streets. The had an objective and wished to reach it as soon as possible. As they continued, Dom raised a question. Mulling it over, Oikawa matched his pace and replied. "The game plan. Word is, there are a couple minions who spawn when your're near around the queen, though they are fairly weak. Then there's the Banshee herself. Plan? Eradicate her lackeys as quickly as possible. Then we need to consume whatever goods we have before taking her on. I had those biscuits and gravy crafted for a reason. She has an attack that induces paralysis and this food item you made me will alleviate that effect up to 3 times. So More or less treat her like the ants on Floor 11."

Ssendom began to laugh out loud when Oikawa told him to treat these monsters like the Ant Men of floor eleven, "I got it, smash their faces and cleave their heads. We'll leave the floor stained in red." He rhymed with a grin growing wider and wider. Ssendom was getting more hyped about this fight knowing that the monster had a skill to try and stop him, it reminded him of his fight against Meokka. Even though she had the ability to stop him in his tracks it wasn't enough to stop him completely, he knew what he was going to do to the Banshee and was ready to roll.

 

Upon reaching the entrance to Tartarus he noticed a woman with wry black hair and a dirty dress stood there, she turned her head to see the well armored man and the nicely dressed blonde walking towards her direction. She immediately walked up to them, "Please you must help me!" She exclaimed in a weak willed voice, "The Banshee in there, s-she killed my Husband. On him is 10,000 col which I will gladly give you to kill the witch." He dropped to her knee's begging with tears streaming down the sides of her face making her act convincing.

 

Ssendom grinned at the woman, "Well what impeccable timing, it was the exact reason why we came here. Was to hunt a Banshee, isn't it your lucky day lady." He chuckled to the woman stating as the quest screen popped up infront of him to accept the quest <<Wail of the Banshee>> he pressed on the blue circle causing the woman to continuously say thank you, but Ssendom already begun to ignore her existence. He felt something fishy about the woman but didn't make a single word of it.

As they traversed into Tartarus a bit not exchanging much in the way of words, he slows himself to a halt putting his hand infront of Oikawa's with a finger pointing to the left of them. "Well that was easy to find the Banshee's room. Lets take a second to check our equipment and get ready for combat." He stated as he dropped his menu HUD to over look everything to make sure he was completely ready for this battle.

The trip was quick to say the least. After Dom chit chatted with an NPC regarding the quest they had been looking for, the duo then descended down to Tartarus. A void of sorts filled with nasty creatures of the tenth floor. In addition to the already pitch black scenery, the place gave off an eerie spooky feeling that just rubbed the blonde the wrong way. Dom had taken the lead once more. Their search would be for the room in which the lady's husband was trapped, also know as the the Banshee Boss room. As he he attempted to pierce through the darkness his eyes, a hand was placed before him causing Oikawa to come to an abrupt halt. Looking to where Dom was gesturing, Oikawa spotted a few zombie guards moving along the inside of the building. 

 

Flicking open his HUD, Oikawa selected the his gear and stepped to the jail cell like door. Nodding to Dom he stepped in and initiated the combat. Targeting the first guardian to turn around, Oikawa unsheathed his trusty Kyuketsuki, activated [Charge] and sent it spiraling towards the Mob. The hit was spot on on as he sent the guard tumbling backwards. A malevolent grin crossed his face as he realized that these mobs were light weight for him and Dom.

Ssendom watched as Oikawa entered the fray instantly, "Well you're taking away what I do-" He stops himself grinning wide and greedily, "Rush into the battle first." He finished blitzing forward. Ssendom ripped Gorehowl out of it's scabbard and cleaved it across the third Zombie, putting himself between Oikawa and two of the Zombies so he wouldn't have to take the attack from all of them. "This fight is already seeming more fun than the others we've been apart of... Pan is one we can name already." He laughed about how easy that boss was to battle, He lifted his heavier overly serrated weapon with his grin wouldn't dissipate, he was having too much fun thinking about how this fight was going to go. This battle was in his advantage due to his Night Vision being active the entire time.

"Pan was a joke haha. I have a hard time believing anyone had trouble with that Field Boss to be completely honest," Oikawa shouted in response. Dom had just as quickly engaged in battle as the blonde. Taking a swing at the third zombie, the dreadnought cleaved into the Mob and dealt a nice chunk of damage. "Solid hit Dom. Keep it up." Focusing on the Mobs before him,  Oikawa needed to choose which of the two undead would be the victim of his next attack. With a target in mind, the blonde sprung forward and had to come to a a halt as both zombies directed an attack at him. Deflecting the fists with his shield, he batted zombie number two away and impaled zombie number one once again. Looking over, he caught a glimpse of both of Dom's Mobs attacking him as well. While the fourth managed to land a hit, it didn't seem to faze him in the least.

Ssendom was struck on the shoulder by one of the Zombie Guardians, all he did was laugh at the creature. "What a pitiful attack, and they said this was supposed to be a difficult fight. These things are about as strong as rabbit." He openly mocked them, "They're making Pan seem difficult at this rate." He continued with his mocking. After which he swung his sword out, but the zombie barely dodged it. At that moment Ssendom's blade began to glow black giving him a second chance to move his blade hitting the zombie with a strong enough force to knock it down, "Gotta love concentration when they barely manage to dodge an attack. If only that Gemini were stronger I woulda had some fun."

"Let's just dispose of th-" His sentence was cut short as the first zombie lunged forward in an attempt to hack at him, Side stepping the blow, Oikawa thrust his rapier through it's gut before pushing it aside. The Mob burst into crystals as it dropped to the floor. Enraged, zombie numero dos sped forward and attacked. Deflecting the swipe with his shield, the blonde jumped back. "Well there goes one haha. Let's make this quick Dom. Pan was a much better challenge than this haha." Glancing at Dom's bout, Oikawa took note of both the his Mobs working together as they both landed decent hits on him. However, the damage was still minimal.

Both zombies got a sure hit on Ssendom, but the man didn't waver or budge from the attack. He just stared at them like they were pathetic helpless little creatures. To most these Zombie's would be formidable foes, but to Dom and Oink they were but mere bumps along the road to the hill that stood after them. He turned his head while cleaving his blade into the zombie he had been striking all these times making it look absolutely effortlessly, he saw as Oikawa had dispatched one of his Zombies already. "Hey Oikawa, once you kill that other one go ahead and charge headlong at the boss. I'm still breaking in my new greatsword and am curious it's full capabilities." He called out to his trusty teammate before turning his head back to the Zombies, "Bring it you worthless heathens!" He mocked them with a vicious grin.

Oikawa nodded and chuckled as he stepped to his last Mob. "Noted. The Banshee has a rude awakening in her midst." His rapier glinted against the light of the flames, as Oikawa prepared another strike. He watched carefully as the guardian growled and lunged forward. The attack coming on  bit faster than the blonde had anticipated. The blade cut into the blonde's shoulder as he attempted to block it away. The pain and damage was pitiful but the attack was solid nonetheless. Avoiding another strike, the blonde backed away and placed some distance between them. Oikawa could hear metal clashing behind him, and indication that Dom was wrecking his opponent's or he was being hit and it wasn't doing jack. Regardless, Dom won't be defeated by the Mobs.
