About: History/personality
Rose was born in Florida but moved with her family to Oregon at age five. She lived in a house that her father had bought in a well liked neighborhood and had bought her the Nerve Gear and SAO for her 14 birthday, the next day she played it and that was the day where everyone had become trapped.

 

Rose, in real life, has a rare syndrome called golden Har which causes some of her features to not develop, such as her right ear which is missing, the right side of her jaw which is also missing and her right eye is blind. 

 

Because of her many doctors visits and surgeries, she's very open about her body if she knows that it will help with her health. Her mother and her have a very good relationship, Rose considers her mother as one of her best friends. Because of her being separated from her family so suddenly, she often thinks back on her life in the real world, and yearns to go back and see her mother and father again.

 

Virtues:

Emotionally controlled- (This can be seen as both good and bad so I'm putting it twice.) Rose has the ability to control her emotions very well in serious and stressful situations. This helps her to be able to function under pressure and most of the time, around other people. This also helps her to hide her emotions well so that others can not use them against her.

Protective- Rose is very protective of her friends and loved ones, she cares for there well being and gives them advice when needed. Sometimes she can be a bit too protective and worries about them constantly. She even says 'Don't Die.' When people who are close to her leave, it was a habit she had in the real world as well. 

 

Fun loving- Despite being a bit self-conscious about her looks and speech pattern, Rose is a person who enjoys having a good time, of course some don't agree with what she labels 'a good time,' which is basically staying in her house and playing video games, along with Roleplaying and sewing. 

Flaws:

Self-conscious- Rose is a self-conscious person, she's not amazing with interacting with others and isn't really proud of her looks. Along with that, she is self-conscious about battling around other people, she worries that they'll think that she's weak and unhelpful. 

Emotionally controlled- Rose can control her emotions very well, sometimes it even happens automatically, for example in the situation where she would be sad. Rose does not cry easily, which gives off a emotionless attitude to others sometimes. Along with that, she doesn't show an overly amount of emotion during other things, such as when's she's happy, angry, and scared. 

 

Stubborn- Rose can be very stubborn when she wants to be. When debating different views and opinions, she fights for hers and will most likely dismiss views that don't have significant backup. Along with this, she doesn't like to do things incorrectly and works hard, even to the point of exhaustion, to better her skills and smarts.

Mistrusting- Rose does not trust others easily and it takes awhile to earn her trust. This steams from the knowledge of Player Killers in the game of SAO, which causes Rose to worry about becoming friends with one and ultimately dying in the end.
