I'm sixteen right now but I'm going to turn seventeen in about, she counted on her fingers and said the months in her head, three months. Akumu sat down on the bench next to Ryu and equipped her blood red cloak. Do you want to get something to eat? It's getting late so we'll probably get it as dinner. I tried to laugh it off but there was no way i could just make up an excuse for that happening. Sure...ill pay....do you have a place you prefer to go to when you get hungry? i asked and offered at the same time. I wasnt sure what else i could do since i was having so much fun that i didnt want it to end...i wanted to be near her but i wasnt sure what this meant but i wasnt sure about any of the feelings inside my chest, so i just waited for her to reply to my question Link to post Share on other sites

I hit the accept button and stood up offering her my hand. Take my hand...ill escort you to a special place...a friend of mine set up a cafe like place and always welcomes me and guests with open arms...we can go there i suggested waiting for a reply from her. When he offered his hand Akumu kind of just stared at his hand for a minute because she didn't know what to do until he said "take my hand..." Akumu accepted his offer and grabbed his hand. It wasnt the fanciest place but it was definitely a quick favorite to most people. As i opened that door Isaacs face lit up with the utmost excitement and his wife Donna came over and hugged me. Its been a while...hows life been treating you he asked me Oh ya know, same old same old Ice, ya know the whole deal i replied to him I hear ya, i hear ya....whose the cute one youve got walking around with you? Come to introduce me to your new girlfriend he asked me mostly joking. I looked down and remembered i was still holding her hand. i released her hand for a moment to wave him off. No no...nothing like that...though i would like to introduce you to Akumu...she just recently became a friend of mine and we kinda got hungry so...i figured we'd stop here to eat. i said trying to come off as innocent Hehe...well alright then, just tell Donna whatcha want and we'll whip it up back here with easy,...on the house tonight he said with a smile, but i could see through his smile all the doubt he had in my explanation Link to post Share on other sites

A man walked up to them and started talking to Ryu. She put on her hood upon meeting a new person. When the "girlfriend" bomb was dropped Akumu's face glow bright red but she hid it under her hood. She didn't know how Ryu felt about the matter, neither did she. Akumu hadn't really thought anything of Ryu because of the lack of social incline on the past before SAO. Akumu peeked under her hood to see Ryu's reaction. He simply stated Akumu was a friend. They walked to a table near the back windows. Akumu sat on the opposite side of Ryu and removed her hood. When she took off her hood her long hair fell out off her shoulders. Since you know what tastes good you can order for me. She said with a smile. Link to post Share on other sites

I knew she just met me but i started to like her more and more. It wasnt typical for me to willingly enter social situations. It all depends on what you like to eat, this man is a creative genius i said slightly excited. I looked down at her and wasnt sure what to think. We sat down and i realized my mistake was how i denied it. Truth was...i liked her, but i wasnt sure what i was supposed to do about it. I kinda just let it slide for now and focused on what was going on right now. i placed a hand on her gently and told her everything is ok now, and reassured her that i would be her friend till the end. I looked her over, she was cute, at least in his sense of the word cute. Yeah she was very nice and seemed to take interest in him but there was nothing he could talk about in this moment...except. My mother is okay but my dad barely knows i exist. I don't really have anything to say about them but let me tell you this, I will not give up on this "game" so easy, not for them, but for me. Look...i know you are scared to show any form of emotions to anyone....dont worry...i was there...in school i was out of my mind...i didnt do anything but stare at the blackboard and wonder what lifes meaning really was...i know what its like to not trust and to hate everything.....i was there Akumu...i dont want you to be scared anymore...show me the emotions youve never shown anyone...if there is anyone in this dumb little game you can trust forever...its me...you will never be alone again...i wont let you....i wont let either of us perish over something so dumb as this game...we can beat it....i know we can.... i finished my "rant" and then looked to her...i wasnt sure what to expect...but i hoped i had at least gotten to her. She watched the sushi tray appear on their table. Akumu eyed the California rolls with crushed crab, avocado, and cucumber, her favorite. I didnt want to just leave here there but i wasnt sure staying was such a good idea either. I pushed the plate towards her. Its all yours i said looking away from her and the table and more towards the door. It was different having someone care for you so much as to want to beat a game for you. Although it didn't make her lose her appetite it did make her very confused. Ryu's constant facial changes confused Akumu, she couldn't figure out what was going on either. She picked up her chopsticks and ate the California rolls quickly, but lady like. Akumu finished the plate of sushi in minutes and when she looked up from her plate Ryu was still having a staring contest with the door. I think we should go now Akumu said, it was obvious he wanted to leave ten minutes ago. He was such a gentleman to wait for her to eat. The rain cloud from before came back, Akumu now had a stomach ache from so much food that Ryu didn't eat. Link to post Share on other sites

I stood up and waited outside for her seeing as she wasnt finished eating. I was sorry that it had to end that way. I realized it was getting close to night time and we were completely out in the open. I looked to Akumu who seem a little "sick" from the sushi. So...where shall we sleep tonight...or are you going to vanish and find me later? i asked unsure of what the plans were, or ever would be. How about we go together...because...i dont want my friend to disappear on my so suddenly... i said to her If she even is my friend i thought to myself. I let go of her hand and i walked off but no where towards an inn, no i took off in the opposite direction. A tear rolled down her cheek as she walked outside. Actual rain cloud covered the sky and poured down on her. Akumu put her hood on again and shuffled down the path with hot tears rolling down her cheeks. The only friend I made here...has just left. Akumu thought to herself. She didn't care anymore that she wasn't in an actual town either. She made her way into a clearing and resting against a tree. Akumu watched the lights in the town far away slowly go off one by one. RyujinSeaLord 0 Posted July 9, 2014 #40 Report Share Posted July 9, 2014 (OOC: there its done silly) I walked up to her sleeping body and i picked her up and ran her back to an inn that was closer than she thought. I went back to look for her but she had disappeared. I had went "home" to prepare her a spot and when i came back she was gone. I rushed her back to my alley way and carried her down into a cellar grate. Walking down the path with her was tough but i managed to get her back to my resting place and placed her on the bed as i sat on the floor drying off my clothing. I changed into my more pajama-isc clothing, which was just a black shirt and black pants. but i hung up the rest to dry. Id have tried to dry hers but...that would be more trouble than its worth.
