[PP-F2] Row, Row, Fight the Power! <Breaking the Unbreakable> (Blue)

Recommended Posts

Greg goes at it again. There's not really much else to say. His thoughts are blank, focused only on the destruction of the rock in front of him. He definitely needs more accuracy later, so he can actually hit stuff reliably.

ID: 35274

BD 8: Hit!

This time, Greg managed to land a blow on the rock. Not a critical, but he hit it. A small amount of health was chipped off the rock. Greg's face was blank, but he managed to hit it, at least. Greg continued to mutter the same phrase as before. "Must... destroy... rock..."

Of course, Blue was far from pleased with his performance. Someone with his amount of accuracy and decent level should not be missing a still rock two times in a row. With a sigh, he decided that he would try his hardest to inflict damage upon the rock and maybe even a critical if he was lucky. Blue smirked before preparing to charge.

Indeed, Blue had charged and he was actually able to hit the rock with quite a bit of force. Unlucky that it was not a critical. Hm.... Well, at least I'm hitting the rock. He thought silently before standing back and allowing the other boy to have a go at the rock. We're almost half way there. He thought with optimism.

BD 8: Hit!

Greg's punch once again hits the rock. after the attack, though, he falls to the ground, tired out of his mind. He just... needed to rest for a bit, regain his composure. His thoughts now are focusing on getting some rest. If he didn't rest, he'd collapse. "So... tired..." he mumbles incoherently.

Blue sighed in exaggeration at the sign of boredom once again. How long will this take?! He shouted. It was almost night and yet, the rock was still standing high and tall at thirty health. Argh. He grumbled as he walked back so he could have a good charge at the gigantic, hard rock. Alright, let's go. He thought with a smile and a crack of the knuckles.

Blue stared at the rock, hoping he could inflict a critical with careful precision. He charged having wasted one solid minute and when he struck out at it, he was able to make contact. If only he was able to inflict a critical, it would be even better. However, at least they were making a bit of slow progress instead of making absolutely no damage.

Greg was simply too tired to act for a bit, and instead spent time recomposing himself. He'd gotten himself too worked up and burnt himself out, so he just lay there on the floor. "Too tired... need to rest..." Greg muttered. Once he recomposed himself, he would begin attacking the rock again. He felt bad about delaying the quest just laying there but he really was too tired to act.

Blue sighed as the other player decided to rest for a while. Well, I guess he does indeed have too little energy because of his level so it can't be helped. Blue thought as he directed his attention on the rock instead of the helpless player laying on the ground in front of him. Alright... Let's get another hit on this thing. Blue thought with a smirk.

With a yelp, Blue leaped forward with amazing speed and acceleration. However, as he attacked, he tripped on a rock and whether he hits the rock or not was decided upon one moment. Luckily, the trip wasn't massive and he was able to balance himself to prevent a fall. Next, he was able to strike the rock smack in the middle with his powerful fist. Woah, a massive, powerful, incredible one point of damage!!! He thought in extreme sarcasm at the toughtness of the rock.

Greg, after taking a moment to rest, managed to pull himself together. Thinking clearly, he moves towards the rock, making sure of his footing before launching an attack in its direction, focus evident in his eyes.

BD 2: Miss!

However, as he's approaching his foot hits a rock and he stumbles fowards, barely avoiding tripping but still missing his attack. Annoyance becomes evident on Greg's face.

Blue frowned as the player in front of him once again missed the rock and completely wasted the stamina that he was just able to obtain. Argh. He thought. Now it's going to be delayed even more. He decided that he would once more try and punch the rock so he could continue on the process and eventually destroy the rock. We're almost there. He thought... trying to have some positive optimism going on in his mind.

Blue stared at the rock, thinking about how to approach the gigantic piece of stone. Argh... What is the point of even thinking about this? Instead, he decided he would just charge at the rock and hopefully strike the hard stone. He charged up with fierceness and with a yell, he was able to strike the rock, dealing exactly one damage.

Greg wasn't giving up that easily. He WAS going to get the Martial Arts skill, dang it! How else would he incorporate the One-Handed Sword Art <Meteor Break> into his skillset? He wasn't planning on using a shield so he would much rather have access to the powerful Sword Art. Putting these thoughts aside for a moment, Greg lunges and attacks again, despite his fatigue!

BD 7: Hit!

Greg's punch hits the rock, subtracting another point of health. If Greg could sweat right now, he would definitely be sweating quite profusely.

Blue smiled. The boy in front of him was really trying his hardest in order to complete this task and currently, he was spending every last drop of his energy to accomplish his goals. The struggles are real. He thought with a hit of comical expression. Alright. The rock is down to twenty six. I can probably take it down to half with this attack. He thought with confidence.

However, this time, as he charged forward with fierceness and ruthless power, he managed to somehow mistake the wall of the cave for the rock and instead of punching the rock, he was only able to make contact with the wall to the right of the rock. Argh... He thought in stupidity before backing off to wait for the other player to strike the rock once more.

How long was it since he started the quest? Probably an hour at least, Greg pondered. And they were only halfway there. The rock was just above half hp. Once again, Greg approached the rock and attempted to punch it.

ID: 35513

BD 5: Failure!

Greg's punch hits the rock but does nothing. Greg grimaces as he withdraws his hand and begins taking deep breaths to make sure he doesn't tire out or get a cramp or something like that.

Blue wanted to speed up the process and having missed the last attack, he was determined to strike the rock fully and with even more power than he'd managed to muster last time. Blue's eyes brightened and with a smirk, he charged at the gigantic rock that was near invincible. He knew he would inflict damage... he could feel power surging through him.

With a yell, he was able to strike the rock dead-on. The contact was vital and he's managed to perfected it. As a result, he was able to double his damage and cut the health of the rock to just under half of its original health. Almost there. He thought, trying to keep the mood up as high as possible. Let's get some more critical.

Greg continues soldiering on despite being out of energy and kinda frustrated. He moves towards the rock, preparing to punch it once again!

ID: 35540 (I accidentally rolled 35539 under the wrong name. Ignore that.)

BD 1: Crit Fail.

Unfortunately he trips over his own feet, stumbles over, rolls for a bit and ends up headbutting the rock by accident, which dazes him. If this were a cartoon, he'd have the spiral-eyes effect right now to signify that he's dazed.

Blue was unable to keep himself from laughing out loud as the other boy managed to trip on his own foot. His laugh grew even louder as the guy managed to head butt the rock even more. "Woah. Do you have an extra skill that allows you to use your head as a weapon?" Blue asked sarcastically with a hint of humor before preparing to strike the rock.

Blue smiled before charged towards the rock. He knew that his abilities would not fail him and he was probably going to hit the rock. Besides, they'd already knocked the health of the rock down to less than half. That means we're almost there. He thought as he raised his fist to strike the rock. Indeed, just like he's anticipated, he was able to hit the rock and deal a solid damage.

Greg heard the tailor crack a joke. "Yeah, yeah, laugh it up. Just know that I'll probably do the same when you suffer a terrible stroke of bad luck." He deadpanned, before pulling himself together and attempting to once again hit the boulder.

Greg stumbles a bit, still a bit dazed from his previous headbutting the rock, causing his punch to go wide.

Blue smirked. "Gotta work on that accuracy." He said once more when the other player managed to miss the target completely once again. Blue sighed as he eyed the rock. He had full confidence that he was going to strike the rock with a clean fist and Blue smiled before taking a slow run up and then he started to pick up pace. Let's hit this. He thought.

Blue smirk grew even wider when he charged upon the rock and let his fist go wild. His fist was able to strike the rock cleanly with quite a bit of force and soon, he was able to deal another damage to the rock, bringing the party of two even closer to the target of destroying the rock. However, they were still far from completing the quest.

Greg sighed. Now his... ally? colleague? acquaintance? The hell if he knows. Aaanyway, the other player was sending snarky remarks his way as he kept failing to hit the rock. Frustrated, Greg says nothing, instead opting to, you guessed it, punch the rock.

ID: 35575.

BD 2: Fail.

Apparently history repeats itself, as Greg failed to hit the rock in the EXACT same way he failed the first time.

Blue sighed as the other player once again missed the target. I know he is low-leveled but this is quite bizarre. Eh~ I'll give him some slack. He thought with another sigh before looking up from the ground and preparing to strike the smooth stone which was blocking him from his destination. Alright... Let's see if this will work. He thought before preparing to charge.

Blue charged forward and made his way as fast as possible. Last several times, he tried to go with a slow approach but this time, he was going for a speedy attack with lots of momentum. Hopefully, physics work in this game as well. He thought with a smile before raising his fist and strike the stone. He'd managed to hit the stone straight up but he was unable to inflict a critical damage.

Greg sighed once again. This time in impatience. Just how long was this quest going to take?! Shaking these thoughts out of his head, Greg charged once again. His intentions should be obvious at this point- and that's to punch the rock.

ID: 35587.

BD 10: Super Critical! +2 Damage!

Greg's punch hits the rock, and hits it hard. A crack could almost be seen forming on the rock from that blow. The rock's health was now at just above a third of its max health.

Blue smiled. "I see. You've gotten a very nice critical attack." Blue said casually. "Now it's my turn to inflict one." He knew that it was high unlikely but all was possible in this world of SAO. He stared at the gigantic rock. It's taking a while......... But I should be able to obtain quite a bit of skill points by the end of all this patient punching.

Blue's smile turned into a menacing snare as he charged forward with the most force and intimidation he could manage to make appear. With a yell, he was able to leap high into the air and then manage to strike the rock dead center. His snare turned back into a smile when he heard a bit of cracking from the rock. "Seems like we're almost done." He said as he fell back onto the ground.
