[PP:F4] Essence of Steel (Mayuri & Life)

Blue light faded from a crimson haired figure as she spawned into the fourth floor. Striding to the edge of town Teayre flicks her finger down bringing up her pms and types one out quickly to Mayuri. As she waited to see if the girl replied Teayre sat down in the snow, a smile on her face as the coolness of the frozen water could be felt through her clothes. She’d was helping to for fill her customer’s order, instead of crafting a perfect item Teayre had only managed a rare,  and was now on her way to slay a phasing creature in order to upgrade the item for her client. The snow gently drifted down as Teayre lay there quietly listening to what was going on around her.

Mayuri had been curled up around Eric when a blip came from her HUD indicating that she’d received a message. The girl sighed as she rubbed her cheek against Life’s shoulder not wanting to bother checking her message. She decided that it might be something important, and so she opened it surprised to find that she’d gotten word from Teayre about improving the quality of her bracelet. “Come on…” she said shaking the half sleeping man, “Teayre wants to meet so she can fix my bracelet.” With that, Mai got up off the bed and got herself ready.

Shay and Eric found themselves back onto the snowy floor of level four. As they moved toward the quest area, Mai stopped Eric. “We should probably use this here. It wouldn’t be good if people found out, remember?” she said pulling the blood from her inventory and pricking her partner’s forearm with the crystal gently. Gently kissing the spot she poked, Mai grabbed Life’s hand and the pair were off once more. They reached the arranged meeting spot and found Teayre waiting for them. Shay waved at the firey little red upon approach.

 “Thank you for doing this,” Mai said when they finally reached their party companion.

 

Mai uses Blood of Champions on Life raising his health +40 Overhealth and +2 Damage.

Life stayed by Mai's side as they made their way to the fourth floor. She apparently needed to fix her bracelet or get it improved, he was more than happy to help her with it. The cold hit him, signalling they had arrived, Mai pulled out the blood of champions and used it on him before the others were around to see it like they had discussed before. "Yes, we should be good now" As they neared the player they wanted to meet Life made out the details of her quite fast. Mai thanked her and Life payed his respects by slightly bowing to her. "I don't believe this should be too difficult for us to do, It's nice to meet you" If the snow beast was anything like the one he fought last time, it should go down fairly quickly, last time he fought it though he was a lot weaker than what he was now. Life let the other two take the lead on the plan of action.

Teayre looked up when Mayuri appeared her flowery kimono swaying around her in the wind, looking up Teayre spotted someone she hadn’t really seen before. “Hey there, honestly it’s fine Mayuri I failed as a crafter so I need to make it up somehow, it shouldn’t be a problem the quest itself. Besides it’s some more xp for all of us as well.” The red head looked at Life and nodded in greeting. “Exactly as you put it. Well then let’s not waste any time.” Jumping up her eyes flicked up again briefly looking at her marker before she started to press on forwards. “The shop’s going to be closed for a while as well… There was a problem I encountered and there was only one way to deal with it…"
