(PP-F1) Nothing To See Here (Sousuke)

Recommended Posts

Manta smiled over at Sousuke. He had his athletics skill, and she had her sprint and acrobatics skill. In a contest of speed, at least skill wise, there was no way she couldn't keep up. She gave him the thumbs up and took off in a random direction, leaping off of the roof and doing a flip before landing on the next one over. She didn't know where they were going, and she could just follow Sousuke, but if they ran around long enough they would eventually get where they were going.

Sousuke began hopping from roof to roof his cloak billowing behind him dramatically in the wind and keeping an eye on Manta shout directions here and there. She was much faster on her feet due her passives and more acrobatic but she lacked the strength to make a few jumps and looked to be tiring faster than he was. Fortunately she kept up and even got ahead of him a few times as they went laughing with each other and feeling free. This was where he belonged no limits going where he wanted with the person he adored the most. Eventually he called for her to stop and they both stopped at the end of the roof. He pointed to a flat roof that was a long jump and drop from where they were. He stepped back a little and took a running jump flying through the air for a good few seconds before landing and breaking his fall with a skillful roll. He turned back and stood on the edge of the roof holding his hand out in case Manta didn't make the jump. He was stronger physically than her so this jump might be tricky for her, either way he was ready to catch her just in case.

Manta couldn't help grinning as they pretty much parkoured all over the starting city. It would have been fun if she was on her own, but the fact that Sousuke was there with her made it about five times better. He seemed to think that she couldn't make the long jumps, and she thought that she might as well hide her really ability until they reached the building they were heading towards. They both stopped and Sousuke took the jump first. He didn't seem to have trouble, although she could tell that he was near his max jumping distance. To tell the truth she could probably jump twice that distance thanks to her acrobatics skill, but this wasn't a long jump, or a competition. She leaped forwards, gracefully flying through the air to land on the roof in a crouch. She stood up and pulled her scarf down to reveal a brilliant smile and cheeks red from exertion. She gave Sousuke an enormous hug, smiling all the while.

Sousuke returned the hug extremely impressed with her jump. She looked like she could have easily jumped further than him but now wasn't the time for contests and she seemed to be tired out if only a little while Sousuke hadn't even broke a sweat.

He pulled his mask down revealing his own smile and kissed her on the lips. The kiss lasted a good few moments before they broke apart.

"What do you think of the spot then?" He asked still hugging her gently.

Manta got a bit into the kiss, putting her hands behind his head and entangling her finger in his hair, pulling him in closer. When they finally broke apart from their kiss she took a deep breath of the evening air, letting it out in a contented sigh. "It's beautiful. You definitely know how to wow a girl, regardless of location. Your pretty good with that too though." She said, looking out into the distance at the beautiful reds, oranges, and yellows given off by the setting sun.

Sousuke looked towards the sun himself as it began to set on the horizon the colours making for a beautiful landscape view. The air felt great on his face and the way Manta just clung onto him made him feel like he truely belonged in this world even if just for a short while he was in complete bliss.
