(PP-F13) I Shouldn't Be Here (Manta, Tristan)

Celes looked at the team.  She wasn't sure about manta,  who seemed tense,  but she decided to ignore it and focus on the good.  "I'm glad love,  I can only hope we all have do well with the time we have here..."  for a moment sadness flash through her face,  the memories of those lost before her.  "we should head off right?  Which way captain manta?"  She adds cheerfully,  her earlier emotional  lost once more.

Tristan could only laugh at the female...whatever interaction it was. He wasn't really sure how to comment on the situation, but then nor did Manta from the looks of it, to which he could only chuckle and sigh at the same time. Considering the actual quest at hand and how much there was to do, he decided to step in and have them progress on the actual quest at hand, saying "So uh...are we going to do the quest then? We should get going sooner rather than later." in a light hearted tone, "much as i hate to cease your fun, you can resume later.".

Manta smiled when Tristan spoke up, suggesting that they do the actual quest and continue doing... Whatever it was they were doing later. She motioned towards the chapel and started to walk, thinking about the best way to do this. It would probably be best to get Tristan in first, to do his whole tank thing. Then she would go in and take one of the enemies out, then Celesmeh could take out the other one while Ebony healed from the back. "I think we should go in this order. Tristan, Me, Celesmeh, and then you Ebony." She suggested as they approached the building. Anticipating Ebony's response she kept on. "You go last in order to heal anyone that's been injured." She explained.

Ebony had been about to complain, but then Manta spoke up. What she said made a whole lot of sense. She had chosen this way to fight, and she couldn't waver. "All right. I think it sounds good. I dont know about you three, but I kind of just want to go in there, kick some butt and get some skill points." She said confidently, unsheathing her stiletto dagger and pulling out a medicine patch from her pocket. She wasn't a girl scout by far, but she did like to be prepared.

Tristan nodded to the others , cracking his neck and rolling his shoulders as he looked around to see what there was around here. It was mostly just something incredibly creepy, like he had stepped into the world of The Fall of the House of Usher, or something similarly unsettling. When he looked more, he saw a dead angel who was being revived, but they were corrupting to revive them, which unsettled him greatly. That must be Tagas they spoke of. First though, he had to deal with the guards, using Howl to draw their attention to him and grinning as they appeared and looked ready to assault him.

Manta unsheathed her rapier and held it to the side, the blade glowing white as she activated Over Radiation. Tristan had already attracted the attention of the two mage knights, giving her the time and space she needed to rush in and take one out. Her blade stabbed into the mage knights chest four times before spinning and sending another four to his face and then finally back to his chest. He burst into pixels and she retreated, leaving the other one for Celesmeh to take care of.

Celes smiled,  manta was impressive to be sure.  She focused every to her glaive and let her dimension stampede.  She charged forward(39242 bd  10) letting her nose slice through the mage night with ease.  The creature burst into pieces as she landed.  "Well then,  what else?"

Tristan stared at the two as they ended with their own attacks which were all overly flashy and blew their enemies into many pixels. He could only feel a bit useless as he didn't even need to tank anything. but he supposed he would of come in handy if they missed. "Alright, next is Tagas. This is where you come in for healing Ebony. We need to cure him of the corruption while we fight.". He smiled and reared himself ready to howl, since so long as he howled before the enemy attacked, all would be fine and dandy.

Ebony watched, impressed as Tristan drew the mage knights attention while Manta and Celesmeh quickly and cleanly took them out. Now it was her turn. The angel was shaking now, before unsheathing his sword and preparing to charge. It appeared that the mage knights had been at least partially successful in what they were trying to do. Tristan explained what she needed to do, so she went to do it. She ran forwards, past Tristan, Manta, and Celesmeh, and slapped one of her medicine patches on the angels neck. It glowed pink, and the angels expression seemed to relax, if only for a moment, before the patch burst into pixels. She sprinted back to the safety of the others.

Manta watched worriedly as Ebony charged forwards and healed Tagas. Although Tristan had drawn the angels attention with his howl skill, she still felt uneasy about Ebony getting so close. It looked like there goal wasn't to kill the angel, but to somehow heal him, so instead of using delta attack, she activated a weaker skill, just to help draw attention away from Ebony. She ran in and chained five stabs into the angels chest before retreating.

Celes watched ebony rush forward with astonishment,  she seemed so brave...   Watching manta hit she thought it might b best to hold back on attacking.  Taking a defensive stance sho looked over to Tristan and nodded,  she was going to hold unless she was needed.  It seemed that healing was the primary objective now.

The angel arose, tainted with black in several locations from corruption, though the action of healing by Ebony was making the corruption regress such that he was beginning to look healed. They roared in anger though as their judgement was clouded and 'ran' by flying with a charge at Tristan and swung their large sword at Tristan, though the blade smashed against his shield and Tristan went back a distance from the force of the blow. The angel roared at them all, the corruption inside it feeling threatened.

Tristan went "Oomph!" from the force of the blow he received, skidding several meters from the force of the blow. It felt like it this would of ended the lives of lower levels and seriously threaten high levels, which only made him worry considerably over the force that the fully corrupted Tagas. Luckily however they were not going to fight that, but instead trying to cleanse Tagas from the corruption. Tristan used Howl again to ensure that he had hate, also feeling his Holy Blessing activate to heal him of his scratch.

Holy Blessing activated from being hit, heal 12 HP. Howl used.

Ebony slipped around Tristan once again and rushed in carrying another medicine patch. She twirled and slapped the angel full on in the face with it, the patch glowing pink as the corruption faded away. She smirked and retreated back behind  Tristan, unsure exactly what was going to happen now that the angel was healed. Hopefully they would be showered with rewards and level up a few times.

Tristan noticed the angel had become fully healed by the group, Ebony having fully cured Tagas from his corruption. Tristan breathed a sigh of relief and saw Tagas now become a full angel. The angel did not however say a word and nodded to them in thanks with a smile, then flying off into the distance away from them, presumably to join the current war ongoing. Tristan watched as they flew away, wondering if they would somehow contribute to players. Either way, they were done and there were rewards to be had for their benevolent efforts. "Well, that's us done here.".

Manta watched as Tristan took the full force of the corrupted angels blow, just before Ebony ran up to the angel and slapped him with a medicine patch. That wasn't a gentle slap, that was one that would leave a glowing red mark on a players face. It didn't matter that much though, the angel had been healed of corruption, and the quest was for the most part over. She sheathed her rapier and looked back over at Tristan and his health bar, which seemed to still be at full health after that hit. This was the thirteenth floor, the highest one yet, and this was likely the hardest quest yet, and he still had taken that hit and come out without any damage. He truly was a tank.

Celes rushed over to Ebony after the battle "that was AMAZING ebony! You competely healed it! Youre so cool!" She added with a giggle. She gave the girl a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek "Oh man, I hope youre my healer when you get to a higher level, yeah? I KNOW i wouldnt die with you around!"  She turned to face mants "And you!  Seriously awesome dps." She seemed hyper after the battle. She hadnt yet been able to calm down, she still took the time to turn to tritan and give hima  thumbs up. She knew his power, and this just seemed liek another one of his strengths. He was an amazing tank after all. She wondered for a moment where she could fit in this world. Could she take a hit? no.... but she could avoid being hit altogether, hopefully...

Ebony blushed bright red as Celesmeh gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. She seemed to be very excited that they had successfully completed the mission. "Thank you." She said in a small voice as Celesmeh moved on to compliment Manta, saying that she was a great DPS. That was certainly true, Manta could deal a lot of damage, even if it want on par with other players like Zelrius and Calrex.

Manta smiled at Celesmeh as she was complimented. "Your a pretty great DPS as well." She didn't know if that was Celesmehs goal, but she certainly did a tone of damage, around the same amount as Manta herself. Ebony didn't seem to know how to deal with Celesmeh's physical tendency's and as just standing there dumfounded. If had only been a kiss to the cheek. She grinned over at Ebony.

Tristan chuckled at seeing the two approached by Celes in such a manner, one looking like they were deeply embarrassed from the attention, while the other just had no idea to react at all. He smiled and said "Just take it as a compliment, she's more friendly with showing praise than many in this regard. I don't mind it personally, but anyhow." Tristan thought about what was ahead for them, thinking that soon there would be a floor boss on this floor, wondering what he should do in response to it. All he could do is become as strong as possible.
