The design was on the right track, he just needed to get the final details right. Reaching into the crate he got from the npc, he continues his crafting. It was a bit stronger then expected, but not quite the quality he was aiming for. Putting it aside, he goes to work on the next. His gear was great, but he needed a new item set beyond what he uses for his solo leveling. A boss fight would require a new set of equipment. He decides to start with a new set of gauntlets. Placing it on the anvil, he taps it with his hammer, watching as the smithing menu pops up. He selects on the item, and waits to see the results. Fail! He seems to be in quite a hurry today, he knows he has to get to floor 8 fast. He begins to rifle through his items, quickly putting new items on display, and doing a quick check of his own gear. "Hello Haine, Ive got your sword right here, I am going to try to get a quick craft or two off before the boss fight starts though." He is talking even as he works, pulling metal out of a bag and placing it into the forge. Waiting for it to heat up, he will carefully remove it and place it onto the crafting workbench. "Thanks, its appreciated. Im saving up for when we can buy houses, im real tired of sleeping in Inn rooms." He laughs as he continues to work, this time grabbing one of his Crystal Ingots. Maybe he would have better luck with a more refined material. That seems to have failed however, as it shatters apart uselessly. He was out of time, and needed to make this last one count. Hammering out the heated metal, he waits to see how it turns out. Good Craft! +2 Exp Daily Craft 6 of 6 He finishes putting new items up for sale, and, after failing to make a new sword, takes the Midnight Blade off of display and stores it in his inventory. His life steal wasn't going to be as useful in this, and he would rather have the higher damage.
