I approach a group of three wasp. Three wasp wouldn't be that hard... I breath in slowly, throwing away all unnecessary thoughts. The previous battle serve as a real warm up. Now I'm ready to take on enemy, including the queen.

The three wasp, flying around a bed of flowers looks menacing. Having a wide area magic would help a lot here...too bad SAO didn't have that. The sword skill will determine how strong the player here can hit.

With that, I lower my pose and shoulder my sword. The system detects my motion and my sword glow yellow. I let the system assist my movement, and with absurd speed I dash at the group, reaching them within mere second. I thrust my sword forward,yellow projectile follows the sword.

One of the wasp return to database as I struck it down. "Sonic Leap", a useful sword skill to shorten you distance and attack the enemy in blinding speed. Its friend attack me, as their friend shatter into fragments. I roll to the left, dodging the attacks and close in to another wasp.

One or two miss won't hurt me that much. I regain my focus back and step in for the attack. The wasp can't stand up to my speed, and so with a downward swing the life of the wasp ends there. It serves well as a fodder for me to practice my sword skill. While it turn to polygon, I walk away to find for my next target.

As I walk away, the sound of shattering can be heard.

We glare at each other.

Left foot behind my right foot, I turn my body sideways and aim the sword forward near my face, horizontally. 

The wasp begin its move. It make a quick motion of rising up high to the air and dive down with its sharp stinger aiming right at me. Not wanting to be struck by it, I step to the right a little, enough for me to dodge and land an attack at it. I spin around with my blade sticking out. The attack doesn't meet the target.

When we get too confident with ourselves, mistake tend to butt in, teaching us that overconfidence could lead us to our mistake. A small mistake during combat in SAO could be fatal...

I didn't watch my stepping as I walk circle the wasp,waiting for the perfect moment to attack. I step on a small stone, slip and fall to the ground,hard. I scratch my head and stand up. The wasp, now flying in the air, doesn't seem to be happy. I smirk at its behavior and raise my sword.

I dash towards my next target. The wind wasp approximately 100 meter from me will taste my sword in a short time. I push myself to run even faster as I want to fight the boss as fast I can.

A full frontal assault can't be unwise without proper preparation, I'm confident I can defeat the mobs on this floor easily though. I trust my skill that I have hone and attack the wasp with irregular strike, an attack that can confuse enemy but have less chance to hit the enemy.

My confidence didn't go to waste. I manage to strike its head and send it down to the ground, too weak to fly for now.

"Yawn~ Hmm...Faces I have seen before..."

I rub my eyes and look around. Two new people have arrived at the meeting,Rue and Sinon. I have seen both of them before but I can't remember where I met them. I scratch my head and decided that trying to remember it will be exhausting. 

"Hello there Rue and Sinon. How are you two doing?"

While I wait for the guild meeting to start,I fetch myself some red wine and drink it,savoring the flavor. 

"Nice wine we have here...."

"Ah...well that's that I guess. Huh..no more party."

I return the glass to where it belongs. The party die down when Lessa leave the party due to incident just now. Not that I knew why it happen like that. Kudos to Tristan for acting like a man...I guess.

"Well Kosan, I'll be leaving now. Be careful on your way back home. I don't want you to wander outside the safe area accidentally in your condition like this. See you later."

I exit the hall. Another great event to be write in my journal once I get back to my room.

I don't want to lose any Health Point before fighting the queen. Therefore I have to strike quick and hard, which won't be a problem against my fragile opponent. The wasp have not recovered from the attack just now. I put it out of its misery with another struck on its body. The sound of glass like shattering reach my ears as I turn away from the dead wasp.

Arrived at the spawning place for the wind wasp, I scout the area for further preparation. No suspicious player around, no green player grind around the area. Good. This way no one will obstruct me in completing this quest.

The breeze blow gently as I stand on top of small hill. Looking down from the top, the wind wasp buzz around the field. The sound of their little wing beating around can be an annoyance. 

Confirmed that I'm prepared to begin the fight, I run down the hill and run straight for the nearest wind wasp. Taking it by surprise, I draw my sword from the scabbard and lunge forward.

Not able to react at the sudden attack, the wasp get struck by the blade. Pulling out the blade, I ready myself for my next move.

"Then tavern we will go. A little drink would clear our head. From there we can think on what to do...or we can just talk things out, man to man."

I look up to the sky; the snow gets lighter as it nearing afternoon. I remove my cloak and wear Bakuyagai, my usual armor I use in and out of battle. I can't imagine going outside the safe zone without this cloth. This time, Bakuyagai serve as my formal cloth...or whatever you want it to call. Going to tavern with just a cloak while my partner wears something stylish would be..rude.

"Lead the way, my friend."

"I don't know. Why don't you try. Don't try it at me though."

I watch Unyielding grab Tristan cloth while grabbing her stomach. It looks so wrong I have to bash my head on the wall a few times on the wall until the <Immortal Object> appear on the wall, stopping me from getting aggressive. I just have to do it to throw away these thoughts. What thoughts? Why don't you figure it out yourself.

"Why don't you have a second round with her again. Might as well drink until we drop,right?"

I refill my glass with juice this time. I don't want to go back to my room in drunken state.

"Now, now everyone, calm down. Why don't you put back your sword and calm down, stranger. No need to be aggressive over a little misunderstanding. Although if your original intention would be to attack us...then we won't give you any mercy."

I put on a big smile towards the stranger. I try to calm him down as he look like he's about to attack one of us. I would do the same if I see a player being attacked too.

"What Kosan said, leader. The town can be too noisy sometimes. Can't wait for the new members to arrive~"

I move closer to the group and lie down. The fresh air and sweet smell of flower can't be resist. The world around me slowly sink into darkness. I can't hear what the others said as I close my eyes slowly.

"Wake...me up...when the others have arrive..."

"zzzz......"

I have been waiting for the next guild meeting. The main reason would be the enjoyment of looking everyone in the guild still alive and kicking. That and guild meeting can be memorable and enjoying. It reminds me of the time I attended club meeting in my school, minus the entertaining part. Most of the time It'll be all talk and serious, but the only people I can rely and trust on will be my guild member.

All the memories keep me occupied I didn't realize I'm arrive at the location (10 minutes walk in Aincrad equals to 2 minute if you run). Finding the location mention in the message (marked by Mari and shared among us guild member) would be an easy work for me as I explored Floor 2 many time for god knows how many time. A little surprising though as Fallen and Kosan arrived earlier. They have a lot of enthusiasm inside them. 

"Hello there everyone. Nice setup Mari. I like this place better than the Fourth Floor. Easy for me to get lost there in the cold....."

I lie down on top of the flower bed without the pillow and blanket. It will be more relaxing that way.

"You make it sound like I am a stalker, Fallen.... It's just a coincidence we met at the same place."

Fallen, a member of the Cerulean Guild. The same guild where I belong. This swordsman in black cloak can surprise anyone who look down at him. He look cheerful today, meeting with his new friend. 

His remark at me throw me off a little. Maybe I need to steer away from people a little. I shrug my shoulder and chuckle a little.

The city of Urbus gets smaller as I walk further away from it. Not much enjoyment today, less people around too. Bustling city always have been something I enjoy. Gloomy expression can't be avoided as I look at people with their variety of action; talking, playing around and sometimes romance. 

The rumor of a mini boss roams the area when players defeated a certain number of Wind Wasp have been spread wide across Aincrad. Many players, some of them I knew, attempt the rumor and prove it to be true. I'm not missing this chance to strengthen myself as I am one of the front liners. The lack of strength can be fatal in this game.

A rainy weather greet me today as I walk out of the inn. The street never gets crowded with people on day like this, not like a rain will harm us players. Feelings of not getting wet just come naturally. Kayaba replicate that emotion perfectly, something I respect him for.

Upon reaching the area outside the safe zone, I equip my weapons and armor. Ready myself for a hunt on the Queen of Wasp, I warm up a little with some push up and begin my journey.

As she end her first song, everyone have calm down a little. Stressing out won't help any of us to conquer the next floor. I pity myself to be consume by my own emotion. I should have just accept myself for who I am and continue pushing myself forward. In that sense, the negative trait inside me must be fix.

Her sphere shape crystal change shape to a piano as she prepare herself for another song. Each key that she press will produce melancholic sound. The song she play now remind me of my loved one, mainly my family. I look down as the memories of me with my family begin to play inside my head like a recording tape.

"One more reason to get out from this game...."

"And...Knockout. Looks like both can't stand the mighty taste of the liquor."

Unyielding point at people randomly, the kid must have taken too much shot than she can handle. I just smile when she walk towards Lessa but ended up grabbing Tristan as she about to fall.

As for Kosan...

"Hello there Kosan. I'm enjoying your little contest there. So who won at last?"

I help him to stand straight as he looks like he's going to kiss the floor if I let him wobbling like that. I just hope that he won't barf... Does SAO have the function to let people vomit...?

I shake away the thoughts and fetch Kosan some water so that he can sober down.

It's a bright and sunny day in the first floor. The weather system like to screw people around with brutal weather; sometime it can be too hot, other time it can be too cold. I wear my usual battle gear, Bakuyagai made from leather and light metal. It's my beloved armor, and I think I'll have a hard time changing this one.

I reach the gate leading outside of the beginning city. I wander around this floor today to look for something interesting. I spotted Fallen at the gate. Approaching him, I notice that he's greeting another player. I hesitate a moment, unsure whether I should go to them or not. In the end....

"Hello you two. Can..I help you with something?"

I think I'm stuttering a little. At times like this my shy nature rear its ugly head. Can't be help, my communication skill isn't that great.

"For what reason I being nice..."

"For what reason I create needless drama..."

"Why am I acting like I know it all..."

"Am I trying to get people attention so much....?"

The music continue to allure me. My head gets clearer as I think back my wrongdoing with the help of her music. As the train of thoughts pass over me, a woman approach me and sit next to me. I don't know why she would choose this seat among many seat in this center. The singing voice of the girl must have attracted her though. I didn't think much of it, let her feel the emotion of the performer for they will need it.

The voice that soothes the soul.

The party turn into a wild one, exactly like the one in Rowan's party. Except that this time it's not party spoiler, but party goer.

Unyielding and Kosan doesn't seem to be holding well. Not surprising, considering how strong the drinks. The words they speak becomes incoherent; that's how the drunk always talk. I try to hold back my laughter as I watch the couple sway left and right with drinks on their hand, both refusing to give up.

I drink again from my glass, waiting for the great development between the two drunkards.

I stand up from my seat and walk to the table sort with various food. You can't never find food this much without getting know with appropriate people. I didn't feel like eating despite the attractive assortment. Ignoring the chaos near me (a bunch of people compete in drinking contest), I fill my glass with wine and walk away to the corner of the hall, watching the players that have arrived.

Most people gather around the competitors there. The song fits in perfectly, except for some that choose not to involve much in this party. I look around for someone to socialize with. Everyone seems busy at this moment. So I just drink while enjoying the cheery mood in the hall.

After she adjust her guitar, she pluck the guitar string, thus beginning her performance. I watch at the crowd forward as they begin to relax while listening to her voice and the sound of the guitar. It's a perfect song in this occasion as everyone look so intense earlier.

Another person enter the scene. I just glance at him for awhile before indulging back to her singing. 

"Okay then. Let's go there tomorrow. I have a boss that needs to be hunt tomorrow. We'll go there in the evening or night. Alright, see you guys around."

I left the group and go back to the tavern. I still need some time to clear my head and think what to do later on. This game is slowly changing to murderous place; I can't imagine going anywhere without feeling insecure. I drink a few juices and left the tavern. In the end, sleep is the best method to forget everything that happen.

"I'll just go back to the inn and rest until evening."
