Destiny

"Yes! For sure!"  

Destiny climbed off of Manta and started marching toward the door, and then suddenly stopped in her tracks.  She turned around and said, "you're coming... right?"  Destiny tilted her head as she finished her question. Destiny opened the door and slipped out.  "I'll meet you there, Manta!!"

Destiny slammed the door open, hitting the wall.  The sound of the door hitting the wall so abruptly and hard echoed in the area.  It had seemed like forever since she had seen her friend, Manta.  Destiny ran toward Manta and dove to tackle her.  "Its been too long!!!!"  She cried out as her arms were forward, eyes tearful and face slightly blushing.  

"Its fine"  she said softly to Ryu.  "Well...What have you been up to around here?"  she questioned him.  Destiny had only been in this world for a small amount of time, and she had a feeling that her sibling signed into the world rather early on.  Destiny swung her legs as they sat over the branch, and she looked at the ground below her.  She was not scared of heights, unlike her brother.  

"Abner..." she said as her eyes trailed softly to the ground below her.  "...I really don't want to talk much about it... I just..  I don't know what to say or how to explain it.  But I just..."  Destiny sighed.  "..I just don't know what to say."  Destiny looked at her nephew,  "Can't you just tell me about your quest for love...It will make me happy....And probably take my mind off my blues..."  Destiny smiled at him. 

Destiny nodded at Brayden when he mentioned his idea.  "Alright"  Destiny threw her sword at the wolf, barely missing, but part of the plan.  The wolf brought it's attention to her and she made eye contact with it.  The wolf growled at her, Destiny stood there, waiting to see if the wolf would move or not.  "Come on..."  she thought to herself.  The wolf continued to growl, and Destiny was on the tips of her toes, ready to start sprinting hard as soon as it made it's move.  The wolf took one step forward, and then another one.   Destiny took one step back, and then took one more, the wolf dashed forward and Destiny quickly turned around and started running away from the wolf. 

Destiny walked over a hill, her sword withdrawn and her face upset.  Destiny looked over at the others.  "This is enough...."  she said softly under her breath.  Destiny raised her sword above her head and threw it at Arekksusu.  "DID YOU HEAR ME?!??! I SAID THIS IS ENOUGH ABNER!!  ENOUGH!! YOU NEED TO STOP IT!!" The sword barely missed him and landed a quarter way into a tree. Destiny was enraged, granted that she didn't know what was wrong, she couldn't read minds,  this was unlike her little nephew.  Abner and her were close, and if he ever had issues, she expected him to tell her about them, not run away from the issues or keep them a secret.  "ABNER!  WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?"  She screamed as she started marching over to him.  "WHAT?!?  YOU'RE TOO PROUD TO TELL ANY ONE OF US ABOUT YOUR ISSUES?! WHAT?! YOU THINK YOU'RE TOO STRONG, AND WE ARE TOO WEAK TO HANDLE IT?!"  Destiny pulled out her sword from the tree and faced him.  She was never going to let this one go.  As she stared into Arekkusus's eyes something was happening in the corner of hers. 

"Oh..." she said softly as she listened to her brother talk about video games.  "Well... Mom and Dad know that I have been working hard at school... and frankly.  You don't know mom as well as me.  Or maybe its just that you don't know me that well...."  she looked skeptically at her brother.  "Well... I am here because.. I actually like playing video games, and they sent me this game as a little gift..."  she said as she looked down at the world that they were high above now. 

Destiny giggled at her nephew.  He was being silly for her, and even though she knew this, she liked it.  "Yes...You'r quest for love...How is that going?" Destiny paused as she leaned on her nephew, putting her head on his shoulder.  "Or just tell me about your life... Your feelings... Something else... I don't want to talk about myself... I don't know myself anymore...." Destiny's voice grew softer.  "...Or... At least I don't think I know myself anymore..." 

"Heh.. No I'm fine Abner... I'm fine trust me.  I've just..."  Destiny brought her arms close to her chest, bringing her one arm across her torso, connecting it to her elbow.  "...I just have.. I have too much time to myself to think....I think.." Destiny smiled and scratched her head.  "Well, tell me about you and your adventures, nephew?" Destiny sat down next to her nephew. 

Destiny bit her lip, as she listened to her younger brother talk.  "Well.... If you actually payed attention, you'd know that I am off at college right now....and Mom and Dad decided that it would be nice to get their daughter a little gift... and now I am here...."  she said in a snooty tone back at her brother.  "What are you doing here anyways... Aren't you a little young to be here?"  she questioned him as she stood up looking at her brother. 

Destiny jumped forward and hugged her nephew.  Granted she wasn't happy, she was rather meloncholy.  "No..Its nothing.. No one has hurt me... If you want to slit anyone's throat, slit mine." she said as he hugged him closely.  " I'm hurting myself..." she said softly.  After a few moments Destiny pulled away from her nephew, and looked at him.  "How are you, Abner?"  she said with a curious tone.  Destiny gave him a little half hearted smile. 

Destiny nodded at Pyro.  She whispered in to Pyro's ear,  "If he refuses... You need to sneak up behind him and I,  make sure that he doesn't see you... I'm worried.."  Destiny moved away from Pyro and started to walk towards Arekkusu.  "Hey!"  she called out to him.  "Hold up!" she said as she started running towards him.  Destiny knew that she was fast, but the distance between them would give him a head start.  "He better not run." she thought to herself as she was closing the gap between them. 

Destiny stood around and looked at her surroundings.  "Am I breaking...Am I breaking....Why..."  she thought to herself. Destiny then saw a notification pop up.  Destiny clicked on it and it took her to a message from Arekkusu.  She smiled as she read it, a single tear fell from her face.  "...I think...I am breaking.."  she said softly to herself.  Destiny stood around some more.  This time looking at her feet and hands.  Destiny wished to be at home.  Destiny wished to have the comfort of her mother, Destiny wished that she could have something in her actual hands for once.  She kicked up some dirt that was at her feet.  "...this world..." she mummbled to herself.  

Destiny heard someone speak to her, it sounded like the person was above her.  Destiny started talking,  "Excuse me.." she crossed her arms.  "...I don't see your name on this tree....Therefore it is free for any-"  Destiny looked up and she couldn't believe it.  It was, her brother.  Destiny was frozen looking up at him, her mouth wide open, her eyes locked onto his.  "What....What...What is he doing here....."  she thought to herself.  "...Does...Does he even recognize me.....fu... of course he does... We all look like ourselves...." 

Destiny smiled at Pyro as she was telling her about her excitement with the lovely flame.  "Well....I had a zippo back at home... And obviously I couldn't bring that into this game... but if I could, you can believe that I would let you play with it.  I personally just like to flick it open and close, but that is just me."  Destiny shrugged.  "And well.. I burn my hair all the time."  Destiny laughed.  She looked as though it seemed that the others were far behind them.  Destiny couldnt make out definite features, but she could see that her nephew, Abner, was deep in thought about something.  She watched as he pulled out his blade and stared into it.  "There is something....going on with him... I know it....." Destiny thought to herself. 

It seemed as though Destiny was leaning on her nephew far more than she desired, however, it seemed that everyone was occupied with other concerns in their lives.  Manta was getting married to Sousuke,  Sol disappeared again,  Claim Destiny could care less to worry about, he was strong enough; and Christoff had a habit of disappearing and reappearing.  Destiny pulled up her HUD and messaged her nephew.

Would you like to go adventuring today?  Or just hang out and talk?  I'll be on the eigth floor if you want to do anything.

Destiny pressed send and waited around.  She looked around at her surroundings, this was the floor that was a Giant forest.  There wasn't much to explore, but at least it was something different. 

"Hey Pyro!"  Destiny called out behind herself,  Pyro was behind her as she lead Pyro the only buffet that she knew.  "Tell me... In the real world, did you like to play with fire?  I did... I burnt a hole in my futon once. xD  I live in the dorms... and I am actually probably laying in my dorm bed right now...Unless if my parents got me....Or the school..."  Destiny laughed playfully at the idea.  "Well... Sorry.. I got side tracked... But I really like candles... Playing with the wax is fun."  Destiny stopped and turned around to look at Pyro.

Destiny got back onto her feet and out of the water once more. “Well….†She said softly to the individual.  “I am slightly sorry for what I am going to do… But…. You kind of deserve it..† Destiny walked over to the mirror of herself and came up close and personal.  Destiny was an inch away from the individuals face.  â€œ..And trust me…I don’t look back.† She said as she stabbed her blade into the individuals abdomen.  Destiny looked into the individuals brown eyes, as they shattered.  Destiny walked out of the water and her back turned to the waterfall.  She paused there for a moment.  â€œ Things….never change….† Destiny continued to walk forward, back into the Amazon’s Folly, and then back to where she was comfortable.

The individual laughed at Destiny, “You’ll never make it out alive… and even if you did… You would have to live with the fact that you killed yourself.† Destiny listened to the mirrored self. “Honestly, what makes you think that?  I mean… does it really bother me that you look like me….Hell no… You’re just… fiction…† Destiny cut away at the individual.  “Who cares!† She yelled as she took another swing.  “Really.. Tell me, who really cares… I think no one..† The mirrored version of herself smiled as she yelled at itself.  â€œI think that this will fester something in you…. I truly believe that this will affect you, even if you kill me. “ The individual splashed water at Destiny, causing her to bring her arms up to her face and took a slice at her.  Destiny was caught off guard and fell into the water as she stepped back.  A giant splash of water surrounded Destiny once more as she fell underwater.  “I swear… I might be a mermaid…† she thought to herself.

Destiny’s eyes widened a bit.  “I guess I should have expected this…. I mean…†Destiny laughed a bit as she thought to herself.  “Well.. If this is a fight to the death you want, then this will be a fight to the death you’ll get… And you’re far too cocky to ever be, me.† Destiny pulled out her blade again and swiped at her mirrored self.  She cut away at her side, jamming her sword as far as it would go and pulled it out.  “Tell me… Do you really want a piece of me?†Her mirrored self stumbled for a bit.  It refrained from countering this time, since the individuals HP was so low.

Destiny nodded, at the mirror of herself. “Well.. If this is half life like you say…. Then if I lay this hit on you… You’d be out.. and I’d win…† Destiny smiled at herself.  Winning always made her happy.  â€Yeah~. Half life.†Destiny stood there for a while as the water calmed around them.  Destiny focused and quickly ran towards Diana, slicing through her side.  “YES!† Destiny thought to herself.  Diana stumbled a bit, and actually staggered where she stood.  Destiny walked over to herself, she looked down at herself with her arms crossed.  “I win then…And I hope that next time, you will learn how to pick opponents that you don’t lose to…†â€Next time..† Diana muttered under her breath.  â€THERE WILL BE NO NEXT TIME!!† Diana screamed as she lunged at Destiny, who was unarmed.  Diana sliced away at Destiny’s torso, cutting away from her shoulder to shoulder.  â€This is a fight to the death… and I’m not dying.†
