Destiny

“OH…That’s what you wanted?† Destiny walked over to a tree and sat against it, her legs straight and extended out in front of herself.  “Well… What’s up my little nephew.  Tell me your issues and all that jazz.  I don’t mind hearing anything and everything.† She said as she placed her hands on her lap.  Destiny gave Arekkusu a little wink,  “And you know I can keep secrets.† 

Destiny was still running.  She could slightly hear the commotion of the things going on behind her but she wasn’t entirely focusing on that anymore.  In fact, her attention was upon someone else;  Destiny had spotted a bandit not too far away from her and was running toward the bandit.  Destiny was just about to attack when all of a sudden out of the corner of her eye she saw a figure.  She couldn’t believe her eyes.  It was that stupid zombie-king-man-thing.  Destiny’s eyes widen a bit at the thought of him being even able to run at all.  “That son of a b-“ Destiny wasn’t able to finish her thought.  She had the inhereient ability of being clumsy when she wasn’t paying attention and especially when she ran and wasn’t paying attention to where she was going.  Destiny tripped over her own feet and was unable to attack the bandit.  Destiny slid forward and actually went in-between the bandits legs as the bandit attempted a rather lame swing at her.  Destiny slid a bit past Claim where she came to a complete stop.  Destiny jumped up onto her feet and stomped over to Claim.  She still had some dirt on herself. “Ugh….You little!!!  I’ll beat you over the head with a log someday!!  I SWEAR!!† she threatened the strange fellow.

Destiny continued to tickle young Abner until she heard those words.  Those beautiful, magnificent words,  ‘you win.’  Destiny immediately stopped and pulled herself back.  She sat there with the biggest grin on her face.  “Content… Oh so content….†She said to herself.  Destiny loved winning, and her love of winning was nearly par with her hate of losing.  Destiny wiped a slight tear from the corner of one of her eyes that she had gained in the process.  She was having too much fun giving Arekkusu the raspberry she cracked up herself even.  “Well… What now, nephew?† she asked him as she stood up and brushed off the dirt from her clothes.  

Destiny stood there for a while with her arms around Sol’s neck, her body leaning on his.  She was on the tips of her toes and her head in the crook of his neck.  A few more tears fell onto her face and even on Sol as she closed her eyes.  “I’m fine.† She said softly, it was nearly inaudible except for the fact that she was already so close to him.  The tears that rolled down Destiny’s cheeks felt so icy cold; she was still blushing.  She was still dying inside, there was more to say but she wasn’t quite ready to say it yet.  Destiny’s legs began to shake, she was so emotionally drained that it took a toll on her physically.  She let go of her hold around Sol’s neck and went back on her normal footing, off of the tips of her toes.  Destiny looked down at the ground to the right of her as she thought to herself, “I’m sorry, Bastion…I’m so sorry..†She then placed both of her hands on Sol’s chest again and look up at him; there were still traces of the tears that she had shed on her cheeks and she was still blushing.  Destiny smiled at him as she said, “What do you want to do?†

Destiny laughed at what she was doing to her little nephew.  This brought back memories of when she was changing his diaper and when he would cry.  Diana would just blow on Abner’s little stomach and give him a raspberry.  This would cheer him up right away, and it seemed that the world was all sunshine and rainbows then; and why couldn't Destiny indulge herself a bit with torturing her grown-up-but-still-little- nephew.  “You need to say it, Abner!† she called out to him as she continued to give him a raspberry.  “Say it!  Say it!† she continued to demand of him.  

 â€œWell….†She said as she looked around at everyone.  Destiny was tired of standing around walking.  “Claim, Zombie master!†she called out at him.  “So where is this snowman, snowball, snow house thingy?†she questioned him.  Destiny had been dragging Vexi along for a while and was growing impatient.   She wanted to kill something, but most of all she wanted to make sure that Vexi could at least attempt a hit and not die; that was something that she didn’t want to happen above all. 

Destiny tightened her grip on Sol’s garments that lay on his chest.  She wanted to cry, she was going to cry.  She wanted to tell him everything  and anything but she couldn’t.  It pained her inside as she thought about it more.  Here was one of her closest friends and she couldn’t even say the words that she truly wanted to say.  Destiny had to make a decision of what to tell him first. 

When she finally made up her mind Destiny looked up at Sol.  Her eyes had a few tears in the corners that had yet fallen onto her cheeks.  Destiny blushed as she stared into his eyes for a while.  The more she thought about how close they were the more she blushed.  There was a brief moment of silence before she said the words.  “I like you too, Bastion..I like you..so much..† In one entire action Destiny moved onto the tip of her toes so she could wrap her arms around Sol’s neck.  She held onto him tightly as she put her face in the crook between his neck and shoulder.  A few of the tears that were in the corner of her eyes rolled down her cheeks.  

Destiny stood in place, unmoving when she felt Claim grab onto her arm.  She kept her eyes closed the entire time, she didn’t need to look at him; what really was the point?  He would just fall back into the hole and if he didn’t she would make sure that he would be in there.  Permanently.   Destiny walked towards her nephew.  She was calm and tranquil as she walked, when she was about a foot away from Arekkkusu she opened her eyes and looked deeply into his.  Destiny was trying to see something, to see if Arekkusu was truly hiding much from her.  She worried about him and this…issues.  Destiny took a step back and then let out a sigh as she crossed her arms again.  “Well…. Now what..†she said over her shoulder slightly as if to address the both of them. 

Destiny continued her descent from the mountain range.  She had her arms to her sides as she continued downward, part of her face as tucked into her scarf.  Destiny had a lot to think about, and she was still unsure about most of it.  There had been things that were weighting her down for a while and the longer they stayed there the more heavy things became.  She was deep in thought when she looked up and around once more.  Destiny saw four outlines in the distance.  They seemed to stagger in a clumsy way.  Destiny lifted her tucked chin away from her face and scarf.  She started to walk faster in that direction, curious about what was going on; it wasn’t common that she would see a group like that stagger and walk in the clumsy way that they were, not to mention there was something about the outlines that gave her a tinge of worry. 

Destiny quietly made her way close enough to finally see what was going on.  She saw a somewhat familiar face and she couldn’t believe her eyes.  “Chris-  Christoff….†She said softly in her breath.  It didn’t even look like him.  Her elder cousin had changed and it was rather unexpected.  Granted that the family fell apart once the children started growing up, she would think that at least her cousin would have kept in touch with her and at least let her know about his newer self.  Destiny blushed slightly, her new cousin was exceedingly handsome.  Though prior to this change, he was still charming and handsome; this newer Christoff made Destiny a bit shy. 

Destiny drew out her sword, she was still slightly blushing.  Destiny ran forth at one of the skeletons from behind, she slashed at the skeleton in the side and upwards, where the kidney would be on an actual being, Destiny cut off one of its arms in the process, disabling the skeleton to attack her back.   Destiny continued her running as she wanted to follow through with the attack; however she wasn’t really paying too much attention to where she was running and ran directly into Christoff.  “Ooophf!†she said as she practically bounced off of her cousin and landed on her bum.  Destiny rubbed her head and then looked up at Christoff.  “I’m sorry, Christoff.. I-I wasn’t watching where I was going…† she said softly as she stood up and dusted off her articles of clothing.

Destiny listened patiently to her nephew as he spoke to her and told her about what they were doing here.  She opened an eye when she heard scrambling; it was Claim picking himself up and starting to crawl out of the hole once more.  She closed that eye and when she did so Arekkusu had finished his speech about how the two ended up in the predicament that they were in.  “Alright…And you’re acquaintance… What about that..†she said in a questioning tone.  Diana knew her little nephew rather well, and suspected certain things, like a possible falling out, but she wanted to hear the words herself.  He didn’t need to actually say that there was an issue there, but something alluding to that worked just as well for her; for she understood situations like these.  Destiny had felt a change in the air as Claim finally was back onto his feet on their level of ground.  “And…†she said as she moved and pushed Claim back in.  “..I’m done.† Destiny thought that that was probably enough punishment; though he clearly deserved more, she was done.  

“Psh.† She said to her nephew.  “Hold your words against you… I’ll hold something else against you…†she said as she walked over to Claim.  He was still standing near the hole and Destiny decided to take advantage of this.  “Well…†she said softly to herself.  Destiny placed both her hands on Claim and pushed him back into the hole.  She wanted to make him go in flying head first, but it didn’t really matter to her.  Just as long as he was in that hole.  Destiny crossed her arms and tapped her foot again, awaiting Claim’s next attempt to crawl out of the six foot hole he dug for himself.  â€œSo, what were you two really doing here… In the first place.†She said as she shot a look at her nephew.  She hoped that because they were family that he wouldn’t lie to her.  

Destiny was wondering through the mountainous range.  She was just walking through the valley in-between the mountains.  It was rather cold and dark.  The snowy wind blew and caused her pigtails to flow to one side of her.  She looked at the area that was new to her.  In the distance she saw the lights of the settlement on the seventh floor.  Destiny clenched her fists as she looked at the surrounding area. Everything was getting dark as the darkness seemed to spread from one end of the horizon to the other. Where she was standing Destiny could oversee the entire floor.  For she just entered through the mountain valley.  “Well…This is kind of reminiscent of….†She thought to herself.  She shook her head left and right, as to shake the thought from her mind.  “….Whatsoever….I might as well try and get into the town…..Try…†Destiny laughed at herself.  She started walking down the mountain range toward the settlement, she had a long way to go until she was even close to anything. 

Destiny laid on her nephew for a while.  “Well…. I would.. I truly would.. Except I am by far too comfortable laying here..†  She teased her little nephew.  “But… Since you asked so nicely.† Destiny started to sit up, she raised herself up and was sitting up ever so slightly.  Then she quickly turned around and put her lips to her little nephew’s stomach.  Destiny started to blow, and was giving her little nephew a raspberry like how she used to when she baby sat him.  “Tickle tickle tickle!!† she called out as she was tickling him.  Destiny didn’t stop and wouldn’t stop until he was crying. 

 Destiny kept on walking as her little nephew lay on the ground.  “Why hello little Abner… So kind of you to.. drop in…†she said in a rather tranquil tone.  Destiny sensed that her nephew was near.  It wasn’t like her not to be aware of these kinds of things; not to mention when it came to family, it was one of those things that she could just sense.  “What are you doing around here, little one?† she said as she looked into some bushes.  Destiny was out loot hunting when her nephew was so kind to stop by.  [6129]  LD = 12.  Destiny opened up the chest and out came a boxing glove that was attached to a spring.  It sucker punched Destiny right in the face, causing her to fly in the hair and landing next to her little nephew.  Her head hit Arekkusu’s stomach on landing.  “Oops… Sorry..†she said to him.  “At least I found 40 col and 1 mat.†She told him.

“Well…..† Destiny said as she looked around at all the others.  Destiny held  her index finger as she thought to herself.  She scanned that area and then looked at the ground.  “…Since we need to get going…†she said as she was still looking at the ground.  Destiny was hiding a large grin.  “..No sense in not making it slightly fun….and a game..†she said softly to herself.  Destiny lifted the hand that was near her face up into the sky and hit Arekkusu in the back with it; hard, nearly five staring him.  “TAG!  You’re it!† she called out as she started running.  Destiny didn’t want to be it; not to mention Arekkusu had two other players to tag, if he was fast enough.  Destiny knew that she could out run Sol, and that Arekkusu could keep up with her; since they were family after all.  Then it was down to the two solless ones.  (get it…Sol..less..xD) 

Destiny ran towards their mission objective and looked back at her little nephew and their other companions; the zombie and the clueless one.  “TAG ONE OF THEM AND HURRY UP!!†she called out to Arekkusu. 

Destiny was being cheered on by the Amazonian women as though she was a hero of sorts.  “Well….†She said as stood next to her ever-so-changing-in-appearances-nephew.   Destiny had her arms crossed again and tapped her foot upon the ground.  She opened one eye to look at Claim who was essentially in a hole in the ground that he essentially dug himself; due to his earlier actions. 

 Destiny moved her open eye to her little nephew and looked at him as he was talking.  When he had finished Destiny waved her arm to the Amazonian women as to say, ‘be gone.’  They each, one by one got up and left.  Including the ones that were laughing at Claim.  “Well… You say you won’t hurt your family…†she said as she was still looking down at him and had her arms crossed, tapping her foot against the ground.  “I will hold you to that, Abner.  I hope that those words don’t come back to bite you.† She said in a stern tone.  Destiny knew that in this world of death; that words like that may come back to haunt someone. 

Destiny could feel her heart beating in her chest, she didn’t know what to do, this was all so much for her.  Part of her was dying inside, she had difficulty thinking about what to say or do.  She just wanted some other part of her to do the speaking for her.  Destiny closed her eyes as she tried to calm herself.  She was still intensely blushing and took in a deep breath and let it out as she opened her eyes and looked at the ground again.  “Bastion….† She said his name again as she slide in front of him to face him.  Destiny still held onto Sol’s hand as she moved in front of him, she was too scared to let go but she did, for she didn’t want him to know that her hands were trembling.

Destiny put her hands on Sol’s chest and leaned against him slightly.  Destiny didn’t know what to do so she just let her body lean against his.  She pressed her face into his chest,  her knees felt weak and were shaking.  Destiny felt like she was going to throw up and obviously didn’t want to.  Destiny gripped onto the clothing on Sol’s chest as she turned her head to the side so her left cheek was pressed against his chest.  “Bastion…†she softly said once more. 

Destiny looked up at Kosan who seemed like a tower to her.  “Um…†she said softly to herself.  “Sure!†she said in a cheery voice.  Destiny smiled at Kosan as she said,  “What do you feel like eating?  I’m up for anything.†  Destiny examined Kosan, “He looks a lot better when he has a bit of color in his face.†She thought to herself.  “Well…†she said as she grabbed Kosan by the arm.  Destiny started to head for the eateries.  “Let’s go check it out!  No need to wait!† 

Destiny smiled and laughed at Sol.  He was being ridiculously silly, it was like he didn’t hear what she was saying because he was concentrated on something else.  “Don’t hate you… hate you for what….?†She thought to herself as she continued to listen to him.  Once Destiny heard the words she froze.  She didn’t know what to think, nor what to say.  The words just seemed to flow right through her but hit her like a bus all at the same time.  After more moments of silence Destiny looked at the ground and dug her left foot into it.  She was blushing, a lot; and possibly even more than Sol was.  She still didn’t know what to say and wasn’t sure about that to say.  Nor did she know what to do either.  There was an eerie silence and one could hear the wind and snow outside.   

Destiny rested her head against Sol’s arm and interlaced her hand with his.  “Bastion…?†she said softly as she was still looking at the ground, and still painfully unsure about what to do or say.  Destiny was still blushing and her face felt extremely hot. 

Destiny looked at Sol, bewildered.  “Sol…Are you okay?† She was rather confused.  One second he is asking her if she could see anything between them; and now he was talking about the weather.  She let out a small sigh.  Destiny closed her eyes as she talked,  “Sol.. If there is something you need to get off your chest you can just tell me. “   She opened a eye to look at him for a second and then closed it again. 

Destiny waited for a couple moments, the silence between them was getting to her much faster than it did Sol.  Destiny attempted to bump her hip into Sol’s.  “Hey.†She said as she smiled.  “You know that I really care about you, right?† 

Destiny was confused.  “What….Why is he handing me a lump of snow…?†she asked herself.   Destiny looked at the snow that he had placed in her hands; it was a heart.  “A heart?†she asked herself, out loud this time.  She was a bit taken back.  â€œUmmm….†She said softly to herself.  Destiny blushed a bit as she tried to think about what it was that he had given to her.  “Umm…†Destiny looked at Sol who still had his eyes closed and then looked at the snowy heart that was in her hands.  â€œUmm…†she took a bit of a closer look at the snow, and saw that something was traced into it, but she couldn’t make out the words.  “Um…Sol…What does this say?†she said as she moved next to him and lifted up the snow near his face so he could get a closer look.  “I can’t really make it out…† 

Destiny looked at Claim and then back at Arekkusu.  “Are you threatening me?† Her eyes narrowed as she was analyzed her little nephew.  “I mean…. Are you seriously threatening me?!† As she asked Arekkusu again, her tone became more intense and strong.   Destiny didn’t want a full out war, however she wanted retribution.  It didn’t matter that these people weren’t really…. All there… But still.  What happened was rude.. Not just to the Amazonian females, but what happened to everyone.  Destiny let out a small sigh.  She was just about to put down the giant branch when she heard Claim mention something about the incidents that had occurred with him.  Destiny roared in anger.  “YOU LITTLE SON OF A!!!† She brought the giant branch above her head and, with all her might, brought it crashing down onto Claim’s head.  

Destiny let go of the giant branch and walked away; and for a few seconds it sat on Claim’s head until the unevenness caused the giant branch to fall on the side that was directly across of Claim.  “HMPH! That’s what you get.† She said as she walked away towards her little nephew.  Destiny patted him on the head.  “Just please.. Be more cautious next time?†she said to him as she smiled. 

Destiny just looked on as Sol kept on grabbing more snow and adding into the amount of snow that he had.  She looked at the ground outside the entrance of the cavern where Sol was grabbing the snow from.  She really didn’t know what to say.  Destiny’s eyes went out to the snowy abyss that trapped them in there in the first place.  Her stomach felt uneasy and what Sol was saying to her didn’t help her either.  Destiny bit her lip as she thought to herself for a moment.  “Sol….†She chuckled to herself for a moment,   â€œâ€¦Bastion….I…I just…I wish….I just wish I could tell you…â€

Destiny quickly glimpsed at Sol.  He was still messing around with the snow in his hand.  Destiny reached out and grabbed Sol’s cold and clammy hands.  She wrapped her palm around his first three fingers.  Destiny looked up at Sol; “He’s really…tall….I never noticed…† and smiled as she said,  “I’m not going to die here, Sol.  You don’t need to worry about that.† 

Destiny looked out at her hand that was in the snow. She turned and looked at Sol. Observing what he was doing. She watched as Sol bent over to ball up snow into his hand. She looked at his hand that had the snow ball in it as she listened to what he said. Destiny blushed as she was thinking about what Sol had said. I don't know what to say... I just.. I just... I don't... I don't know how he feels.

"Ummm... uh... Why do you ask?" Destiny kept her eyes on the snow ball that was in Sol's hand. Destiny was shaking inside. She didn't know what to say and was too scared to say much at all.
