Destiny

Destiny looked at her nephew as he spoke.  She practically wanted to push him down and punch some sense into him.  It seemed as though he wanted others to be happy however, it seemed as he didn't seem to want be happy himself.  "Destiny then brought her attention to the others,  "Yes, don't try to pay us back because we won't take it." she said as she smiled and grabbed on to her nephews arm and linked hers with hers.  The family resemblance was sparse but it was there.  "So?" she said to everyone, waiting on their answer. 

Destiny continued to kick at the ground until Alonne had mentioned it.  She immediately stopped, and said, "I'm not nervous.  In fact you acting the way that you are right now is making me uncomfortable. You're not being yourself and I can feel it.  I can feel the tension.  What's wrong? Seriously, Alonne, whats wrong?"  Destiny paused and looked to the side, "Its fine.. Last time... Don't worry about it, okay?" she said softly to him.  Destiny looked to the side and then checked the time.  "Do you want to talk about this over some tea or coffee? " 

"Hey!" she said as they continued to walk towards town.  Destiny got up on her toes and wrapped an arm around Arekkusu's shoulders and pulled his head closer to hers.  Their heads bumped lightly.  Destiny used her other hand and gave him a piece of candy. "Like the good ole' days."  she said with a smile.  They were getting closer to town now and she didn't want to embarrass him too much, so Destiny let go of her grip on her nephew.  "Well...?" she said to him, unsure of when their paths would ever cross again.  "Goodbye little one." she said as she looked up at her nephew.  Granted that he was older and taller, in her eyes, her nephew was still that little little boy to her.  Destiny smiled as she waved goodbye to him and headed off to the upper levels.  "I'll see you around!"  she called back at him, she waved.  "You stay safe!"

Destiny looked at Alonne.  "Are you okay?" she said with an eyebrow lifted.  It wasn't like him to be acting this way.  Destiny thought back on when they first met.  "He is acting so weird... This is nothing like how he ususally is...."  Destiny shivered a bit at what happened.  It was a strange moment for her.  Something that she wasn't used to at all. "I am actually going through here to meet up with someone."  she said softly.  Destiny was off to anothier quest, and she wasn't actually sure who would be there but she hoped that it would be people that she knew well and cared about.  It was better than bringing in newcomers who didn't know how to battle on the battlefield.  "Its been a while.." she said as she scuffed up some of the ground below her with her foot. 

Destiny was nodding on and off. She loved the song that the two had sun and found that their voices together were so beautiful.  She was about to fall over and fall asleep until she heard her young nephew say things about a place to day.  "Hm?" she said as she rubbed her eyes awake.  "Oh yes... Umm.. Once I do buy myself a place to live.... You are all free to stop by, eat and rest up there.  Free of charge."  she said with a smile.  It was a long day for Destiny and she longed to see someone but she didn't know where they were.  She also didn't want to bother them.  Destiny rubbed her red ribbon that was tied to her wrist.  She thought about the promise.  "And, well.." Destiny looked at Arekkusu.  "I don't think either of us want to see others perish." 

"Alright!" Destiny backed away from her nephew and gave him a thumbs up.  Destiny was happy, and nearly overjoyed with the idea of helping her little nephew find a person to care about.  "Well....Shall we get started?" she asked as she rubbed her hands together and stood up.  Destiny looked down at her nephew and gave him a hand.  She was ready to go, and ready to head back to town and see where their adventure could lead them to.  "Well...Are you going to take my hand or what?" she asked him as she looked down at him 

Destiny jumped up in excitement.  "YES YES YES!!" she shouted as she slammed on the table infront of them.  Her glass tipped over and the contents fell on the side.  Destiny waved it off like it was nothing.  "YES YES!! PLEASE!!"  she cried to the two. 

"Pyro!"  Destiny jumped off of Sousuke's back to bear hug/tackle Pyro.  It had been far too long since she had seen Pyro.  It was since the time that she dove behind a bar and Pyro had a mug on her head that she had seen the young lady.  "How have you been?!"  Destiny squeezed her and then let go to look at her face. "I've missed you so much!" She squeezed her again and then let her go.  This patterened continued until Destiny ran out of things to say at Pyro or question her.  Destiny finally let her go.  Destiny held her hands together as she waited for Pyro's response.  Her right index finger rubbing the red ribbon on her wrist.  She was thinking about someone. 

Destiny smiled as she watched what was going on between the two players that she was barely aquantied with.  It reminded her of the things that had happened back at home.  "Say," she said with a rather high pitched, chipper tone.  Destiny brought her index finger to the side of her chin.  "Do you think you two, immaculate singers, could sing a duet?" Destiny switched her gaze back and forth between the two as she waited for their answer. 

Destiny blushed as she felt Kosan wrap his hand around her, bringing herself closer to him.  She listened to him state twice that she would do his best not to die.  This made her smile.  It was until she heard what he had said about her promising not to die.  "Uhh...I'll do my best Kosan."  she said as she looked up at him.  "I will do my upmost best not to die."  she smiled at him as she said,  "Also, how can I die?!  You have given me such great weapons and tools that I can use to fight off my foes!"  Destiny broke away from Kosan's grasps as she did a movement like she was sword fighting an imaginative person. 

Destiny pointed at the sky and said, "Look.  The stars." she smiled as he looked up at them.  Destiny held her grip on Kosan's hand.  She hoped that maybe this moment would possibly give him something to live for.  That moments like this, though far and few, are what gives one hope.  Hope to go on. "I would never want you to die, or any of us to die." she said as she continue to look up at the star lit sky.  "Thought sometimes in life, it seems that finding somehting that we want is hard. It is finding it that is the true reward."  Destiny looked at Kosan.  "So please, don't give up." 

"Hey hey~" she said softly to Kosan.  Destiny moved over to Kosan and put her hand on his back.  She moved it from side to side in a comforting manner.  "I would care if you died." she said softly into his ear.  Destiny wrapped her arms around Kosan's shoulders and snuggled against him.  "I would be sad if you died, Kosan.  So please, do your best not to."  Destiny took Kosan by the hand and lead him outside of the eatery and to the outskirts of town.  

"Hey~" she said softly as she looked down at her food.  Destiny was shocked when Kosan hugged her.  "Um..What..." she said after he had released her from his arms.  Destiny was still a bit confused about things.  She waited until he sat down again and she looked at him and asked,  "What happened?" she sounded solumn and curious.  Destiny reached out and put her hand on his, as if to say, its okay to tell me. 

"Alright then...Then a toast to our lives, and living them to the fullest extent that we can!" She responded to the others.  Destiny took a gulp after she said it.  Destiny questioned many things; the peopel she met here, their loyalties and her trust in others.  Sometimes she would be able to look at the bright side of it all, but at times it pained her to think that it could be all wiped away. 

Destiny looked at the two.  She wsas a bit sad, longing for something more, something that she yearned for but refused to speak of.  "Well....I guess I might as well as go and say hello..."  she said to herself.  Destiny wasn't one to start informing others abut her desires or even about her worries.  Destiny wiped a single tear from her eye and started to sprint.  Destiny dove at her youngest cousin.  She tackled him from behind.  "Hey Sousuke!" she said cheerfully with a big smile. 

Destiny was shocked, and actually ataken back a bit at Kosan's reaction to her. Destiny stuttered a bit as she said, "O-o-okay...I'm s-s-sorry if I pushed any of your buttons.." she murmred as she hung her head low.  Destiny stared down at her food and drink.  "Well...Um...Fine day...Yes..Fine day isn't it?"  she said to him.  Destiny didn't know what to say after Kosan's reaction.  She had dealt with people yelling at her before but it wasn't something that she was used to with Kosan. 

"Well......" she said as she looked at her nephew.  Destiny was awaiting his answer.  "Will you let me help you find your true love?"  Destiny moved closer to her nephew, and was awkwardly close to his face.  "PLEASE!? PWEAASSEE?" Destiny wanted to be appart of this.  If she could help anyone fall in love, or find some sort of happiness, it would make her happest. 

Destiny looked around at the newer players, they all seemed so.. fresh.  Destiny snorted when she heard Arekkusu offer a toast to Sousuke.  "Yeah... Like he needs one.." she said as she shoved him.  "Well.... There is still an abundance amount of food around here, so...I guess one could."  she shrugged after she finished her statement.  Destiny grabbed some food and shoved it into her mouth.  "Well....Speak then?" she said as she looked at her two relatives.  Destiny didn't expect anyone that she just met today to give a speech, but if they had a way with words; she wouldn't mind it. 

"Psh." she spat at her nephew.  Destiny crossed her arms and looked at her legs and the ground infront of her.  "There are plenty of things that I think and believe, my little nephew. "  She said as she patted Arekkusu on the head.  "It is all a matter of if I have faith or hope in those thoughts or beliefs."  Destiny stopped patting Arekkusu on the head and then looked at him.  She moved her hand to his cheek and gave a little pinch before she said, "Well, enough about.  I want to help you."  Destiny stood up and took a victory stance.  "IN YOUR QUEST FOR LOVE!" 

Destiny felt the apple hit her head and roll back onto the ground “OH MY GOD YOU LITTLE BRAT!!†she screamed.  Destiny picked up the apple and threw it back at Arekkusu and then started grabbing everything in sight to throw back at him.  “You came to me for some advice, and this is what I get?!† She threw branches, some dirt and even a pile of leaves.  Destiny took in a deep breath and let it out.  She calmed her nerves as she said,  “Even if she is supposedly with someone, I still think it’s worth telling someone how you feel…Even if..†she was starting to get choked up on her own words, “…if it seems impossible that you’ll ever be with them.  Its worth having that glimpse of hope instead of snuffing it out.† 

Destiny made a slight hand gesture to Sol, as if to say that she was alright, she half smiled at him but it quickly faded when she turned away.  Destiny then went in for another attack, Destiny rushed in and struck a hard blow at the bandit.  The slash ran across the bandit’s upper torso and left a deep  red gash.  Destiny was being fueled by her anger, but where it was from she wasn’t even clearly aware.  Unfortunately, she was not fast enough to move away from the bandit’s desperate counter and was cut away at as well.  Destiny backed away from the bandit.  She turned away from the others as she gritted her teeth, “What if…What if I can’t do this…†she thought to herself.
