Destiny

Destiny smiled when she saw her younger cousin.  "Hello Sousuke, have you seen the new and improved Christoff?"  she said as she made a hand movement that gestured toward Christoff.  "Also, I'm glad that you could join us.  It has been some fun here..." she said in a slightly uppity tone.  Destiny was rather happy however, there were some people here that she was just not too happy to see. "I wonder how many more we will be facing next time." she mumbled to herself. 

Destiny walked back into the tavern, her eyes were sad and looking at the ground. It wasn't until she heard a voice that she hadn't heard in what seemed like years that her ears perked up. Destiny looked up, and she couldn't believe her eyes. "Sousuke?!.... Sousuke!!" She nearly screamed. Destiny ran forth and jumped on her cousins back. The last time she saw him was when they all fought the MPE. "What are you doing here?" She asked him as she messed with his hair.

Destiny was hesitant when Sol turned to her. She felt even more unsteady when he looked directly into her eyes. It wasn't something she was used to, it seemed like they kept on looking into each others a lot recently. The longer her eyes were locked onto his the more she started the blush and the more she wanted to cry. There were so many things that she still wanted to tell him. Destiny listened to each and every word he said to her, it made her smile but at the same time fairly sad. Destiny looked down at the ground. And paused for a moment and thought. "Bastion..." She with a quivering tone. "....you know that even if I was in danger... I would never ask you to come to my aid, even if I was dying...I could never put you in that kind of danger..." She then ran into Sol's arms and wrapped her arms around his neck. Destiny hugged him tightly, as their bodies pressed together she was on the very tips of her toes, her lips trying to reach his ears. Destiny whispered, "...I simply care about you too much..." Destiny pushed off of Sol and ran off into the telegate. "Goodbye!" She called out as she ran.

 â€œHey!†she scolded him.  “I’ll be fine.  I promise.† Destiny winked at her cousin and blushed a bit.  She looked at the skeleton warrior that Christoff attacked at.  “Well…My turn.†She said with a slight smile.  Destiny was happy to be fighting alongside with her, dashingly handsome cousin, and her little nephew.  Now there was only the two dead things to deal with; Claim and the skeleton warrior.  Destiny pondered if others would be joining them but it wasn’t something she should be worried about.  Destiny ran forth, eyes concentrated on attacking the final enemy … for now.  She gripped her sword and she brought it forth in front of her.  Destiny ran and slashed at the skeleton warrior, dragging her sword across its side and she followed through, running to the opposite side of where she started.  “YES!†she cheered.  Destiny was overjoyed that she was able to help out and actually fight.

“HEY!†she yelled at Kosan.  “Are you talking about me under your breath?!  That’s kind of rude if you’re doing that!† she scolded him and then resumed eating her food again.  Destiny was taking large bites of her food in anger.  She filled her mouth full of food and then swallowed.  “Whell?†she asked him with a mouth full of food. 

Destiny sat, watched and listened as things seemed to go by so quickly.  It just seemed like everything was moving so fast.  "Am I tripping...?"  she thought to herself.  Destiny sighed and got up.  She wasn't bothered by anyone or anything.  It just... She felt somewhat...estrange.  Destiny walked to the door and opened it.  She walked through the door and stepped to the side.  Destiny rested her back on the brick and mortar and looked up at the sky.  The sun was going down, and it seemed that things were calming down in the world. 

"Darkness?" Destiny said in a surprised, nearly shouting tone. "What darkness?!" There had been many secrets that she had yet to reveal to even the ones she cared about the most. But when items of the horrid came even close to her young nephew, Destiny was far from elated when hearing the subject. "Abner, what are you not telling me?"

"My my...aren't you genetous, Arekkusu." Destiny said with her eyes closed and arma crossed. It wasn't until she laid her eyes on the newcomer that had approached the group. She blushed heavily. She tossed the newcomer a lemon poppy muffin, one of her favorites. "Yes, join us." She said softly.

Destiny turned back to the others. "Well... how are things.. for everyone... except you, Arekkusu, I know lots about you." She said as she smiled and winked at him.

Destiny took the bag of Col from her nephew. "Thank you hun." She said as she put both her hands on her nephews shoulders and pulled his head down and kissed his hair. Destiny them ran forth and into the eatery. She put her arm around the singer and handed him a drink. "Here you go." She said with a smile. Then Destiny ran around and place everyone in a seat. It was a table for four but rather anyone could pull up a chair. She ran to the counter and grabbed more drinks along with a tray full of food. She slammed it on the table and cheerfully said, "Enjoy!" There was a mountain of food and many beverages for them all. There were pitchers full of every kind kind of drink. Destiny plopped down into a seat across from Arekkusu and next to the singer. She was sitting diagonally across from the newest player.

Destiny patted the newest player on the head and proceeded to say, "Don't worry about it. Everything is on the house." She said as she smiled and winked at the new acquaintance. Destiny gave them a thumbs up and paused for a second. She looked back and saw that the singer was joining. But her nephew had yet to say anything. "Well Arekkusu?"

Destiny looked around at the other's as they all spoke.  It seemed as though her little nephew was more popular than she had thought.  "Well.. Unless if you all want to stand around here and do nothing, we could all go and grab some grub.  It would be rather nice..."  She said as she started to walk away from the group.  Destiny turned back and looked at them when she said,  "And all of its on me."  she winked at the group and gave them a little wave as she walked to the place where she was thinking to eat.  

“You’re welcome!†she mumbled as she continued eating.  It had been a while since Destiny had eaten and well, just the thought of eating felt good.  Not to mention the feeling of eating felt quite well as well.  Destiny nearly choked when she heard Kosan’s question.  Her face turned scarlet.  “W-w-well….†She said softly as she gulped down the rest of the food in her mouth.  “I…I don’t know.. I guess… I guess I can’t-…. I mean haven’t!!† she stuttered out the words.  Destiny stopped eating her food and looked down at it.  She swirled her index finger on the table.  “Have you?.....found a significant other…?† She didn’t want for a response and continued speaking on.  “I just…I don’t think I could ever fall in love here…..I’m sorry!† she snapped out of her mood due to the fact that she felt selfish.  “Now, tell me about yourself!! Have you found someone?!† she nearly yelled out him when she turned to look at him. Destiny wanted the attention off of herself and on someone else. 

"You're voice is very beautiful.." Destiny murmured as she approached the stranger.  She smiled and held out her hand to the stranger.  "Hello.." she said warmly. " My name is Destiny."  Destiny looked past the singer and saw a rather familiar face.  "Why hello there."  she said to Arekkusu as she waved to him with her finger tips. It had been not too long since she had seen her nephew and she was; as always, happy to see him.

Destiny smiled at Kosan.  "I'm good.. I'm actually great!"  She giggled a bit as she continued to speak.  "A lot thanks to you actually.  With your black smith abilities I have been able to defend myself and actually be capable in a fight."  Destiny smiled at Kosan.  She was very thankful for his help and that in all honesty, if she didn't seek his help she wouldn''t have been able to keep herself alive.  "Thank you so much for the items that you made for me.  I can't thank you enough."  At that moment the food that Destiny had ordered for the both of them was placed in front of him and her.  "Ah!  Eat up!" she said cheerfully. 

"Okay!"  Destiny called back cheerfully.  "Well, I hope you like a strange mix of foods!"  she called back as she pushed opened the door and continued to hold her grip on Kosan.  Destiny held onto him until she reached a table and then let go of him as she made her way to her seat.  "Sit..Sit.." she said as did a motion with her hands.  Destiny then walked over to the counter and ordered some beverages for them.  She walked back to the table that Kosan was at and put one drink down in front of him and sat down across from Kosan.  "Well." she said softly as she took a drink.  "How are you Kosan?" she said as she tilted her head to the side.  

Destiny was upset, or even possibly beyond upset. The silver haired fellow made a fool of her and it was something that she didn't enjoy. Destiny growled a bit at her estrange companion and wasn't really in the mood to say too much. She didn't enjoyed him, and in fact she was still cooling off from the three's misadventure party. Destiny ran forth and slashed at the bandit, however, she was a bit too eager and upset to move out of the way and dodge the Bandit's counter attack. Destiny jumped back and stumbled a bit. She wasn't entirely expecting to get hit, however, it happened.

Destiny blushed when her cousin helped her up.  “Uh.. No.. Nothing on your face..your beautiful face..† she said softly.  Destiny watched as Christoff ran forth and attacked the skeleton warrior.  She also watched as the skeleton warrior slashed into her cousin.  “Christoff!!† she called out at her dashing cousin.  Destiny gripped the hilt of her blade and ran forth to cut away at the same skeleton warrior.  Destiny slashed up on the skeleton warriors torso and across to its clavicle.  She then ran past the skeleton warrior and to her cousin where she leapt into his arms.  “Christoff, here..†she said as she kissed him once on the cheek, healing him.

"Ehh.."  Destiny cringed at what Arekkusu said.  Not only did some things feel futile but she was torn in two about the whole concept of the game and the fact that they were stuck there but there was so much that tied her to this world.  "Well..This game is....Complicated."  she said in a rather lopsided tone.  "Abner, do you love them?"  she asked him.  Destiny wanted to know if it was possible to actually love someone that one would have met in the game. 

Destiny’s smile was even more elated when she saw Sol smiling back at her.  For some reason when he smiled and was content it made her heart flutter a bit.  This scared her a bit, for the longest time she thought she didn’t have a heart.  That she was heartless.  “Alright.† She said softly as she nodded.  It wasn’t until after she had noticed Sol’s grasps on her hand that she remembered what she had told him.  Destiny blushed intensely and started to feel queasy.  “Umm..uh..Alright..† she said shyly. 

Destiny looked at her nephew and then back at the scarecrow of a man.  “Well…Alright then. “ she said as she turned on the balls of her feet.  Destiny walked towards the very place that she had rescued them from with her arms crossed.  As she walked out of the shrubbery and in a rather clear area she looked lightly over her shoulder to check that they were following.  Destiny saw her nephew following not to far behind and as she continued to walk she finally saw the zombie man, still holding himself together; barely.  They all continued to walk towards the place where the entire issue began the Amazon.

Diana moved her gaze away from that of her nephews.  She lightly sighed and then looked at the ground before looking back at her nephew.  “I’m fine.  I just have been there and done that.† She said as she looked back into her nephews eyes.  “Now… When you tell this girl that you care for her.  Make sure that it would be the right moment to.. Okay?† she said to him as she reached out and cupped her little nephew’s face in one of her hands.  It was strange that she was so motherly, but in the real world, this was the truest of true of who Diana was. Diana cared about those she loved so deeply, even if she didn't express it. 

“Ahh… Yet you are simply a boy, and not a man, and yet the idea of the friend zone frightens you.† Destiny took in a deep breath and thought some more to herself.  “Abner.. Have you ever thought of just telling the girl how you feel?  And your affections?  I mean, that would probably be the best thing to do.  I know that you’re scared of rejection.  However, I think that the worst thing would be never having a chance to tell the one that you care about your affections.  That is, never having a chance at something great and beautiful; like love.† Destiny turned to look at her little nephew and looked upon him with eyes of sincerity and sorrow.  Diana had been though this many times, and there were times that she regretted her decisions and other times where it was the best. 

Destiny closed her eyes and rested her back and head on the tree.  She thought for a bit and then said,  “Hmm… And what is the issue? “  She didn’t want to pry too much.  She wanted her nephew to explain things in his own words and for her to just listen and deduct what would be the best solution for him.  Though she did not want to deliberately give him his own actions, she wanted to guide him to the solution.
