just made it and your ggo stuff levels in a different way to sao so you can do both and neither effects the other and death in ggo isn't permanent only sao death ends your character so like I said you can do ggo at the same time with the same character if you wished to like I myself am doing since you gain stats in different ways than you do in sao

you can carry on your sao character there or make a new one but bear in mind if you die in SAO all your GGO stuff is considered non canon because your character would have never existed in ggo
