Sousuke

Sousuke nodded in agreement he hadn't had breakfast food in a good while in fact all he had eaten was pretty much bread and water since when he was away hardly stopped into town at all and when he did all he grabbed was a few hundred bread and bottles of water to keep him going. The thought of pancakes with syrup made his mouth water.

"Oh I'd love that I havnt eaten real food in so long you wouldn't think I was human." He said as he chuckled a little. 

"Anyway I never asked what we're you doing when I was up on the front lines clearing the way for the guilds?" He asked as casual as possible hoping she didn't scold him for the dangers he had put himself through.

Manta complemented him on his looks and he nodded curtly as he accepted her compliment with a smile when asked about what he had been up to he hadn't really been doing a lot just wandering really waiting for today, although there was that meeting with her friend he had had.

"I saw Your friend Kou earlier actually you know I really can't figure her out though I can't place my finger on it but something seems off." He told her as he began to lead the way down the street at a gentle pace taking her hand in his.

Sousuke had just finished getting his hair cut back to his old style it was scruffy and wild but was now short and looked much neater than his longer hair did. He was wearing a long sleeve t-shirt which was a dark greyish colour and a pair of plain navy jeans with white sneakers. It wasn't much but it looked good on him and since Manta told him they we going to a restaurant he figured to go with a more casual look. He had a slight stubble giving him a rugged look about him but it wasn't to the point where he looked scruffy. 

He approached Mantas shop with a slight spring in his step to say he was excited was an understatement. It was only a little get together but he couldn't wait to see her. He saw her outside her shop waiting patiently for him and called out to her. As he approached he spoke.

"Hey sorry to keep you waiting, it's great to see you again." He said giving her a gentle hug before releasing her and taking a good look at her. "You look really nice I like the casual look on you." He finished as he gave her a little smile.

Sousuke was wandering around floor one, unsure as to why he was there. Usually he would wander the second floor looking for some newish players to help out or he would be spending time with Manta. He sat down on the edge of a fountain that a few people seemed to have taken a liking to and sighed to himself. Manta was busy working her shop and he was just killing time till she got done. What he wouldn't do for something intresting to happen right now to keep him entertained. Boredom was not something he enjoyed and he was adamant that he wouldn't stay bored for long. But what could he do?

Sousuke shook his head at Kou who seemed to think him unfaithful. He only had eyes for Manta and the only reason he looked at Kou in the first place was because he wasn't sure of her gender at the time.

"Kou I was only checking if you was a girl you know!" He called after her as she ran off ahead. He squeezed Mantas hand and leaned over her to give her a quick peck on the lips before nodding in the direction Kou had ran of in. 

"We had better go after her hadn't we?" He said as he began to lead the way.

Sousuke scratched Mantas ear gently as she spoke, he swore she shivered a little under his touch so he figured she enjoyed it. He watched the as her tail swished about gracefully and against the snowy back drop she looked beautiful.

"Gosh your beautiful." He said out loud. He blushed instantly and looked away embarrassed that he said it in front of her friend. It wasn't that he didn't want to say it but he didn't want Kou to feel uncomfortable with them doing couple stuff around her. Still he was glad he said it because he could have sworn Manta was grinning even though he couldn't see her face.

Sousuke at the moment became dumb struck at what just happened. Now he wasn't into that whole cat girl think but Manta looked absolutely adorable with Fox ears and a tail she was waging her tail behind her and he couldn't help but hug her.

"Wow you look so cute I have to admit it looks good on you, say do you have any other other potions about maybe me and Kou could turn into something too." He exlaimed as he kisses her on the cheek. He also loved how the coat looked on her and it suited her perfectly he at least had good taste in clothes.

Sousuke stood there just blinking stupidly with a large red hand print on his face and Manta pulled him closer he stood there for a second as she poked the girl a few times and stood looking like she was deep in thought then he remembered the present he had bought her. He looked at the box in his free hand before holding it out and stood there looking a little dumb

"Erm... Present." He said before mentally slapping himself. Really Sousuke is that the best you can do? He thought to him self. That girls slap must have knocked a few screws loose.

Sousuke took the kiss as a good sign he certainly had managed to start things off on the right track again at least his hair was definitely a mess and he thought he should go back to his old short scruffy look. He accepted her friend request and took her hand and gently kissed her knuckles. He thought it was a little cheesy but girls like that stuff right? 

"I'll see you at your shop then soon I'm sure." He told her. Speaking of which he wondered if his was still there and what mats he had left over. He figured he'd go gather some up first before he headed back there.

Sousuke blushed furiously at what the girl said to him he had a girlfriend and her friend just caught him looking at her chest. It completely threw him off and he instantly went on the defensive shaking his head furiously while waving his hands in a comical fashion. 

"Oh wait no I didn't mean I erm no wait your Manta's friend and I ... Oh heck" he finished before lowering his head in defeat . This was not going to bode well with Manta when she here's about this.

He quickly cleared his throat and pointed at the other girl.

"Erm yea name?" He asked like a complete idiot.

Sousuke was thrown off balance as that girl who a friend of Manta's bumped into him. He stumbled and was about to say something when she mentioned blobs he looked up and was about to say something before Manta scolded him. He blushed furiously at what she said because he remembered a time when they spent a few nights together. 

"Hey hey hold up I was trying figure out if she was a girl or not I still can't figure it out and you know I only look at yours ... Wait I didn't say that I mean errrrm ..." He found could finish that sentence and looked away sheepishly.

I'm up for anything too maybe the three of us could do a thread?

Sousuke smiled at Manta as she won and then was taken aback when she hugged him he was about to hug her back when she jumped back and before he could say anything she told him to put a shirt on. He laughed as he pulled a plain white shirt on that framed his body perfectly leaving little to the imagination although it wasn't tight enough to make him seem like a show off. When she told him she missed him he smiled even more picking her up and spinning her round laughing. 

"I missed you too, I still can't believe it's you." He exclaimed as he put her down. He wondered how this could get any better and then he thought for a way to get things back on track.

"How bout a date just you and me, we can catch up with each other go grab a drink somewhere quiet you choose and I'll pay, I need a haircut first though." He said flicking his hair out of his face again.

Sousuke dropped from the warp zone into the frozen city looking for Manta. She had dropped him an invite to a boss fight and he couldn't wait to see her again. He dropped his hood as the snow didn't bother him and he didn't wear it when she was around he wanted her to see his face not a hood. He had also brought along a nice warm jacket for her with a fluffy hood. It didn't have any special effects but it should keep her warm. He walked to the meeting spot and waved at her when he saw her carrying the box under his arm with the cyan blue coat inside.

Sousuke was hit hard and it took him by suprise. Manta had certainly learned some new tricks but Sousuke wasn't going to just give up just like that he didn't want to expend his stamina just yet though on sword skills so he decided to just break the stun and go for a basic attack.

The stun had really took its toll however so he missed completely when he rushed forward and gas to correct his position. He grunted in frustration and turned to face Manta ready for her to finish the fight.

Sousuke watched as Manta thrust missing just inches to his left. He hadn't had to move at all but it was a close call, her speed threw him him off a bit and side stepped the wrong way missing his counter attack completely. He flipped his sword around around and gripped it with two hands skillfully setting into a kendo like stance.

"Youve certainly gotten a lot quicker, but you overcompensated for your speed focus on your target, don't forget I'm not a monster I'm a player I'm harder to predict." He told her. 

His time soloing had taught him the harsh reality of that, as he said it his scar glowed red just for a split second a painful reminder of old wounds.

"In the real world when I was a soldier a good soldier could counter attack but a great soldier was unpredictable."

Sousuke grinned at her confidence although she did seem a little nervous, her posture seemed off she was either to confident or was hiding something either way he wanted to see how this would play out. He grabbed his sword from the sheath and held it reverse like a dagger and readied himself dropping into a defenseman posture with his blade across his his body as the timer hit 0 he figured he would wait to see how she moves and plan accordingly.

"Your move." He said calmly waiting for her attack

Weapon: +1 dmg bleed 4 hp two turns on roll of 8 - 10 

Sousuke watched the speed of the girl as she whirled he spear around and nearly stabbed the other before asking if a wolf was his. He was impressed by her speed although she moved clumsily. He figured this girl knew how to fight in real world but in here it was more difficult to get used to.

"Skills outside of the game mean nothing her you know." He directed to the first.

"As you miss I know your name from a friend of yours, she also happens to be my girlfriend perhaps you know who I'm on about?" He asked. He was pretty sure this it her person was female from the looks of her although she did seem to have rather small ... Assets.

Sousuke decided this was probably going to be quite interesting regardless of outcome he decided that since Manta seemed to want to give it her all he would too. He dropped his stance a second and took a small piece of cloth from his pocket. He then used it to tie his hair up into a short pony tail so his hair wouldn't get in his way at all.

"Guess we doing this then' might as well go all out hadn't we, like you said it's the best way to get to know someone in this place." He took off his coat and boots revealing he was shirtless underneath showing his well toned body. He wore nothing but a simple pair of jeans and sneakers for the fight.

"I'll take my armour off myself I'd rather fight you with only my own skill you can keep yours on if you like." He said as he accepted the duel request.

Sousuke had been watching the two for quite some time one was a girl who looked extremely new to the game and the other he had heard of only by name and it from Manta his girlfriend.

He approached the two just as the second person tried to catch the firsts attention.

(OOC sorry due to your first person writing I kind of cant figure if your character is male or female koumori so I'll just refer to your character by name)

He looked at the second who was trying get the girls attention and spoke. "I don't think anyone is in right now koumori." He said giving no indication as to how her knew this person's name.

Sousuke winced as she lightly tapped his head with her sword. He was glad to see that she hadn't changed to much and yet at the same time so much. She described her gear and he shrugged his was damage mitigation 2 and evasion 2 since he wore two pieces himself. It wasn't as impressive as manta's set however.

"Better than my gear I havnt upgraded at all since I left, same old sword and same old coat that was my brothers." He told her. When she suggested they fight however he was taken back a little.

"If you want to I don't see why not but you'd most likely win I havnt gotten into a decent fight for a while." He explained. Sure this was true but he doubted his own skill more than anything. He had faced some bosses solo and lived to tell the tale but when it came to fighting against other players he wasn't sure he'd be at his best, and this was Manta, the last thing he wanted to do was hurt her more than he already had.

He took a few steps back and grabbed his sword placed it over his shoulder onto his back. It was a comfort thing to him despite being strategically weaker due to the longer unsheathing time. 

"Knockback only right?" He asked and his fingers found there way to his blades hilt his fingers wavering hesitantly.

Sousuke looked up as Manta re introduced herself. She was right, starting over was a good idea he could tell they had both changed and he didn't want to lose her even if she wasn't the exact same girl he knew.

"I'm Sousuke, it's a pleasure." He said to her in reply grinning a little. The first smile in a long long time. It wasn't much but it was a start.

He bowed to her and added "Thank you for this second chance." He said politely before standing back up and taking in her looks. Her hair was slightly longer and she had ... Matured quite well it seemed and Rogaine has to look away slightly as his face heated up in embarassment.

Sousuke managed to regain his composure after a little while the only sounds were his sobbing and Manta breathing softly. He felt her sword hand twitch towards the hilt of her blade and he gently released her stepping back just a little and brushed his hair from his face simultaneously sipping his eyes. He instantly assumed she was mad at him but the look in her eyes spelled fear. 

"Your afraid of me arnt you." He whispered softly. He unfastned his sword from his belt and set it on the side of the fountain to show he had no intention to hurt her.

"I may not look like your Sousuke but I still love you, the day I left was a mistake I should never have made and leaving you alone tore me apart I promised I'd never leave and I broke it." He whispered hanging his head his hair hiding his face.

Sousuke slowly came back to his senses still struggling with his emotions, unsure what he should be feeling. Settling for happiness he stepped into the fountain and gently pulled Manta to her feet before wrapping his arms around her not caring that she was soaking wet. He held her there taking in her scent and reliving so many moments in his head tears coming to his eyes again. 

"I'm So sorry I didn't contact you." He whispered between quiet sobs trying not to completely break down.
