Ariel - The Crowned Lion

She charged at the wolf head-on aiming for its forehead thinking "You're mine now wolfy, now  give me something good." But the wolf gathered leaped from its spot and opened his jaws baring its fangs at her. Its target was her neck. Ariel then skillfully evaded his bite and re adjust her aim, striking the beasts stomach. As she fell down from the momentum the wolf's dead body scattered into polygons leaving behind only a item named "Wolf's fur".

She found herself walking on the road towards the northern exits, she knew a fairly remote spot where wolf's spawned. Most likely she was going to be alone there. Once she reached the place after 30 minutes of walking, she sees a lone wolf. "Excellent" she thought as she unsheathed her rapier and started running towards the wolf. First strike was a success hit as the wolf was caught off guard by her attack. She struck the beast in its back with pinpoint precision.

After a good night of sleep, she went to the shop for a few hours doing her best at finishing her current orders. After she finished for the day the sun was still up, judging by its position it was about 3 or 4 P.M. Opening her status window she finds out that is exactly 3:44 PM. She closes the window and starts preparing to close the shop for the day. She wanted to do some more training and thought about where to go. "I think today imma go get me some wolf fur for the boots. Yeah, even though its not as resistant as the Dire Wolf's fur located at the 4^th floor its still pretty good.

She started again working, but she was a little tired and doozed off after doing a half ruined boot.

it appears she was at the right place. She then started introducing herself: "Don't mind if I do, firstly my full name is Kayla Ariel D'Sole. As you can see I wield a rapier-type weapon."She unsheathed her new weapon she received for free from the little blacksmith girl a few days ago. It was a beautifully crafted rapier, with unusual black blade and a (cross)guard that had the form of rose leaves. "As you can guess I'm a DPS, or better said a damage dealer. I lack in armor for now, but I'm working on acquiring some nice light armor." She placed the blade with the tip facing down and gently stabbed the earth, while placing her hands over the pommel, assuming a guar-like stance. "I also have recently opened a Tailoring shop on the 4^th floor, below. But decided to close up early today, so that I may join you guys on this quest. The shops name is "The Lion's Den", so don't hesitate to come by and say "HI" sometime. Who knows maybe I'll make you a good deal." She let out a big smile while saying that.

The pick the item and sees that it was a "Dire wolf's hide". With a couple of hand gestures she summons her inventory and stores the item. She was about to change to the HUD map but then she heard a growl..."Please let it be my stomach" she silently prayed and slowly turned around.

"Oh censored.... srsly?" she mumbled in a low voice as 2 more Dire wolfs were approaching her in front of her. She didn't knew what to do..to start running or to fight. She then spotted with the corner of her eye a [Good] Monster Grenade, she took it out the crystal and starts charging towards them and throws it at them. Then she starts running towards the closest one striking it while it is distracted.

Ariel shrugged, this wolf were more ferocious than those at the 1^st floor. She charged at it again, she had a difficult time gaining momentum with the tall snow everywhere. But that applied to the wolf as well, its charge was significantly slower than the ones below. They were at striking distance of each other, Ariel thrusted her black rapier forward, aiming at the wolf's forehead. The wolf suddenly leaped towards her, trying to evade the blade, but he got struck as Ariel immediately adjusted her aim and hit its forehead with pinpoint accuracy. But she could not evade the large wolf, as it came flying in the air towards her. She got knocked out of her feet falling on her back and taking damage from the large mass that just hit her. Pushing the dead wolf aside, its figure shattered into dozens a polygons leaving behind only a item.

Today Ariel was on the 5^th floor, following her map to a specific meeting place. After communicating with a group about joining a quest, she decided to close the shop for the day and go to the 5^th floor to meet them. She didn't knew how they looked, as they briefly communicated only by written messages (PMs). She was excited to see with whom she will embark onto this new adventure.

As she nearly reached the meeting place she could see a couple of people chatting in the shade of a tree. She approached them smiling and waves, while greeting them. "Hello, my name is Ariel. I talked with Raeyliff via PMs about a doing a group quest. Is this the right meeting place?"

Ariel decided to let inspiration drive her this time so she started cutting some material and stuff. Before she was aware she had finished a pair of black army boots that had a camouflage pattern on then. She took a look over the order form, none of the descriptions matched what she'd made.

"Guess Imma keep these for myself then."

Ariel went to the back room and started working on another item. Something was bothering her so she didn't manage to concentrate enough..

Ariel was in some random spot at the 4th floor, searching for something through the snow storm. For that purpose she borrowed the Blue Robe of the Sea God, she made a day ago at the shop . She needed a specific material for one of her orders, a pair of dual fire boots that were for Arekk. Quite a strange place she chose to search, right? in the middle of a snowy hell/paradise, depending on each person's preferences. But the snow didn't bother her much, she quite enjoyed it.She was searching for a dire wolf to slay, she heard from her teacher, while under [Tailor] training, that the best material for dmg mitigation items was the Dire Wolf's hide. So that was the reason she was wandering around aimlessly.

After a while she finally spotted a lone "Dire wolf", as soon as she verified it's the mob she wanted she started running towards it, hoping to surprise attack it. The hit landed successfully, stabbing the wolf in its back. But it sensed her when she was running towards it and it charged at her, successfully landing a attack as well.

Ariel was happy to see another guild member joining them. When she introduced herself as Rebekah, Ariel made a slight bow and then saying in a somehow nervous tone while slightly blushing: "Hello, my name is Ariel, N..Nice to meet you!" she then took a closer look at the girls appearance. She was happy to see a fellow rapier user. She had mixed feelings about acknowledging people that looked younger than her, as her superiors. But in the end here, age was of little importance, as she painfully learned...

She then turned Brown haired man that was taller than her. As he introduced himself with a friendly smile, Ariel couldn't help but to notice that he was a orange player. She has heard of then, Pkers. She had a discussion about them with the guild master and DrakeWing about them. But she could not restrain from taking a couple of steps back, finding herself looking at him from behind the guild master's heavy armor.

She sat on the ground for a while, gazing at the moon, but also keeping a lookout for any other mob that might want to disturb her. Fortunately there were none nearby, so she continued lying on her back thinking." In the end, I guess I need to train more and get some better items. Damn mechanics, making me feel so powerless." she then raises her hand and makes a gesture as if grabbing the full moon."But I will not lose, I'll become stranger, I'll use the game mechanics to my advantage then I'll join the "Front lines", ultimately becoming a "Clearer" so that I can return to father and resume my career. 

After a while Ariel got up and started walking towards the city."I'll come back tomorrow".

After 6 missed strikes Ariel was finally able to hit the boar again. But she had to get closer to it by having to walk in the shades where it laid hidden. When she got a glimpse in the corner of her eye that something was moving, she immediately turned and thrusted her rapier with godlike speed. He hit the boar in the back near the tail, but that didn't stop it from slamming into Ariel with all the momentum it gathered. They both rolled on the ground and the boar finally vanished into thousands of polygons while leaving behind only 1 boar hide (material). "After all that work you give me only this? guess you're an prick till the end, huh?"

Now she just wanted to end this... but the thing kept evading her. "Is this really the extend of my skills? missing this horrible creature that hides under the shade of a tree in this full moon night? What happened with me enjoying a nice evening training:(." With that in mind she kept trying to stab the beast one more time while receiving another blow from the side.

She was now enraged, this tiny computer generated animal was mocking her. All she wanted was to put it to sleep..permanently! but the little thing was agile and kept evading her swings. After one unsuccessful swing the boar pounced at Ariel and managed to hit her on the side.

 Even after she extracted her rapier, the boar was still dodging her strikes." When did killing a little pig like this get so hard, Jesus just die already" she was almost close to her limits. She wanted to kill this little guinea pig and get the loot. That was her only desire now. Even the goal of clearing the game, faded as her focus was 100% on the little creature squirming around and evading her hits.

It appeared that the last remark angried the boar. This was one tough little fella, she got to give him that. When she missed him, stabbing one of the trees roots instead, the beast immediately attacked her dealing critical damage. "Oh you still got fight in you huh? allow me to respond to that." She then raises her arm to her forehead removing imaginary sweat.

The boar continues to evade her hits, it doesn't even show a intent of attacking her. "Ho? did I scare you?S....T...E....A.....K??? I just had one 2 days ago and was dying to try it again, be sure to drop a good meat piece for me, will ya?"

As she pulled the 2 materials out of her inventory she let out a chuckle :

"K I'll keep that in mind:)) here you go." and handed them to him.

"Okay nice doing bussiness with you, I didn't originally planned to stop by but I'm glad I did. Good luck with future clients!" she stood up and before exiting she said

"And if you ever want to buy a piece of light armor or something like that, come by my shop The Lion's Den.Now I have to get back to lvling. See ya around!"

She then left the shop , resuming her initial route outside town she pulled a [Good] Monster grenade out of her inventory saying.

"Now, lets see that you can do!"

"Oh no I won't let you off the hook that easily, steak" and she tries to stab the boar but its evades and doesn't even try to attack back. Maybe hearing the forbidden word "steak" scarred him.

As she was stuck in the tree the boar another blow that proved critical. Recovering from the hit Ariel let out a raging cry: "DON'T GET SO FULL OF YOURSELF" the extracted the rapier and stabbed the boar in its belly. Pleased to see it retreating in the shade of the tree.
