  1. "I like it, I don't come all the time but this place offers a lot of options." With that statement, Thorrissia could certainly agree. She grinned delightfully at the steaming hot plate of steak and vegetables an NPC waiter placed in front of her, breathing in the mouth watering smell. "It certainly smells fantastic!" The girl agreed, ripping a great big bite out of her dinner and chewing ravenously on the sweet taste. This was the first real meal she'd ever eaten in game, as she'd mostly been surviving off of bread and water and the occasional cheesecake when chance permitted some luck, so being able to eat actual food brought true bliss to Thorrissia's stomach. "Thank you so much for this Golden. I really can't thank you enough. I promise I'll repay you at some point, although it might not be for a little bit." The brunette gave her dinner companion a small smile as he shoved a few spoonfuls of ice-cream into his mouth. "You know I'm actually lactose intolerant in real life. It's nice to be able to enjoy new things in here." Thorry laughed, nomming happily away on a pot of chocolate ice-cream.

The sudden attack from the boar left Thorrissia unbalanced and a little dazed, so when she took a swing at the beast with her weapon, the slice was badly aimed and the pig quite easily dodged the blow. However, the rather uncoordinated brunette did manage to get her wits together just enough to barely get out of the way of the squealing creature's knife like tusks. The exhausted and panting female swung awkwardly at the creature's face with her sword, missing spectacularly and landing with a crash on the ground as the pig managed to spear her once again. "I'm going to deep fry you into a thousand sausages you overgrown piece of bacon!" The brunette growled at the boar, spearing it with her weapon when the creature's guard was down. The angered pig squeaked hatefully at her and once again tried to butt at her with its facial weapons, but Thorry managed to narrowly avoid the impact.

  3. The bitter cold of the winds on floor four was unbearable. Thorrissia had been under the false impression that this floor would carry the same bone chill that the peaks of the floor two mountains did, but she couldn't be more wrong. The place was completely frozen and she didn't have the proper attire to stay warm up here. The brunette wondered aimlessly through the snow stained streets of Snowfrost Town, her teeth chattering painfully as she attempted to rub the cold out of her muscles. Little wet flakes of white clung onto her already damp hair, giving off the impression of a chilly snowman walking through the empty winter streets.

Seeing as there was clearly nothing for her in the city, the bedraggled looking girl wondered aimlessly out of the icy iron gates of Snowfrost Town in search of something to do. Maybe battle a few monsters would help her warm up a little. But not a few steps had the frozen young warrior trudged through the snow before a rather odd sight met her stormy pale green eyes. Underneath a large pine tree sat a boy, perhaps eighteen or nineteen. His dark eyes were fixed longingly into the sky as if there was nowhere else that he'd rather be than among them. Thorrissia stood there for a silent moment, observing him. He was going to freeze to death hanging around out here. Either that or get eaten by monsters. "Y'know, you can stare at them all night and they're not going to get any closer." The girl's voice interrupted his solitary silence. Normally she wouldn't jump in when people were clearly experiencing some sort of deep thought, but it looked like this fellow might do himself a harm if he didn't stop stargazing.

Thorrissia was instantly on the offensive as soon as her friend signalled for help, whipping her sword out and dashing quickly to Golden's aid. Unfortunately the girl was so focussed on slashing the big bear to ribbons that she did not notice the rock sticking up out of the ground. "Agh!" She yelped in surprise as the flint caught her foot, sending her sprawling in the dirt right in front of the monster's huge slavering jaws. Thorry's eyes flittered up from the ground into the large yellow canines of the bear's mouth, feeling ever so slightly scared by being inches away from its mouth. The beast's breath was foul, like rotten meat. The brunette rolled suddenly to her left, sensing the bear was about to strike. Luckily she'd been spot on and sharp teeth closed only on empty air instead of her head.

  5. "Don't worry about it." Thorry muttered gruffly in response to Carmine's apology, roughly shrugging off the incident as if it had never happened and focussed her stormy green eyes upon the scarlet haired woman who looked to be perhaps a decade older than herself, or a little less. Thorry wasn't really accustomed to making friends, but seeing as Carmine looked relatively unthreatening, why the heck not. She stood solidly for a moment, curiously studying the other woman as if trying to read her in a similar manner that a person might read a book, before responding "Sure. Why the hell not?" With a light shrug of her shoulders and a cool customer attitude. The brunette shoved her hands into her pockets, tilting her head skywards and focussing on a possibly very interesting cloud. "So, anywhere in particular you want to go?" Thorrissia asked with interest, fascinated by the new comer. "If you like, we can go and try and find some treasure traps to bust open while we fight? I've heard you can sometimes find a few chests out in the field if you look in the right places?" The brunette suggested casually, leaning easily against the very statue she'd earlier been crouching underneath.

So it was better to hold onto materials than sell them? Thorry filed the information away, hoping that it might come in useful. "You're sure I shouldn't sell them then? I'll keep that in mind." The girl said more to herself than to Dom, thinking quietly over the possible options for her in game future. "I've been thinking very vaguely about becoming an alchemist, although I'm not entirely sure if that's really what I want to do, or if I'll even choose a profession in the game. It's probably a decent way to earn some col though." The brunette mused thoughtfully as she rifled through the flower beds to try and find some more items. It took her a little while, but eventually she managed to snap another unsuspecting pansy from it's stalk and add the pretty petaled flower into her inventory.

"So, cooking. What induced you to take it up as a profession?" Thorrissia asked her gathering companion with interest, abandoning her search for a moment in order to hear the man's story. Perhaps if she understood why people chose the professions they did, it might make it easier for her to choose her own. Always good to hear an outside opinion.

  7. Thorrissia wasn't entirely sure what to say. Golden had been so incredibly kind to her and she wasn't sure how she'd ever repay him, although one day she most certainly would. The girl smiled warmly at him, feeling an exceptional rush of camaraderie to her fellow brunette warrior. "Dinner, would be fantastic." She stated with a devious grin, thinking over the wildly delicious foods that they were about to consume. Good god it was ages since she'd actually had a properly decent meal in this place.

The restaurant was not too over the top, but at the same time had a welcoming yet classy atmosphere. The sort of place that wasn't dead expensive but still served good food. The girl noticed a few people flashing Golden a couple of odd glances, clearly finding his cloak a little unusual, but the stares soon stopped and everyone returned to snuffling up their food once more. When the NPC waiter came over to the two of them, the young warrior was delighted to find that they offered steak. "So, you come here often?" Thorry asked Golden curiously after their orders had been taken, keen to make conversation with her host.

    Cool c:

  8. Thorrissia eagerly followed her friend from the cafe, keen to see his place of residence. "Wow this place is pretty nice." The girl stated in awe as they made their way into the cosy building. The furnishings were simple, but neat and attractive. But best of all was it was clean and it was warm. Hell yeah, I'm going to love staying here. She thought happily to herself as they walked up the steps to her new inn room. "This. Is. Amazing." Thorry's jaw dropped at the sight of a soft feather mattress. A REAL mattress to sleep on. Ok, so maybe not a real one but that wasn't the point. The brunette instantly dashed over to the wonderful bed and dropped like a stone upon the covers, really quite happy to drown in bedsheets. "How can I ever thank you for this?" Thorry asked him with genuine gratitude, finding herself a little surprised that the boy beneath the hood was actually rather good looking. She'd sort of assumed he'd covered his face up because it wasn't too good to look at.

  9. "Really?" Thorry asked in surprise, not really sure what to say. She felt rather touched by his kind gesture. That was the nicest thing anyone had offered to do for her. "That would be wonderful! As long as I wouldn't be intruding. I'd hate to inconvenience you." The brunette added hurriedly, not wanting to take advantage of Golden's generosity by hanging around in his place and being a nuisance. She could be a bit of a slob if left unchecked. "Thank you so much. That's probably the nicest thing anyone's ever offered me before." Thorry stated quietly, sipping the last remnants of her shake from its container as Golden consumed his steaming hot beverage. He really was a genuinely nice person.

Thorrissia wasted no time in finding another monster to go and skewer. A wild boar was wondering about aimlessly and nomming upon some grass near a small outcropping of trees and Thorry was not wasting the opportunity to try and gain at least something out of this grinding trip. The girl snuck quietly up behind the beast before stabbing it rudely in in the rump. The boar squealed like a little piglet before attempting to turn the strength of it's tuck like appendages upon it's attacker. Thorrissia easily leaped out of the way of the boar and slashed the creature with her weapon once again, making the animal snort in anger and attempt to charge her down. Once again, side stepping out of the way as easy as pie and the young warrior managed to land another strike upon it's exposed backside. The time the pig became infuriated that the girl didn't have time to dodge it's attack and she stumbled backwards as the monster's sharp tusks skewered her in the stomach.

  11. "Really it's nothing to do with you I promise. You seem like a really nice guy, and you're probably the closest thing I have to a friend in this place." The girl sighed, giving in and telling him the truth. "You see, the truth is, I'm saving up every single col I earn in order to buy myself that weapon I told you about, so at the moment I can't really afford to stay anywhere at all. Not until I get what I need at least." The brunette admitted, sipping awkwardly  at the dregs of her milkshake, slurping the contents rather unceremoniously loud out of the bottom of the cup. She felt kind of embarrassed telling people that she was actually completely broke. Back at home, in the real world, her family had been pretty well off, so Thorrissia wasn't all that used to going hungry, or sleeping in uncomfortable places. It was probably a positive learning experience.

Right, I'm really unfamiliar with how loot dropping works right now. I'm assuming because Thorry and Kotori both attack the monster, the both get even col split between then right? So they both get 40 col?

"Rightyo!" She called out to Kotori after the dark haired girl had managed to sheer a good bit of HP off of the furious bear. The brunette twirled her sword one more time for luck before going in for the kill. The monster flashed it's incoming attacker an almost forlorn look as if it knew its fate was sealed. "Sorry about this goldy locks, but sometimes you just gotta take one for the team." The freckled teen told the bear as she raised her sword high above her head and brought it smack down between the creatures eyes. The bear let out one final dying roar before it exploded into a bright blue shower of polygon shards and disintegrated into the atmosphere. "Woah. Level up." Thorrissia panted, taking a couple of steps back from where the big beast was standing.

    + 80 col.

    + bear skin

"Huh. Not too bad." The girl mused with satisfaction, turning her attention towards the newest player. "This a friend of yours Kotori?" Thorrissia asked suspiciously, not entirely sure if the new guy was friendly.

  13. Thorrissia was actually more comfortable sitting in corners, although be it for a different reason. The fact that they both liked out of the way places to sit was nice; one thing in common. "Actually I prefer to sit in corners. It gives you the advantage on seeing who else is in the room. I like to observe people." She shrugged as they sat down in quiet little corner, not realising quite how creepy that sounded until it was out of her mouth. "Not like, in a weird way!" Thorry added quickly, blushing a little bit at her own stupidity. "I just- prefer to know what's coming is all." She muttered with embarrassment, quickly snatching a menu off of the table and began pawing over it with a sudden interest. When Golden mentioned how grinding was going, Thorry was quite happy to have the subject changed. "Really?" She smiled as some of the pink faded from her freckled cheeks, ordering a strawberry milkshake from a passing NPC. "That's cool. Maybe I'll see you there one day. I've been saving up some money to buy a really good weapon off Oikawa. I hear he makes the very best so y'know. I thought I'd try and get hold of one. That way I'll actually be a threat in combat." The girl laughed, thinking over some of the embarrassing moments they'd both been flattened by various angry creatures. As her milkshake arrived, Thorry eagerly began to sip on the thick creamy liquid, revelling in the taste. "Wow, this is amazing!" She exclaimed gleefully. "Thanks for this by the way.

When Golden inquired about her sleeping conditions, the faint flush upon her cheeks began to go a little red once more. "Well, I um, y'know. Love outdoor camping." When Thorry smiled at him, there wasn't quite the same enthusiasm as before, making it clear she was trying to cover up the truth about her current living situation.

  14. Whatever was up, Golden clearly didn't really feel all that up to sharing so Thorrissia wasn't going to push him for answers. Whatever had happened, it wasn't her business so there was no point poking around in it. Instead of making a show of noticing his brush off statements, the girl simply shrugged and agreed, "Yeah it's pretty cold. Going inside would probably be a good idea. A cafe sounds fantastic." The girl answered with a friendly tone at Golden;s suggestion, feeling a little hurt that sitting next to her freaked him out so much. You smell like a hobo what do you expect? An unpleasant voice in the back of her head snapped fiendishly at her weakness but Thorry just ignored it, pretending with alarming ease like the action hadn't phased her. "So, how's your grinding been going of late?" She asked him curiously as they walked towards the cafe door, trying to start a conversation. Socialising wasn't really her strongest suit, but hey, she tried her best.

  15. Sure thing c:

"Feeling cold?" Thorrissia frowned, noticing something considerably more withdrawn about the boy. She wondered with some concern if something bad had happened to him since their last meeting. "Not really." The young gamer answered slowly, not really sure what to make of Golden's quiet behaviour.  "The cold doesn't really bother me. I quite like it really. Makes things easier to think." She explained with a slight shrug, still gazing at him critically, trying to analyse what the problem might be. There was certainly something different about him that was for sure. More sullen. Thorrissia swung her legs down from her bench and shifted casually from her resting place to sit next to the rather quiet looking Golden. "You ok? You don't look so hot." The girl inquired cautiously, not wanting to probe to far into his business, but still interested in what had kick started this sudden change in behaviour.

Ha. Not too hot. Gosh Thorry u and ur puns.

"It's alright. I'm just not so good with surprises." Thorry shrugged with a slight laugh to Dom, now finding the sudden appearance of his helmet rather amusing as they began to stroll through the flower beds. As the large suit of armour began to fawn curiously through the flower stalks, the brunette couldn't help but break out in a sudden burst of laughter, her cheeks flushing with colour. "You do know you look like Sauron hunting for pansy's with that on don't you?" She snickered, having to wipe a few tears of hilarity from her eyes upon her arm. Once she'd recovered from just how funny the scene had been, Thorry began to follow Dom's advice and start brushing through the bright coloured flowers for a collectable item. "Hey check it out! I got something!" The girl exclaimed with glee, holding up a couple of violet petaled plants with a big triumphant grin splashed across her features. After a couple of moments of thought, a small frown wound its way onto her lips. "Huh. Only problem now is what I can do with them. Is there any place I can sell stuff like this in mass quantities or anything?" She asked Dom curiously, examining her catches.

  17. Thorrissia's stormy eyes flicked south from the sky upon hearing her name being spoken softly into the misty wintery air. Standing in front of her, looking ever so slightly concerned, was a very familiar brown haired boy. The brunette girl slid stiffly into a sitting position as Goldenarroz claimed a bench next to her own in order to talk to him. A slightly puzzled smile made it's way onto her face as she curiously cocked her head slightly  to the side. "How is it that you and I keep bumping into each other in the most random situations?" The girl asked with a small grin, as her breath billowed away in a column of steam into the distant atmosphere. She was leaning casually against the bench rail, propping her feet unceremoniously upon the rail on the other side of her seating position. "It's good to see you Golden." Thorry stated with a large yawn, stretching her arms out in a wide windmill like circle to work some feeling back into her muscles again.

  18. Thorrissia, Goldenarroz

The city of Urbus was, in Thorrissia's opinion, not the most attractive of cities. The mountain air was chilly, the buildings had a harsh medieval appearance and there was not a huge amount of people milling around. Thorrissia loved everything about it though. The cold stilled her mind, giving her time to think and the lack of busy bustling was sort of tranquil and enjoyable. The young gamer was currently sprawled casually across one of the town benches, staring vacantly up into the sky. She'd finished up with grinding for today and found that there really was nothing much for her to do except lounge around or scavenge for stray food, so the girl had taken to resting in public places like some sort of dangerous but loveable homeless person.

The sudden attack of the creature had thrown the girl quite off balance, so her next hit did not land true, but thankfully neither did the wolf's. As the beast jumped at her, Thorry dived into a forwards roll and came up kneeling next to the beast. The position gave her a chance to strike! The brunette raked the rip of her blade across the monster's exposed flank, but the beast rounded furiously on her upon feeling the impact and smacked it's paw aggressively into her side, throwing the girl aggressively across the battle field. Thorrissia landed badly, sliding through the dry dirt on her side. The wolf began to charge furiously towards her, but just as the beast was about to rip her throat out, Thorry slashed her swords upwards and the monster exploded into oblivion. No loot. "Oh come on, you're not serious are you?" She growled furiously at her lack of success. This was starting to get annoying now.

The whirlwind of random attacks had clearly confused the monster, disorientating it even. If she could just repeat the routine then perhaps it would lead to an easy victory. Feeling a little more confident about her strategy now, Thorrissia began to wave her sword in random arcs around the Dire wolf's head. The creature tried to follow the blue of movements, clearly extremely confused, and in its confusion she struck. This time her aim was true and her hit flawless and Thorrissia dealt the maximum amount of damage possible to the creature with her sword. The wolf screamed, a pitiful sound, and tried miserably to sink it's teeth into its opponent, but Thorry was ready and thrust her blade savagely into the monster's face. The wolf yelped and backed away. The brunette attempted to slice it's nose upon the retreat, but the beast moved too quickly and she stumbled. The monster held no qualms about taking advantage of her mistake and quickly leaped in too swat at her legs, leaving large orange rents across the side of her calf.

The now slightly worn down combatant was a little disorientated and her attempts to stab her opponent were considerably less successful. The monster, sensing her weakness, took advantage of her lack of coordination and slashed it's claws across Thorrissia's face. "Agh crap!" She cried out, slicing blindly at the Dire Wolf once again and missing as before. The flurry of uncoordinated attacks seemed to confuse the beast though, so when it next attempted to snap at her Thorry easily sidestepped out of the way and smashed her weapon down upon it's head. The monster yelped in pain and began to randomly slash at the air, it's claws missing her face by inches. The girl jumped backwards, getting a better grip of her weapon, and tried to formulate a decent battle plan to take this monster down.

The girl attempted another slice at the wolf with her blade, but her sword missed by inches as the creature dashed around it, trying to attack its opponent. Thorrissia leaped backwards away from the creatures jaws, trying to stab the monster in the face. Sadly the wolf was more than ready for her. The creature jumped clean over her strike and pushed the brunette backwards into the dirt, stealing another one of her health points. Thorry feebly attempted to swat at the beast with her blade but the wolf was too busy trying to slice her up with its claws. The young warrior managed to clamber panting to her feet, covered in angry orange gashes.

After a while of casual wondering, Thorrissia came across another rather unfriendly dire wolf. The beast was sniffing around lazily in the grass for goodness knows what. It's not like the furry terrors needed to eat or anything. Sighing with boredom, the girl flicked a stray strand of hair out of her face and drew her weapon, marching purposefully towards the beast. The wolf eyed her suspiciously as she approached, abandoning whatever interesting piece of dirt it had found in the grass and began to charge aggressively in her direction, slavering jaws ready and open for the kill. The young warrior growled back at the beast and readied her sword, but she misjudged the wolf's trajectory and her strike ended up being way off. Had she not managed to roll quickly out of the way, the monster might have managed to strike her. Unfortunately, as Thorrissia attempted to slice a hit at the nasty creature, it dived under her sword and knocked her roughly to the ground, dealing some damage to the girl's HP. "Dammit! Don't do that!" She hissed at the wolf, swiping blindly at it with her sword. The wolf jumped nimbly out of the way and tried to slash at her ankles with it's claws, but the girl dodged out of the way.

  24. 'Dom' seemed a pleasant enough character even if he seemed to prattle on a little bit. He may be thirteen levels above her, but Thorry was confident that with a decent weapon she might actually turn out to be a decent combatant, and she was slowly saving up the cash for that day. When the dark haired man humorously suggested she could tell him to shut up at any time, Thorrissia just laughed in response. "It's fine really. Talk as much as you like. It's not often I have company." Thorry's pale green eyes dulled somewhat at the thought. It was true. She didn't really have too much company often. Golden was sort of a friend she supposed, although they'd never really talked properly, just stabbed things for fun together. It was nice to actually hang out with somebody for once.

As the two players ambled casually across the line, Thorry got quite the shock as a large metal helmet materialised in a violent flash of blue light. She stumbled backwards in surprise, almost tripping over a stray stone. "Couldn't give me some warning next time that's going to happen could you?" The brunette stated dryly, her attention soon turning irritably to her hair. The wind was mercilessly whipping her choppy chestnut locks into her face, making it difficult to see. Not good weather for combat in her case. She might need to invest in a helmet at some point. When Dom turned his head to her to explain the plan, the girl couldn't help but find it a little amusing how happy an intimidating set of armour could be. "Sounds like a plan to me. Let's go get some stuff."

Thorrissia was pretty glad that Kotori decided to join them. She would have felt pretty guilty if the girl had decided to leave. At least this way they would all have equal loot opportunities. It didn't take the three of them too long too find a few rogue bears snuffling around in the dirt. Hopefully the big brutes would be able to give them something worth while to destroy. Golden went straight for one of them with his rapier but the monster was considerably more powerful than any of them had expected, easily bringing her fellow grinder down. Thorrissia was about to jump in and help him, but Kotori's call of switch called her attention. She too had been smacked into the dirt by a bear's hooked paw. The huge shaggy brown monster had it's back to her, which gave her a rather attention grabbing idea so that Kotori could take it from behind without being noticed.  "Switch!" The brunette did not hesitate before dashing sword outstretched towards their prey. At last minute before impact, Thorrissia deliberately slid into the dirt to avoid it's hooked feet and used the momentum of her sprint to push her through the mud underneath the bear, raking her blade across it's tender underbelly in a perfect hit before skidding to a halt on the front side of the beast. The bear roared furiously, clearly extremely angry with the impressive stunt she'd just pulled. "Kotori, switch!" She called, panting, unaware of the new player who'd just showed up.
