It was slow going, and she was pretty sure she would end up finding more monsters along the way, and growled at the thought, she was tired, hungry, hot, and miserable from today's trip and just wanted to be done with it.  there was sand currently stuck in more places then she cared to think about, her hair had become a disheveled frizzy mess, so even game hair behaved like this, seriously. Her golden eyes were watering from the blazing sun and the scarf around her face didn't offer much protection for them midday heat, "Blazing hell hole" she muttered wearily, and yet, she always seemed to end up back here, she even preferred the freezing fourth floor over this! But she might have been a bit biased on that, she liked snow, and so, she marched on.

  1. (Good, so , i couldn't handle more than one attack from this beast, i need to make myself armour with a little more MIT, so i'm going to ask you to take agro, OTL, I probably wont miss for the most part, unless i roll less than a 3, so I should end up dealing with my sword arts in two turns (without crit) 72 DMG doing just over half the damage, then i become useless haha,)

Shirosu Smiled, she saw that the player she was parting with was just above her in level and she was excited to kill it, whatever it was, even if it was in this smoldering hell hole. She nodded at Kalesh, she had attempted to make armour for him one, but, she hadn't had much luck and had sadly disappointed him. "Hello Helios!" she said with her signature crooked grin, she offered her hand,"I'm Shirosu, nice to me ya" Checking to make sure all of her equipment was in place she nodded when it was, slightly embarrassed at her lackluster stats, but that was a work in progress. She looked over a Helios, the Back haired gut seemed friendly enough, and she was good with friendly, she just so happened to like people in general, they were fascinating. "Let's do this!" she exclaimed happily

She was just starting to think by the time she turned around and walked back it would be night by the time she got back to town when in a large spray of sand that blocked her vision, something knocked her painfully off her feet and she took a beating to her HP. Skidding a few feet back she leapt to her feet and growled scanning for what had hit her, but all she saw were sand dunes and dead bushes. Wiping her head back and forth she only had a seconds notice when the open jaw of the worm jumped out of the sand, its body aiming at her midriff. Dropping to the ground quickly preformed Infinite on the exposed worm above her. With the same ear piercing squeal as its predecessor it too died a squirming mess. With a grimace she stared at the creature, she knew she had told herself to pay more attention, but these dune swimmers where going to be the death of her if she didn't watch, and they moved so well with the sand that they were hard to spot. She scooped the bag of col it left behind and with a groan turned to go back towards the settlement.

Shirosu spotted another one of those creatures that kept diving into the sand, but this one didn't immediately dive into the sands upon her approach. It was a grotesque thing, beady black eyes, nasty serrated mouth, and a worm like body that was longer then she was tall, but that probably wasn't saying much, the worm was not an easy looker. when it finally noticed her it let out a hideous hiss and in the blink of an eyes buried itself in the sands. Panicked Shirosu took a step back, not knowing where the monster had went. Then she looked down and saw a bulge in the sand at her feet. Very quickly she leap back and dodged the maw of the worm as it sugred up from the dunes at her face, spraying sand in every direction. Knowing this was one of her few chances to kill the beast she lunged forward with shadow stitch and quickly completed the move. With a ear piercing squeal it flopped over on its side and squirmed for a few seconds before dieing into a pixelated storm. "Gross" she muttered picking up the mat it left and staring at the spot it had died in with disgust for a brief moment before turning to find something else to kill, she just hoped its scream hadn't called another.

sometimes in the distance she would spot something akin to a monster in shape or size, but when she went to approach it always seemed to dive into the sand and out of her sites. The heat was now blisteringly hot, and ten times worse than before, and she was starting to feel like she was melting, and she didn't like it very much. Unfortunately as boredom took over she payed less and less attention to the rolling dunes and non existent scenery and more to scrolling through her inventory, checking all her gear stats, criticising each one and how she could improve it, but she was beginning to realize she needed the levels to improve her skills, without them she was kinda useless. SHe had hoped to maybe find another material, but alas, no such luck.

  2. Shirosu was loitering around the town of beginnings when she saw the obvious newbie, basic weapon, starter clothes, yup, brand, spanking, new.Gin pip curiously from her shoulder and she stared after the new guy, she wondered if she should follow. Deciding it couldn't hurt she hesitantly trailed the new guy, curious to know just what he thought he was doing, She hoped for his sake he wasn't going to charge into the field of beginnings to try and beat on a boar, that probably wouldn't work out too well for him. She followed a little bit back sometimes half raising her hand and almost raising her voice to draw his attention, but just couldn't bring herself too.

She picked up the humming again, as it was a distraction from the silence that was the empty desert, she was lonely, but she needed the mats and she needed to level up as quick as she could, she knew the front lines needed help desperately, and wanted to get there to a part of that. With a heavy bang Shirosu kicked her foot into something solid, with a squeak she almost fell o her face, but caught herself this time "What the" she muttered. Crouching down she shifted through the sand and came up with a beautiful, palm sized gem "Oh cool" she said dusting it off,"This would look good imbedded in something. After admiring it for a few more moments she pocketed the gem and turned to see if there where any more, after not finding any she shrugged and continued her walk through this hateful place.

Picking herself up she grumbled, now there was even more sand in her clothing, great, just great. True to her word she kept her mind clear and her eyes peeled so that she wouldn't get jumped again, it had turned out ok that time, but the next? She didn't want to think about that. As she walked, keeping her eyes peeled for foe or hopefully some materials she kicked a pebble across the dunes, sending small sprays of sand with each kick.  With a sigh she tried to find something at least a little fun in the hot hellhole. She spotted a funny looking cactus, which brought a small smile to her face, but for the most part it was desolate.

She wasn't really paying attention as she trudged up the hill, still fuming over her incompetence, when the beast leapt, seeming out of nowhere at her face. Instinctively she reacted, along with some help from her evasion and leaned back, the angry animal passing only hair in front of her face. With a short shout she spun around and with five deft flicks of her wrist executed <<Infinite>>  perfectly and landed a huge blow on the furious animal, killing it with a single blow. "Woahhh" she said sitting back on the sand hard, that had been very unexpected, maybe she needed to pay a little more attention when walking now, she shouldn't be so spaced out that she didn't notice thins approaching in a desolate wasteland, yikes. looking infont of her she saw to large pelts and a hand full of col, "well" she muttered, "At least he dropped stuff."

With a sigh, she set back off into the blistering heat, hoping to maybe stumble upon another monster or perhaps some materials. While she walked she thought that maybe she should of brought, Gin along for some company. While she walked she hummed some tunes from what had been current music when the game had snatched her away from the rest of the world, it reminded her of her life back home, something sad but familiar. "Ahhh!" Out of nowhere her there was no ground beneath her feet and she slid down a slope rather unceremoniously.  Spitting sand out of her mouth when she skidded to a stop she spewed hateful words for a few minutes before shaking herself off as best she could and miserably marched back up the hill.

When she got close enough Shirosu saw what the creature was, a large, hooded snake who on her approach lifted its head up and hissed at her. Drawing her dagger She grinned at leap at the beast, activating her sword art, shadow stitch. She was quick with her slash and her kicks smacked the beast twice in the face before it could react. She had been hoping for a one hit kill, but alas, she was just short of it.  In retaliation the angered snake struck faster then she thought snakes could and with a decisive snap of its jaw around her wrist it did her a fair amount of damage, not enough to worry her, but it still wasn't comfortable. "Hah!" she laughed when the snake succumbed to thorn damage and yelled "Boo ya!" that was one dead snake, poor unlucky animal. Looking at what it had dropped she smiled, two mats, this must of been her birthday!

  4. Scarf wrapped around her face Shirosu swore violently, her words lost in to the wind as it swept by, blowing sand into her eyes. Closing them momentarily She questioned her sanity at coming here in order to mob grind, it was the appropriate floor for her level in terms of mob damage and hp, but the thought only occurred to her now, why hadn't she just hunted out some slightly stronger mobs on the level below her. Still grumbling she stomped over dunes and past long dead trees, all that was left was a white, barkless skeleton, a reminder to how harsh life was in the desert. Spotting something that looked like a mob in the distance steeling herself, she decided to head towards it, she need something to beat up to take her mind off of the stupid sand.

she was still bouncy from the thought of getting into something cool until Takao told her about what had been happening on the front lines. With a faltered step she almost tripped but catching herself stared at Takao sadly, Opal had once been a friend of hers, to hear such a betrayal was saddening and hurtful. "A lot sure has gone on" She said quietly,"That's just incomprehensible" she was aware that a few of the names mentioned there had been some of their best fighters in the front lines, that must of been a blow. Shirosu thought that she had better become stronger quicker, they needed help, and she was still too weak to provided that help that was needed. She closed her eyes mournfully for a moment as she struggled against the sand that her boots sand into, then opening them again silently swore to herself that she would become stronger.

After walking in silence for a time and getting unpleasantly blasted by sand on occasion she decided to speak again. "Tell me about the first dungeon you fount, they seem interesting and i'm curious as to if their hard or not?" she wanted to take the conversation away from gloomier subjects and bring it back to something maybe a little more pleasant." and if you tell me about that, maybe i'll tell you about the time i almost succeeded in getting a crotch shot in on Mack, or a drinking contest at the Iron Blades bar....." she trailed off, remembering who was a major part of that story and fell into a sad, brooding thought.

  6. Shirosu saw the two people exit town, she had heard the call for a quest and had been intrested in it but by the time she had found the person shouting they had already moved on. After going on a brief, but wild goose chase, she located the guy who had been talking and decided to sprint to catch up. "Hey!" she shouted her eyes watering from the sand that gust in her face. After coming to a stop next to the black haired man she caught her breath and said,"You were looking for people to do a quest with? if so, i'm in!" she could be pushy sometimes.

  7. Jogging through the seventh floor Shirosu scanned the streets looking for the hard to miss, gigantically tall redheaded man who would be leading today's quest.  When Shirosu spotted Mack, and the guy standing next to him she waved and with a giant grin picked up the pace until she was standing next to the two men. "Hellooo!" she said with her common, slightly crooked grin,"What in the world are we up against , because, to be honest, this floor and its monsters seem to spell Death to anyone of my level, and i'm not sure i want to die today, so Mack, what's the plan?" all of this was said in a voice that was way too chipper for the tone of the sentence. Turning towards the white haired man whom she'd never met before she offered a hand and said,"HI, I'm Shirosu"  she was fascinated by his hair, as her own reflected the same color, cool.

  8. ID: 63172                                                                                                                                                                                                                             CD: 12

Shirosu loved the little draconic creatures name and gave the little animal another smile.  When Takao went on to explain more about dungeons and what they were about she almost let out an excited squeal, she LOVED things like that, "I'm fine with that! " she exclaimed excitedly her golden eyes shining, now she really, really hoped they found one. When Taoko pointed to the exit to town and the way they would travel on their quest she shouldered her cloak on to be a tad sturdier, tucked Gin into her scarf where he wouldn't get blasted by the sand and with a grim smile at the trough of having to trek through the desert set off. The first second her foot touched the shifting sands and started to sink she groaned, with her lack of grace, this was going to ankle twisting goodness.

the winds and sand battered her soon upon exiting the town, but they weren't yet as bad as she had been expecting. As she walked she tried to make small chat, intrested about the ongoings of someone who had a huge level jump on her. "how... How are things going on the frontlines?" She was generally curious, she had been on something of a leave for a time and was out of the loop, and thus this quest was her getting her butt back into gear. In her scarf she could hear a little chirp from time to time as Gin expressed his feelings about being jostled around, as a compromise he stuck his head out of it, leaving his body hidden in the dusty clue folds.  After pausing for a moment she hesitated,"By the way if you don't feel like answering that, just let me know," SHe knew she could be a little too....curious at times, and she didn't always think before she blabed.

  9. She wasn't offended when he didn't remember her and smiled good naturedly, she wasn't a very memorable person anyways. She saw how he awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck and was quick to say, "Its not problem really, i'm not to easy to offend " she hated feeling like she was making someone feel awkward, the reason being the mirrored emotion in herself. She accepted Takao's introduction with a nod and said with an outstretched hand, as was common of her greetings,"I'm not even sure you ever got my name! I'm Shirosu" Gin pip on her shoulder loudly as if offended she had forgotten him "ok, ok, and this little hitchhiker is Gin"

Untangling her snow colored hair she pulled it over her pale blue scarf and tried in vain to smooth the knots that had formed it it while listening to Takao talk about a dungeon broker, that piqued her interest, "Dungeons you say?" she sat back on her heels, "I'm gonna be honest with you, never been in one, it sounds fascinating" also dangerous, but she got a thrill out of that, call it a flaw, but tricky situations were a favourite of hers. She grinned widely when he mention "The Traveler" quest "We'll it just so happens to be i just accept that quest, i'm still questioning my sanity over the decision, but hey, if i could tag along with you, at least I wouldn't be lonely" She hoped he would let her tag along, it would be fun to have someone walk through the sandy pits of hell out there. Shirosu looked at Takao's little red familiar and smiled at it, what a cute lizard, she thought familiars were the ultimate relief from loneliness in this world, and everyone was special.

  10. Deciding she was as ready as she was ever going to be, Shirosu double checked all of her supplies, and with a huge sigh turned to head out on the quest. Not expecting to see anyone she let a startled squeak just about jumping out of her skin when she saw the guy standing behind her with a raised hand. Temporarily she was confused, did she know him? He seemed familiar, it took her a few minutes of staring blankly when it hit her, it was Takao! Shirosu had personally never talked to him, but he had done her a great favour way back when Mack thought it would be funny do carry her around like she was a trophy or something. With a giant grin she said,"No, you're not bothering me at all, quite the shame you can't recognize me , you helped me out quite a while back" her golden eyes gleamed in amusement" If I recall correctly you challenged Mack to a duel because you saw me being lugged around like a sack of potatoes by that giant" Ahh memories, she thought fondly, with a quizzical tilt of her head she asked "so what's brings you here to this smouldering wasteland?" she herself was questioning why SHE was here

On her shoulder Gin had stood up to inspect the other shoulder jockeying familiar, his three tails twitched curiously, he found the draconic creature fascinating, the only other familiars he had ever play with had been furry, nothing like the scales. The little fox chirped out in hello before settling back onto its partners shoulders.

  11. Regret, that was her first thought about ever thinking it was a good idea to take a quest in the dusty, unforgiving, unbearably hot place. As Shirosu talked with the NPC that was giving her the details of the quest, she felt a pit forming in her stomach over the thought about going out into the shifting sands. She knew  the rewards were one hundred percent worth the effort, but that didn't make the task anymore welcoming. Silently she cursed that more quests couldn't just have stupid easy tasks like, kill thirty boars in blank amount of time, that would be mindless fun, totally up her alley.

Gently billowing around her ankles were the edges of the dull rust coloured cloak she had quickly created with her tailoring skill, it wasn't pretty,  and she wasn't even sure it would help protect her from the hot winds that gusted hotly in the surrounding area, but it made her feel better to wear it. On the other hand tangled up in her silver tuff of hair, resting on her shoulders like a cashmere scarf was Gin, basking in all of the glory that was the desert heat, Shirosu sometimes thought that the little three tailed fox was part cat because of his love of the sun.  While she absentmindedly patted the warm furry familiar on the head Shirosu studied the route and sighed, this was going to be a lonely trip, she was so absorbed in her plans that she didn't even notice the somewhat familiar face of Takao as he entered the settlement.

  12. You love them now as they are, but we all love the S and G that come from messing with are characters right? Welp, here's a fun one for everyone, take you little cuties and genderbend them! its pretty simple either A- find a picture that look like them of the opposite sex, or B- draw it yourself!

Shirosu quickly located the rock that was as tall as her and grimaced, this would be hard, and only with her fists eh? thank goodness for athletics. crouching down she let the little White ball of fur that had been sleeping under her hood out and pet him on the head saying,"You go play for a little bit ok Gin? I have a rock to go beat up" The three tailed fox kit squeaked in agreement and scampered off to roll in the grass. Turning back to the rock Shirosu approached it and winding back her arm she drove it into the rock with all her might. With a yelp her hand rebounded fiercely with a solid smacking sound, at least she left a small mark.

  13. Shirosu wandered through the second floor idly, not really paying attention to where she was walking at the moment, that's when she heard an NPC voice up,"You look strong young lady, care for a challenge" Shirosu turned to face the NPC, and older, weathered looking guy who was looking at her curiously,  "Sureee" Shirosu replied, a little hesitant, seeing as last time she had fought Gemini, the NPC nodded and explained about a large boulder that she had to break with only her fists. With a shrug she accepted the quest, she had nothing better too do and it would give her an excuse to punch something, even if it was just a rock.

Shirosu couldn't smile through her scarf but she did her best to offer Jomei a smile with her eyes and gave a thumbs up, no need for them to worry about her, she may not  deal well with sand but she wasn't a porcelain doll. She had to lift her feet much higher then she normally would to clear the sand, he being short in all, and she situated herself close behind Mack, once again using him as a sand shield. When another harsh blast blew by she had to close her eyes momentarily to avoid being blinded by the hot grains, thankfully she was still unscathed, for now.
