  1. Immediately after Hirru had located the dungeon, it seemed like the mobs descended without warrant. Creeping in from every direction the party had been surrounded even while trying to be careful. "Well doesn't that just outright suck..." Lawfer commented as he watched the Blades commander leap forward into the fray dispatching the mobs without remorse and with the simplest of ease. "Guess that means I'm up now..." he commented, while turning to the mobs and stepping forward. As he pulled back his spear, he received a branch to the back of the interrupting his action. "Ah [censored]!"

  2. Watching as his two superior officer both set up their strikes and then missed caused the blonde to smirk. He had just recovered his energy and now it would be time for him to make up for lost time. BEnding his knees, he sprange forward and activated <Charge> stopping behind the two monsters. Lawfer wrnched his body towards them. And let loose his spear, with two massive slashes, <Hellish Twice> cut the two Snakes in twain. As they exploded into purple pixelated vapors, Lawfer chuckled lightly. "Ok Guys! I think we best move on, we have spent more than enough time in this dungeon."

  3. "Closed... Why did he tell me to come here if he is closed?" LAwfer asked himself as he looked at the sign on the door. "Ah whatever... I'm sure he misses me." Lawfer stated as he reached for the door handle and jiggled it a bit, before it turned over. Walking into the shop, he walked up to the small counter that was adorned with miscellaneous potions. Making eye contact with Michael, he smiled. "Long time no see... Hows my little Padawan doing?" He asked jokingly with a large smirk on his face. "I have quite a few things I need made before the coming boss raid and I'm hoping you can help me out.... I need a T2 Perfect DMG Potion, a T2 perfect Mit Potion, and a Safeguard potion. Any chance you can get those to me before the coming boss raid? Take these and if you fill the order, can you keep making me T2 perfect DMG pots? If you become my personal alchemist, I'll keep feeding you mats."

  4. "It definitely sounds like an interesting plan. The neat thing about this game is that as long as you have the right skills, mods and equipment, you can make any combination work for you." He commented, catching a faint wiff of the smoke. Having not realized it before, they were drawing closer and closer to the flame beast, that had been decimating the western area of the floor. "Well judging by the smell, I imagine we are getting close to our destination. It would be best to make sure our gear is in order." Lawfer commented with a slight smirk on his face. Like he had previously stated, it was the third time he faced off against this colossal cat, and both times we just just a smidgen shy of finishing the monster off in one hit. "When we get there, would you like me to take the first crack at it? Or would you like to take first swing at him?" The blue eyed spearman asked as he pulled his arm across his chest, though his body didnt need to limber up, he did so out of habit.

  5. "Not intentionally this time." The blonde jested as he let out a quick chuckle. "Just trying to get you to lighten up a bit. I know a lot has happened so far, but this is still a game... Sure a game doesn't typically end in such finalities, but there are some things to enjoy about this place.... Like the lovely elves on the third floor, and the voluptuous amazons on the 6th floor, and the cute NPC waitress at the 7th Heaven Pub in Urbus. Or the cute waitress at the pub on the 11th floor, and also...." Lawfer stopped for a moment to let it sink in. "Lets just face it... We are kinda spoiled with all the cute NPC girls that flock to us just wanting our.... col." Finishing his statement, he waited for a response after the indicated directions. There wasn't much more time before reaching the destination, and as such Lawfer pulled down his half visor and followed the teen.

  6. The blonde smiled as he looked at the set of gauntlets that Kalesh had presented. "Yeah you can never look a gift horse in the mouth.... Or at least I think thats what the saying is." Lawfer commented with a slight chuckle following. "I imagine that going bleed is great for certain niche fights. I have another spear that grants bleed, but with most fights its all about the straight damage, and its a bit of a shame that the niche fights seem like they never happen." He stated while contemplating his own facts. "As for your armor, are you going straight mitigation? Or are you going with more of an evasion route?" asked the spearman as he looked over to the red head. Judging by his current set of equipment, he wagered that he used light armor and the perks of such was an easier time evading the enemy. Lawfer had opted for the route of using heavy armor, and had regretted the decision, but much like selecting his spear... It was too late to change it.

  7. Nodding at the acceptance of the background tune, Lawfer then responded. "You have any requests? I chose the normally useless profession of a performer so it shouldn't be terribly off key." A chuckle erupted after his own comment, then the dragoon had come to his senses. Picking up where he left off, Lawfer began humming 'Fly Me to the Moon' once more. The song had a personal connection to the blonde, as it was a song his mother would sing to him before her passing some years back. As the 'music' continued in his head, the humming continued until he noticed a set of ruins coming up in the distance. "Yo Tak! I'm sure you see it too... But you think the dungeon you were talking about has something to do with those ruins?"

  8. Taking a deep breath in, Lawfer slowly released it in hopes of focusing. He had spent a considerable amount of time in this floor prior to this quest and was well aware of the tricks that the trents played on lesser experienced players. "Hirru, I trust your lead my friend." He stated, as he looked over his shoulder and placed his hand on the grip of his Highwind. Trents aside, what they were looking for was a precarious dungeon, one that laid hidden somewhere in the area of this floor. "So Mr. JAde hunter, you see anything resembling a dungeon around here or what?" He asked with a sort of playful tone. He was serious about finding the elusive dungeon, but he couldn't let on too much more than that.

  9. Taking the time to listen to the man carefully, he could only nod while taking the information in, he too understood the drawbacks of using a lesser known weapon. He himself fell victim to that category. "I understand that one. My two handed spear is a low damage, high endurance type as well. I get the luxury of both Stun and AOE attacks though." He commented as he reached back and placed his hand on grip of his spear. "I had my spear customized a little bit though, instead of only one spearhead, I had Oikawa graft a second serrated edge on the pommel end. Its a little trickier to use, because I lost the pommel. But I think it looks pretty awesome this way." He finished as a bit of a smirk, alliterated his face. Taking a deep breath in, he pushed past some of the dangling vines that semi-barred the path. "So are you planning on joining the coming raid? Or are you planning on sitting this one out?" Lawfer asked as he pushed aside a few more vines.

  10. "No worries big guy!" he responded quickly. Seconds later the 'ping' of his interface sounded. Rasing his right hand, he scrolled through the menu and accepted the party invite. Before closing the window, he scrolled through to his inventory to his equipment. 'I wont need to heal during battle so I'll go with my Lancer set.' he thought to himself as he selected his equipment. As he finished, a swirl of scarlet surrounded him, and encased his body in his Scarlet Dragoon Plate Mail. Then his Highwind materialized over his right shoulder. "Byakko isn't too tough... I've fought him twice now so we shouldn't have any issues." he retorted as he followed the redhead to the outskirts of town. Examining the gear of his companion, the realization that he was a Wild Dance user finally dawned on him. "This is the first time I'm going to be fighting along side someone who uses Wild Dance. How are you liking them?" he asked, as he caught up to the man and began walking beside him as opposed to taking the rear guard.

  11. After receiving the hailing from his new acquaintance, the blonde spearman took a deep breath then a final swig of ale from his pint before standing. "Well I'm off Raise. Time to go grab some SP." Lawfer jested as he turned to the tavern door. Throwing some col on the counter, the dragoon made his way to the doorway. Raising his right hand he signaled a slight wave to the NPC bartender before making his way to Teleport plaza in the center of Urbus on floor 7. AS he reached the crystalline pillar he cleared his through. "Floor Six, Amazon." After speaking the words a pillar of light surrounded the blonde and as it dissipated he found himself materialized in the jungle town. Turning his head back and forth, he caught eye of the red head, whom's hair was as long as his. "Hey Kalesh!" He called in a slightly louder voice than normal to ensure that the man would hear him. "So we've got Byakko to take care of today? It should be easy enough for the two of us. You ready to head out? Or do oyu need to pick up a few things from the lovely ladies of this town?"

  12. "Sounds good." The Dragoon stated as he continued on following the dungeon clearing King Takao. Taking a deep breath in, the spearman looked up at the tree canopy above. The dense branches coupled with the high amount of leaves seemed to still blot out the sun with a few exceptions in minimal amounts. Placing his hand on his trusted Highwind, the dragoon changed his line of sight to directly in front of him. Before long, Lawfer had become anxious at the fact there was no background noises, not even the obscure sounds of wildlife. Without even realizing it, he began to hum lightly to the tune of 'Fly me to the Moon' before stopping himself. "My bad... It's just a little to quiet to my liking. Normally, there is at least some kind of background noise..."

  13. Words fallen on deaf ears, at least the woman tried to remain calm. All the heckling in the world that she does and yet she turns a deaf ear to everything else. 'Quite Comical.' danced in the spearmans head as a slight chuckle escaped his lips. As Takao gave his information the room all but erupted with different questions and recommendations for the battle to come. First was Zandra, then Xion, then Kalesh and finally Opal. Her words rang true in some regards, but at the same time the falisy behind it was apparent. The dragoon had wanted to completely shut the woman down but he had to logically craft his argument. Taking a few moments to gather his thoughts he cleared his voice.

"What Opal stated is true, she does have one of the better sword arts for the battle.... However, giving a 12 hit AOE to someone who could and has massacred someone in a boss raid before sounds a bit too rash. I know that this will be the first raid that I'm going to be taking part of but i would prefer it to not be my last raid as well. I'm sure a few other feel the same way." Turning to Opal, Lawfer smirked. "But..." He paused to add weight to his argument. "If we entrust that to her I think its only right that Opal supplies the others that will be using the Talismans with tier 2 damage crystals and safeguard potions. I mean its only natural, because if others fall because she lacked the foresight to supply the raid with the means to ensure a speedy victory more blood would be on her hands. But then again... we all know that she doesn't mind blood being on her hands."

  14. "Before I head back to the abyss of Antmen killing.... I wonder if Cal and Tak want to help explore the anthill." Lawfer said to himself as he raised his right hand and scrolled through his messenger before selecting both Takao and Calrex. 'Hey Guys! I'm up here on the 11th floor right outside of Taft dealing with some antmen. I wanted to know if you guys wanted to head up and try to find a dungeon. Anyways... I'll see you two in a bit and after we can head to the pub and grab a few brews.' Hitting send, the spearman stopped walking towards the massive anthill. "Now we wait... I hope they dont take too long." he muttered as he bent his knees and sat down in luscious green grass.

  15. Looking down at the ground around him one more the spearman, tried to find some semblance of a material that might be worthwhile for either trading or crafting. But all of the rocks and stones were of no use to the man. Popping up from his seated position, he once again looked at his energy bar... "Ninety five percent.... I guess I could start heading back over to the anthill and by the time I get there all my energy should be recovered." He commented as he began walking towards the gigantic mound that spewed antmen. "Ok Im good to go..."

  16. As the two headed serpent burst into blue pixels, the dragoon simply chuckled. "Easy enough." He stated with a quick smirk, only to have his attention drawn back to Takao and his question. "You know me! Always ready to find a dungeon.... Well always ready to have you find a dungeon, my aptitude for that isn't quite there yet." He finished as another chuckle followed his comments. Spinning his spear in his right hand, he slung the strap over his shoulder and followed the brunette. "After a few more of these dungeon dives I may just be able to rival you in damage with that sword of yours." He joked as he raised his right hand to check their location. "So where are we headed?"

  17. Taking his time, the blonde spearman strolled the darkened streets of Taft. There was plenty of new information from the previous meeting regarding the new up coming boss that Lawfer and his the Merry band of front-liners from the Knights of Bloodoath would soon be taking a part of. Making his way to the entry of the minor guildhall they had resurrected for just such occasions, the scarlet dragoon placed his hand on the door and pushed it open. As his hair was pulled forward by the current of wind that ripped through the hall, Lawfer stepped in, closed the door then brushed his long hair back over his shoulder. Looking around the planning table, he smirked and took his seat. "Hello everyone! Who is excited for this one? I know I'm not."

  18. OOC: @Mack i need you to finish them. I dont have the energy to waste if we want to take down the boss quickly.

A slight chuckle escaped the lips of Lawfer, as Mack had finished his little wager. He knew that it would be best not to take the wager so he said nothing in response. As the prediction that Mack stated came to fruition. he just looked at the ginger haired man, then looked back up at his energy bar which was two thirds empty. "Well Mack, I could waste my last bit of energy and plow through those mobs, but I know you have a deeper energy pool. You mind finishing them off?" the Dragoon asked as he placed the strap of his spear over his shoulder. "Dont worry about it Hirru. You're our scout so I dont expect you to be able to topple these mammoths." He commented as he watched the two elephants stomp around a bit.

  19. Placing his hand firmly on the door of the tavern, and with a light pull the blonde spearman entered the already almost full tavern. "Guess word of the boss meeting is more wide spread than I thought it would be." he commented to himself as he scanned the room for a free seat. Making eye contact with his fellow Knights. He nodded then turned his attention back to the room. gesturing a slight wave to Takao and Calrex he then made a mental note of the remaining people in attendance. He had seen most at the previous boss raid with a few new additions. Walking up to the bar tender, "I'll take a pilsner, in the largest tankard possible." As the bar tender filled his order, the dragoon reached out and took it in his hand before turning back to the room, "Now for a seat..." He muttered... as his eyes locked on Opal. 'Guess I should have a little fun.' were the only thoughts that crossed his mind as he walked up to the table she had taken up residence, and pulled out a chair.

"Well hello, Love. How goes your plans for killing me? Ever since your ambush I had expected at least something a little better by now." He said in a sarcastic tone as he winked. "But then again, you might need to mobilize your army before long otherwise you may find yourself left behind." He finished as he took a large pull from his drink. "Or should I come try to find you before then?" Pausing for a second, he took another sip of his pilsner.

  20. "Got it." Lawfer commented in response to his partners claims to be weary of the upcoming field boss. As the two pushed forward through the barren landscape. The blonde noticed the shifting sand in front of them. "Right on que." escaped his lips in a monotone fashion, one he had adopted to joke with Takao, unaware if he would pick up on it or not. Lowering his stance, the two-ended Highwind materialized in the Dragoons hand. In an eruption of sand the giant wurm made his grand introduction. Having activated <Charge>in that moment, Lawfer closed distance quickly and unleashed <Dimension Stampede>. Five quick stabs caught the Wurm in the guy, follwed by a leaping slam that smashed down on the exposed head.

As the wurm lashed back with its head that just bounced off the sand, the dragoon circled right causing it to severely miss. "Well I think its ready to be put to sleep Tak!"

  21. Looking over at Calrex, the blonde raised his hand and waved. "Seems like that Cal." He responded with  slight smirk. All he could think about was the lovely amount of SP that he would receive. Reaching up, he pulled down his half visor. "Since we are on the 6th floor, I'll go ahead and head down first to start clearing out some of the mobs." He commented before turning to the entrance of the dungeon. As he placed his first step inside, the wall torches began to light up one by one with an eerie purple flame.

As the lights reached the bowels of the cave, the distinct roars reverberated back. "Guess they know I'm here." He commented as he watched the dark bodies of the pack of mobs come barreling through the passageway. Pulling his Highwind off his shoulder, he activated <Charge> and cut the mobs off at the pass. <Hellish Twice> engaged and with two quick slashes, the shadow panthers exploded into blueish pixels.

  22. "Oh beautiful.... You made my job of coming to find you that much easier..." The scarlet dragoon stated as a smirk danced across his face before he was sent flying by the woman's blade. Slightly glancing back, the spearman remained confident that his companions would be able to handle the dregs of the woman, but he would need to remained focused on the task at hand. He knew all to well that the succubus of a woman had frightening combat prowess, and that one mistake would cost him his life. Shifting his weight onto his back foot, he gripped his Highwind tightly in his right hand.

As the flash of white hair grew closer with blade drawn in lunge position, 'I need to stop the charge.' He thought to himself as the memory of a move that Raise showed him falshed through his mind. Bending his knees he leapt then initiated <Charge>. Flying through the air, a scarlet streak trailed behind him almost like an after image. Shifting his hips he began the fast steep descent, as he pointed the bident tip of his Highwind downwards .  As the dragoon descended quickly from the accelerated jump, his left hand grasped the handle of the spear, while his right hand remained free. The voluptuous woman, backpedaled immediately as the Dragoon crashed into the earth plunging his spear into the volcanic rock. 'I still have a little left...' his mind screamed as he released the spear completely and left the momentum of charge carry him forward. As he passed the woman, his right hand reached out and gripped firmly the tendrils of her hair. Snapping her upperbody backwards, while launching her feet up, "Have a nice trip Opal.." Lawfer stated as he began turning his upper body, and threw the woman.

Watching as the woman smacked into the ground a few meters ahead of Lawfer, he turned back to his spear that had been planted in the ground. "You can keep trying to kill me Opal... But it wont work... Raise's training hasnt gone to waste..." He commented as he placed both hands on it he wrenched it from its resting place. As he felt the cold hard steel of the Masamune X at his back. '[censored].... I made a miscalculation...' He thought to himself as the slash of the blade launched him forward once again. Tucking his head, as he preformed a front roll, then wrenched his body back towards the murderous woman. Standing quickly, he released two high swings. The first was parried, then the second dodged.

As the villainous Opal swayed back to dodge the high attacks, Lawfer dropped low, as his Highwind glowed silver, and unleashed Trip Expand. A whirlwind of gold, silver and Scarlet spun viciously as the spear tripped up the load bearing legs of the woman, shooting them out from under her causing her to slam onto her back. Trying to capitalize on the situation, Lawfer used the momentum of the sword art to follow up with a hefty vertical downward slam of his spear aimed at the woman's exposed body.
