  1. "Guess that means I go down the rabbit hole next." Lawfer stated as he looked over to the vixen of a Vice commander. As he descended the steps of the dungeon, he reached back and placed his hand on his Highwind. The blonde knew that he would need to steer clear of any actions so that he could finish replenishing his energy supply, but he had to take precautions. The dragoon watched as Macradon swung his demonic blade only to miss a bit high. Staying back at the end of the staircase, he turned to the vice commander who was at his rear. "I need to sit out just a little bit longer. Mind helping the big guy out?"

  2. "Is that right?" Lawfer asked rhetorically, as he thought back to the vast first floor and how he recalled seeing horses but never went through the trouble of figuring out what they were for. As the two continued to push on through the mountain trail, he listened as Takao recounted his close calls. "Well even if you can keep soloing the big guys, let me know in the future if you need back up. After this quest i'll be one of the best healers in the game, so it couldn't hurt." the blond stated as he smirked. Looking up into the vast, cloud covered sky, a slight breeze passed by. "This is some of the better weather I have experienced on this floor."

  3. Letting out a light chuckle, the speaman nodded. "That is exactly why i was up in a tree. Gotta get into the mind of what we are hunting." He jested as he raised his right hand and equipped his armor. As the spiral of scarlet light surrounded him, his dragoon armor encased his body as the light dispersed. "But seriously, I just enjoy hanging out in trees. You get a much better breeze up there plus most mobs cant get to you. Its a great place to rest, when I left for awhile and lived out in the wilds it was one of the only places I could get any sleep." As he finished, he realized the last words of Tak were a bit domineering. "Nice. Whats the new floor like?" Pausing for a moment, he followed up with another question. "I missed out on the last raid. What happened?" He asked as he began walking towards the indicated area for the field boss that he received from the info broker.

  4. Nodding in agreement, the blonde spearman smiled. "Sounds good to me Vice Commander Big Guy!" He jested as his face managed to turn serious for a moment. "In regards to Opal. I have a good chance of finding her, should we try to go about it. We spent a lot of time together so I believe that if we want to mobilize a strike against her I would like to do the scouting." he stated as he stood from his seat and picked up his helm that had been resting comfortably on the planning table. "Aside from that, I believe i will take my leave." Turning to Commander Heathcliff, he bowed his head. "Always a pleasure to see you out and about Commander." He finished as he turned away from the table. "In the mean time, I will be training up on the 11th floor. If you need me for anything please send me a message."

  5. A slight smirk danced across the spearmans face as he watched the interaction between Baldur and the cub. Then his attention was brought back to reality with the samurai's question. "When I took the quest, Takao, Calrex and I just walked there through the swamp, then we were able to find a sub dungeon. But if we can get there way easier with a small little boat I opt out for that." He jested as he looked over to Ariel. "Ariel you mentioned having to find some materials. Would you rather us trudge through the muck so that you are able to gather them?" He asked as he smiled at the blonde femme-fatal before pushing up the half-visor, removing the shades of red from Lawfer's line of sight. "Regardless of what we choose to do, I believe we should get a move on."

  6. "You got it beautiful, I mean Vice Commander. I'll make sure I can keep a keen eye on both you and Magda." He commented as he winked in his predisposed fashion. Reaching up to a low hanging branch he pulled himself atop it to try to get a better view of the area, all while staying close with the group. Opal had spoken the truth, the party was about to venture through a thick marsh that could hamper travel time. Taking his eyes away from the party he looked to the east. Clearing his throat he smirked. "Hey Vice Commander. I think we should head east. Its a bit better of a route and if I recall correctly we should be able to find some ruins nearby. I think we should start there if we are planning on using your super special skill." winkign once more, he leapt to a nearby tree branch, landing with full footing. "Now I know why Tarzan does this..."

  7. "Its good to meet you Verat." He commented as he let out a quick chuckle. He had enjoyed making nicknames for people, whether it was proper or not was really out of the question, but it wouldn't stop him. Turning back to the iron clad warrior, Lawfer smiled. "Yeah its true, I hope you have the survival extra ability. But, if you don't that will be ok, we can get there quickly if we take this path." He paused momentarily to raise his hand and point in the direction of the route they would take. "We have two options for the fight. You two can go first and try to brave the brunt of the attack of the hound, or you can let me kill it in 1 hit. Just let me know what you want to do." He finished his statement as he began walking towards the safe zone exit, then onto the less traveled path to the west, that would cut out significant travel time.

  8. "I'm good Cal." He stated with a bit of hesitation as he watched the Ultramarine Knight stagger a bit then receive a hefty blow. As Tak followed up in suit and slammed his sword into the undead monster multiple times. "I'm in." the dragoon stated as he bent his knees and lowered his level. Activating <Charge> he sprung forwards and unleashed <Dimension Stampede> five stabs pierced the body of the undead as Lawfer jumped and slammed the final strike down upon its skull, sending it to the ground. As it collapsed, the bone body of the monster reconstructed itself. "This bitch just wont die..."

  9. The spearman had nodded to Takao's answer. "Well then this should be a walk in the park." He responded back, as they began ascending the mountain path. The path wasn't particularly difficult given how strong his virtual body had become, but it still wasted precious time that could be spent on other ventures. "You would think that there would be a faster way to travel by now. Horses... or maybe an NPC rickshaw. That would be entertaining to say the least." He finished as he let out a light chuckle. Passing the time was strenuous if there weren't any good talking points, and Lawfer was more reactionary in that regard, raising his right hand he opened his interface to check the map. "Tak, was there ever a time in Aincrad that you had a difficult time with these field bosses?"

  10. Lawfer watched as the swordsman quickly and simply dispatched the remaining life of the beast then sheathed his sword. The dragoon continued in kind by sliding his spears strap over his shoulder. "Well I guess that's whats to be expected from a field boss on the 6th floor." He commented with a slight smirk on his face as he began following Takao towards the possible dungeon. Thinking back to the swordsman's comments prior to the attack, "Newfoundland... That's in Canada right?" He asked as he pushed aside some of the shrubbery that barred his path. "If you plan on heading up there, try to head up to Quebec. The women there are beautiful, lots of fun if you're gonna be heading there with your buddies."

  11. OOC: Sorry about the late reply... Work has been killing me.

Raising his right hand, the dragoon opened his interface and selected the party option. Sending the requests to his two companions he smiled, "Ok that makes us set for the party. Now all we need to do is make the trip and kill whatever we need to do." He finished as he switched over from his party screen to his inventory. Selecting his Lancer set of equipment, his body was engulfed in a set of crimson armor and his Highwind materialized over his shoulder. "I'm ready when you two are. I'll provide back up but I do plan on getting a little hunting done by myself if time will allow."

  12. Watching as the two big guns, dashed in and manhandled the Undead Commandant, the dragoon began to circle to the right trying to find the ideal moment to rush in. Readying his Highwind, he closed the distance. Beginning his premotion he lunged forward with the tip of his spear only to miss high and slightly to the right. "Ah [censored]!" echoed from his lips as he back pedaled trying to gain some distance between the boss and himself. "Sorry about that guys." He jested as he looked over his shoulder to his companions. It would be his luck to miss at a crucial moment, all that he could do now is wait for his opportunity to strike once more.

  13. Looking down from atop his perch the spearman smiled, "Hey Tak! Yeah, I'll be right down." He commented as he placed both his hands on the branch. Pushing off of it he descended to the ground, where he landed on both feet in a semi-squatting position. Standing up, he began stretching his legs. "Its a good thing we don't get cramps here." He joked as he began walking towards the safe zone gate. "Well I guess we get to kill a giant monkey. Sounds super fun! How have you been? Anything new in Tak town?" he asked with a slight smirk on his face. The path seemed pretty straight forward even among the trees.

  14. "I hate the taste of this floor...." the golden haired spearman said aloud as he scanned the central plaza of Vulcan city. He had come to this floor previously to clear a few field bosses, but every-time he wished that he didn't need to be there. Between the heat, the environment and the mobs, there was nothing appealing to this floor except he had received some information that he needed to verify. Typically, Vulcan City was hardly visited but the Dragoon spotted a pair of players that seemed somewhat out of place. "Well this is new... Most players tend to steer clear of this floor because of the heat." The blonde spearman stated as he walked over to the two. One was a shorter blonde teen, and the other was encumbered by a thick set of armor. Judging by the fact that he hadn't seen the two before, the dragoon deduced that they were here for leveling, and with the growing number of player killers as of late, he couldn't turn a blind eye. "Hey Guys. I'm Lawfer, if you two are heading out into the wilds, mind if I tag along? I need to handle some business out there and there is always a sense of security with numbers." he asked.

  15. Lawfer had spent the last few years traveling and had seen sights similar to this jungle but the differences were quite obvious. "I've spent time in both Latin America and Southeast Asia so I'm sort of accustomed to them, but I've never been in anything this dense and overgrown... Leave it to Kayaba to go over the top on these sorts of things." The spearman stated with a slight smirk. As the two continued to venture further and further into the jungle, the smell of smoke and ash became apparent enough for the dragoon to reach over his shoulder and grasp his spear. "Judging by the smell we are getting closer." He commented as he turned his head and looked over to the brunette. "I'll take first crack at it, and leave clean up to you." He jested as he watched the huge jungle cat leap towards them.

Pulling his Highwind back to begin the premotion for his sword art, Lawfer activated <charge> and cut the distance between the two to nil. <Southern Imperial Cross> engaged and peppered the beast four times and a final thrust knocked the massive feline over stunning it. "Ok Tak! Its ready for you."

  16. The blonde watched as the two dispatched the final enemies that lingered in the path towards the dungeon's boss. Even if he was full health he knew that it would be unwise for his to take point on this particular fight given the fact that he would be putting himself in much more unneeded danger. "Yeah I'm ready. I figure we should have Cal go first given the fact that he has the nifty shield." He stated as he looked over to the aquamarine knight. You dont mind do you Cal?" He asked, as he reached over his shoulder and removed his Highwind from its sling and drew it with its tip facing down. "When it comes time for me to strike i can stun it. So you don't need to worry about wasting your energy on that Tak." Lawfer stated as he took a deep breath then exhaled.

  17. As the howl sounded, the scarlet Dragoon ripped his Highwind from his shoulder and watched as the massive flame feline crashed its large paw into the vice commander. Pulling back his spear, he began the premotion for his assualt. Lowering his stance, he activated <Charge> then the laksidazical spearman found himself within striking range of the beast. Lunging his Highwind into the beast, Lawfer engaged <Concentration> as <Southern Imperial Cross> burst forward in a flurry of scarlet, the tip of the spear pieced the Byakko four times followed by a final thrust that stunned the beast. Circling back he looked over to Hirru. "Finish this thing off while we have the chance Hirru!" He commented as he looked over to the fearless Commander. "You all good big guy?" He asked as he watched the minimal damage that was received disappear from Mack's health bar.

  18. "Where the [Censored] do you think you are going?" Echoed as Lawfer looked over his shoulder to find a lumbering bandit that was significantly larger and noisier than the others. Ripping his Highwind off his shoulder, Lawfer turned and pivoted on his lead foot as the premotion for his sword art caused his spear to begin to turn silver. <Charge> Activated and the spearman found himself directly in front of the boss that was labeled Warden. <Dimension Stampede> Activated and with five quick stabs and a jumping downward slam from his spear, the warden burst into countless purple and blue pixels. The quest complete indicator popped up and Lawfer shook his head, "Well that was a easy enough... Next time ill be sure to come more prepared.

  19. Taking a quick moment to stop, Lawfer raised his right hand. "I know what will help." Scrolling through his inventory, he removed his armor and replaced it with his black lucky pants. "Cant believe I didn't think of this before." He commented with a smirk that illuminated his face. Beginning to once again sprint through the hallway he came upon a door. Raising his right leg, he kicked the door open to find a wide open area, where the sun shined bright. "Well this is a relief." He stated smugly as he began to walk towards the wide open gateway.

  20. "Ok guys... I know you want to sit around and play touch butt all day but i think its time we end this..." He stated openly to the guards blatant disapproval. The premotion for his technique began once again as Lawfer smirked. With two quick slashes, Hellish Twice rended the bandits in thirds causing them to explode into blue pixels. "Finally.... Now since that is over I can finally get back to getting out of here." He finished as he knelt down and collected the loot that was dropped by the fiends. Standing back up once more, the dragoon began to pick up his pace by sprinting, down the narrow enclosed hallway.

  21. Rolling his eyes slightly, Lawfer once again pushed forward with spear in tow. He needed to end this farce without anymore waste in energy. He was running at about 2/3 in it and there was still no exit in sight. Slashing wildly once more, his sword art failed to activate and he found himself whiffing. Back stepping then circling out, he managed to evade the coming assault once more. Neither side was going to be able to do much in the terms of damage this way.

  22. As he pushed onward a crowd of Guards managed to surround him. Raising his Highwind, Lawfer smiled. "You know you guys are really persistent. I know im good looking but to have the attention of four ugly guys like you is pretty unwanted." He stated with a smirk. "Guess i need to deal with you before I find the exit." The four bandits converged on the dragoon each trying to hit him sequentially. With finesse the spearman easily dodged and smirked before swinging wildly missing the foes.... "Well thats not cool."

  23. As he traversed the right passage way, he noticed a dead end into a doorway. "That might have been too easy." He commented as he reached out to the handle and turned it clockwise. As the door opened he noticed that it was yet another empty room with only a window. The window was too small to mount his escape, so the only reasonable thing to do was to return to where he came. Turning around he began sprinting once more and passed the intersection again. "This has to be the way... At least i hope so..."

  24. Lawfer looked down the hallway and proceeded to sprint, he figured that the best way to get through this place could be to find the furthest wall and then circle back around the perimeter until he found the exit. It was the most logical thing he could think of. Seeing as how he knew he was at least at ground level it would be the most appropriate strategy. As he reached the far wall, it dead end at a two way intersection. "Right or left?" he questioned himself as he began sprinting down the right hallway.
