  2. Emerath would not be deterred this time. He knew he was capable of making the items that were ordered, and so he set out in his lab to try once again. He started mixing and brewing, referring to his notes occasionally to try to produce the proper results. He managed to make a decent set of things today, but he had not quite managed to make it to the level that was desired. He was close though, and he knew he was close. Tomorrow, he was sure he'd be able to make it. *** Daily Crafts ***
  3. Emerath waved to Kalesh as he left the shop, and had thanked him again for his patronage. With a whistle and a bit of a spring in his step he made his way back into his lab to begin crafting once again. Emerath was honestly completely unsure how to make the types of potions that Kalesh wanted. Really, he had only made health potions and thought he was actually pretty decent at that. And so, he set to work, taking notes and trying to figure out how to achieve the desired results. Unfortunately, while not a bad day for crafting, he didn't get what he wanted. But he'd try again later after studyi
  4. Emerath was delighted to see a customer come into his shop. It had been quite a bit of time since he had crafted, mostly due to guild and other matters that required his attention as of late. He walked out of his lab after hearing the familiar ding of the door's bell and saw a red haired man filling out some orders. As the man filled out the order forms, Emerath made his way to the tea set on the bar, and poured the man a cup. It was always polite to at least offer, he thought, as he placed the cup down next to where the man was filling out the order forms, along with a small pitcher of cream
  5. Emerath looked at Seul with a gleam in his eye. "In fact, yes, I do have some in stock. I have a healing potion of every type, ranging from healing 15 HP up to 25 HP, with varying prices of course." He moved over to a small sign that had the prices posted and then over to each of the potions, taking the uncommon and rare one and placing them on the counter next to the display which carried his perfect potion. "Prices range from 250 Col to 1000 Col for these items, and you can also pay me in materials if you see fit to do so. Let me know what you'd like and we can see about striking a deal," he

He had no idea what to expect, but he had been finding a range of success using the greenish blue herb that he had found out in the snow. Perhaps it had been worth it to brave the cold and complain for a few hours after all. But, as he started his work for the day, all he managed was to replicate an
  7. Emerath heard the telltale sound of a customer via the bell on his door, although this customer made their presence a little more known than the usual ones. He heard a sneeze so hard that his shelves themselves just about rattled, and Emerath had to catch a bottle before it fell off the table and smashed into the ground. He quickly put it back, this time farther away from the edge, and made his way out of his lab to greet the person. "Ah, welcome!" he said, walking up to the young man and giving him a smile and holding out his hand to shake, "My name is Emerath, what can I do for you?"

As he began, he started with notes here and there, a basic craft, then progressively as his crafting day went on his items got better and better. He took notes the entire time, and it seemed like the greenish blue reflective herb that he found was in fact a good alternative to the Hill Root he had been using previously. He just had to

He had made the Golden Heart, but he just wasn't sure how he was going to get more Hill Root. At best, the stuff seemed rare, and despite that he had figured out the trick to making it, that would mean he would need more materials to do so. He gave a bit of a sigh as he went into his lab to work on the materials that he did have. Who knows? Perhaps he'd get lucky and find another way to make the Golden Heart. This was an MMO after a

He was happy that he had hopefully helped another player survive with the use of his potions and that drove him to make even more. Emerath gathered up his notes. He could feel that he was close to figuring out the secret to the Golden Heart. He could feel it in his bones. He would make the golden sp
  13. ((OOC: It's fine. I just didn't want you getting in trouble with a mod is all, for thinking an item was the wrong thing. (: )) Emerath smiled at the tip, and said, "Well, I appreciate that. Tips are always welcome." Emerath pressed the "Accept Trade" button as Astopheric had done and watched as the items swapped places. He pulled mats out of his inventory and looked at each one in turn, "Good stuff. Hopefully I can make even more potions and make it worth your while to come visit me again. Thanks for stopping by today!" Emerath gave a bow of thanks to Astropheric for his business. Full Transac
  14. ((OOC: Please make note that it is a potion, not a crystal. That is a very important difference as it would take your character one turn of drinking the potion to use it and heal. Emerath is not of a proper rank to make crystals at this time.)) Emerath had been up on a ladder, placing the new potion on the shelf that he had just made when a customer entered the shop, seemingly incredibly eager to buy that same potion. "Woah now, Speedy, let me just get down from this ladder." Emerath made his way down and went over to the customer with the potion still in his hand. In a few button presses of h

  16. Taking Notes (3 Crafts): ID: 32709CD: 2 (Failure)ID: 32710CD: 1 (Critical Failure)ID: 32711CD: 10 (Uncommon Item)Emerath had decided that taking notes was the best idea he had in a long time. He sat in his lab and considered how certain things mixed together, referenced his notes for reactions, and thought best how he might try out his experiments today. The Hill Root was his best starting point, and he had learned to gather quite a bit of that where he could. He was enjoying the thought that with his notes, he would eventually be able to make Golden Hearts on demand, once he could figure out
  17. Getting Back on the Horse (2 Crafts): ID: 32603CD: 2 (Failure)Emerath figured it might be time to finally start crafting again, now that he had had an actual customer. He needed to craft, even if it was a failure, he needed to practice. He made his way to the lab, and realized that he still hadn't cleaned up the mess from the last time he sabotaged himself. He groaned as he pushed the stuff off the workbench, and this seemed just enough to push the durability of the items completely to zero as they exploded into a flurry of pixels. Emerath shook his head, and decided to stick to what he knew.
  18. Emerath was couldn't help but turn a light shade of pink at the thought of being someone's provider, especially this lovely woman's. Despite that Emerath was very awkward around women, and well, people in general, he couldn't help but feel that he could at least do this much. Emerath gave a smile and a nod as he placed the red cushion with the potion still on it back on the pedestal for now before accepting the papers and filing them into one of the other drawers of the box for review and posting in his lab later. He quickly scurried over to the shelf holding the good quality potions and pulle

  20. Emerath had, thankfully, not been sitting upside down in his chair for once when an actual customer made their way into the shop. It was a rather pretty blonde haired woman, and Emerath was a mixture of absolutely elated at his first customer, and absolutely nervous at his first customer. He listened to the woman's request, and gave a rather large smile at the thought of someone wishing to purchase his prized display, and repeat business! The thought was a great one and he couldn't help but grin. When the woman had finished speaking, he fumbled a bit as he looked over at the tea set he had wai

Yeah, had I thought this through, I might have waited until such a time as this was more easily doable. But, I'm impatient, so here I am. Praying that I don't roll five failures in a row to finish this rock's last remaining HP.

  22. Day Four (2 Crafts) Emerath was sitting upside down in his chair again. Completely unprofessional for a shopkeep he always told himself. What if someone walked into the store? Emerath didn't care. It had been very quiet so far, and he just figured it would be him and his potions, as usual. He was writing up some labels for potion ideas, and he was getting pretty good at clever names and interesting potion labels. He especially hoped this would draw in the crowd that was more interested in medicinal effects that didn't just provide stat bonuses. Maybe someday. After writing his latest potion la

Oh I plan to. Honestly I'm loving the idea of making MMO style items in a more freeform RP environment. It's a neat system.

  24. Third Day on the Job (2 Crafts) Running an empty shop was actually quite boring, in all honesty. He had taken some time off for himself to go buy a suit in a nice tailor's shop in a lower floor, though in all honesty he had forgotten the name and the name of the shopkeep entirely. He had gone in just for the suit, been as polite as necessary, and gotten out of there. He never was very good with people. But he was certain he could be if money was involved. He looked over at the golden sparkling potion that he had placed in a display box in the center of the shop. It glittered in the light of on
