  1. Grumbling to herself as 9lives continued on without even acknowledging her or her question; Lisbeth followed after them. Taking a deep breath in and then letting it out, she took out Darkfyre and turned it around her hands, adjusting herself once more to its weight. The beast that came out from its cave was nothing that she had seen before. Even within its own silliness, Lis didn't doubt that it could do damage.

Watching both of them spur into action, she felt stunned as the Crimson Lightning and Obsidian Curse began to work. They moved fast and dealt damage to the beast in quick attacks. As the Lieutenant landed his attack without any problem, she moved in for the switch her axe charging for her first attack.

The red aura formed around the glinting blade as jumped to land her strike on the beasts torso. The force of the blow made her moved back a couple of steps as she landed once more on the cold earth. Seeing take damage made her happy, but the thought of being protected by better armor was even more exciting.

"Hit!" She called out for 9lives to hear, before awaiting more orders and keeping her distance. Flexing her arms as she hold the axe, she loved the way it felt to strike, hit and actually do hard damage. The feeling was exhilarating.

  2. OH...MY....These ships!

Oh.. dear. X.x so this is the shipping thread.

*Pats* Prepare for trouble as team rocket says.

Haine x Elyth (But more in a sisterly way than anything else)!

Miaki x Nikki (Have I said this one before? Who care it just needs to be canon!)

Zero x Sinon (Because reasons) >.>

    Ryujin x Mayonaka (also)

  3. Finishing on equipping the items given to her by Saix. Her smile grew into a more fierce one at the words of the lieutenant. Bowing her head in a signal of respect, she never moved her eyes from 9lives face. Pure, unadulterated determination displayed in her gaze for him to see.

"Aye, Lieutenant." She said neutrally, before moving on towards the trek that awaited for them. During that time, she went on autopilot as she tried to settled her mind and heart. The monster they were targeting would be the perfect chance to proof that she could take on the front lines. That she could be an asset, if only in a small part. With her mind occupied with thoughts and feelings, Lisbeth was surprised to find out that after a long while the three of them were finally at their destination.

Never been that far away from the settlement. She stared in complete surprised at the sight before them. Even if the wind was not as powerful as before, she suddenly stopped being feeling cold and began to mover her neck as well as shoulders. She didn't need the sensation of stretching in this game, but it was a habit that hadn't died yet. As she moved her gaze through the arena of the battle about to commence, she thought of any possible danger that could happen to them and that got her own adrenaline running.

"Mm...There is enough space to be covered in battle. Hopefully, we will just be facing the beast and no other small monsters, Captain." She mused out loud, feeling strange at using such a title, but as a starting member she didn't feel remotely comfortable for calling any one of them by their usernames. Lisbeth thought she'd have to win that right, before doing so.

Glancing towards the other party in their group, who had just been as silent as she was during the trek. She studied his blank expression and wondered what exactly was going through his mind then. Taking out Darkfyre without moving her gaze from him, her gripped tighten around the hilt, her fingers getting used to the feeling of it.

"Which side are you taking for the attack, Lieutenant?" That was perhaps a too forward question for him, but curiosity had her pondering it.

  4. Looking up at Saix, she tried to mustered a friendly smile and nodded vigorously at his words. She had to believe him, because if not she wouldn't know what to do. Dropping her hand and curling it into a tight fist she couldn't help but admire his confidence. That made her wondered where her own had run off too. Moving her eyes in a appreciative manner down his crimson cloak body and his light armor, Lisbeth definitely wanted to look that good when her own armor was completed.

Of course, her armor wouldn't be that light, seeing as luck sometimes was never on her side. Letting out a huff before dragging her eyes to meet his silver colored ones, she blushed at having so publicly ogle his merchandise. Listening in on the plan that he laid before her and the silent 9lives, Lisbeth began to formulate her own battle strategy concerning how she would attack.

Her face suddenly changed to one of seriousness as she turned to 9lives. About to ask him which side he would take for the fighting, she heard Saix mentioned gear and her eyes widened in surprised. Looking at both of the items he was offering and their stats, she quickly accepted them. Hell, now she felt even more in debt to make a great impression for them.

"Wow..." She mustered, unable to find words on how to express how thankful she was. Then, the silent ninja spoke and his taunt, stoke her inner saucy nature. Looking at the other player, she smirked and cocked her hip to the side, trying to ignore the shivering cold. He was intimidating, but she couldn't stay quiet at that.

"No, I do not need a tutorial on how to wield an axe, but thank you if your offering." She simply stated with an innocent smile. Turning her gaze back to Saix, she quickly equip the items and waited for him to show them the way.

  5. Watching his lips moved into a grin, Lisbeth could almost feel his horror at having salad. When her turqouise eyes met his red colored gazed, she felt a bit guilty at having to put him through that. She was very hungry, but she wanted to keep on with the joke. Letting out a scoff, she squinted her eyes at him before giggling.

"Such a bad liar," She teased him, waggling her index finger at him. The smirk extending her lips into a more predatory smile. Righting herself against her own chair once more, she was about to pay the NPC, when Eléssar decided to cut in. Sneaky man he was. Biting her tongue as to not roar out in laughter at what he had done, she picked up her Wine and moved it around, before bringing it to her lips.

"Well, I'm not a thing, though I accept your compliment." She commented, before placing her cup down and moving her hand to brush it against him.

"But I am enjoying myself," She whined playfully at him, before poking him in the bicep. Looking down thoughtfully as he confessed his happiness to her.

"I'm... Happy too, Elé," She whispered softly, before moving her eyes to meet his. Hers were turning darker blue as once more her leg brushed against his.

"I'm sorry," She mumbled furiously as she blushed even more.

  6. Right outside of the nearest settlement in floor two, vast woodlands and mountains were the perfect hunting ground for material gathering and gaining experience. The perfect place to go unseen and to be left alone. Of course like any of the other floors the lands were full of traps. As her turquoise eyes glared at the monster before her Lisbeth concentrated all of her anger in her next blow.

The wolf had one point left in its HP. After an arduous battle, she was determined to kill it this round with her axe. Sprinting forward, she twisted to bring the axe to travel from her side and towards the creatures neck. Gripping the hilt harder as she let all of her frustration out. Once the blow had connected with the monster and it disappeared into tiny fragments, she wiped some sweat from her brow.

Even if she was not tired physically, emotionally she felt like she had aged a couple of years.Closing her eyes as to enjoy the breeze and tried to calmed down, she cursed under her breath a specific male player that didn't leave her mind. Trying to enter a guild and to find a niche in it was harder than she thought it would be. Sadly, it didn't help her that one of the top tier members didn't approve of her.

Opening her eyes slowly, while practicing some calming breathing techniques, she stared at the falling leaves. The season changes were beautiful and for once, she was happy to enjoy them without sneezing all the time. Hearing footsteps approaching, she swung her axe to rest on her shoulder as she turned to look at the newcomer.

  7. "My, oh my, aren't you very honest? I'm happy to know that you are not trouble, if only many players were like that. I do dislike trouble of the bad kind, though when it's trouble of the good kind..." She drawl her comment, before giving him a mischievous wink and following with a friendly chuckled. Truth be told, she rarely if ever caused that kind of trouble anymore. As the time passed and she continued to be inside the game along with all the other players, Lisbeth could feel herself change.

Watching him from the corner of her eyes, she couldn't help but think that he was the kind of person who chose each word wisely. Feeling her knees tremble once more, Lisbeth grind her teeth together as she tried to maintain her resolve. An annoyed huff exiting her as she continued on. Listening to his comment about the floor she felt terribly bad for being a tiny jealous. Unlike him, there was nothing that reminded her of home.

"That's good that you have such a memory of something lovely, though your childhood must have been very cold. Mine was more of a warmer climate, though none of the other floors seem to even resemble that warmth. Either it's extremely hot or extremely cold, like this one. There are those who do have the perfect day temperature, but sometimes it just feels too perfect. Hm... Like unreal perfect." She replied, before shrugging her shoulders and quickly mumbling, "I hope that made sense."

As the Inn came into view, she tried to point at the building with one of her busied hands.

"Perfect! They do make the best cocoa and buttery biscuits that actually taste real. Nothing like that bland stuff you get in other places." Her tone quickly rising up in pitch as she got excited.

"I swear next time I'm bulking up on clothes. Never again am I appearing like this. So, have you been to all the floors?" She asked him in a cheerful tone.

  8. He definitely had some boldness to him. Taunting the bigger animal with his words, Lisbeth observed the blonde male player moved as swift as he could and delivered an attack. If she hadn't been fighting one of the minotaurs, she would have sit down to watched him be in action. As the monster swing for an attack and miss, she tried to follow it with one of her on.

Sadly, her hit didn't land. She felt very inexperience with this new weapon as she hurriedly work on how to block and hit at the same time with it. This one was heavy, much more than the basic sword she had used. Taking a few steps back as the beast roar, she turned to look at her fighting comrade once more.

"Nice techniques!" She called out happily, before focusing once more in her opponent. Her health was trying to slowly recover from the hit she had received not so long ago.

"These... I have never seen them before," She cried out as once more she swung to hit and the beast block her strike.

  9. "Me too. Very little places like these exist inside this game," She responded, a calmed sigh following her words as her eyes stared into the vast distance. She was curious about this guild; the system he was implementing seem unique and even the titles for what could only be his lieutenants were interesting. Yet, she couldn't bring herself to ask more, working those thoughts in her mind she began to nibble on her lower lip with a thoughtful expression.

Hearing the familiar sound of a re-equip she didn't bother to look at what he was doing. The atmosphere around them wasn't one of tension, adjusting her own dress as to cover herself she watched him dash off and noticed the intricate design in his back. Staying alone with the familiar felt a little strange and listening in on it was even more stranger. Nodding her head at the words it said to her, she couldn't help but wonder where it was going, but Lisbeth wasn't about to inquire that. She didn't want to give him the impression of being nosy.

Straightening more into comfortable sitting position, she let out a chuckle as he entered the water. A sense of melancholy forming as she remember her friends outside the game and the times they had all gone out to have at the beach.

"Be careful! Seems like the tide is growing stronger!" She called out to him in warning.

  10. She had expected more to his answer. Staying quiet for a brief time, while she stared back at him with a confused expression. Blinking once and twice she finally realized that he had nothing else to add. Letting out a nervous chuckled as to try and fight the awkward silence between them. She turned her turquoise colored gaze at the NPC just about as she was going to order for herself she heard his suggestion.

Giving him a side eye glanced, the upper left corner of her mouth moved up to form a tiny smirk. Her own mind working fast on doing some mischief. Nodding once she moved her gaze once more to the NPC and cleared her throat.

"Then I guess it will be two cups of your finest wine with that special leafy salad." She replied, seeing the NPC moved away from their table hurriedly. A salad wouldn't do it for him nor her, but just as he had teased her before she was going to do the same to him.

"Do I have something in my hair?" She asked him politely, flashing him an innocent smile. She couldn't help if her cheeks tinge as he continued to stare at her.

  11. "Yes...Well, I see it as trying to improve my strength. Only that sounds silly," She said with a friendly smile. Nodding her head in a silent thank you, she grappled with the many items and sighed lightly. She should have put them immediately in her inventory, but she was stubborn to do so and wanted to try them out once she was at the inn. Female vanity was a terrible complex.

"Thank you. You don't seem like trouble," She eyed him for a moment, before offering some of the items to him while still carrying half. Thankfully, most of them were just silly things she thought would be pretty. Shivering again and beginning to walk slowly through the ice path, her brow was furrowed in concentration.

"My name is Lisbeth, kind stranger. What about yourself? Care for a cup of cocoa as a reward? Not many tend to lend a hand when one is in need, though I don't blame them." She trailed off her comment, looking down at the items as she clutched them harder to her chest.

"This floor is very beautiful...Yet, I dislike the cold." She grumbled, turning to give him a joking smile and hoping he didn't think her weird for it.

  12. She wasn't sure if her face was hot because of the cold or embarrassment, thankfully the red cloak fellow was amiable. Nodding her head in approval of his pleasantry, she tried to stretch her smile more to make it seem more welcoming. Of course, she tried not to look nervous any more, although hearing the other player crack his knuckles unnerved her. The fact that she was hanging out with the top tier players of the guild had her in awe.

'Crimson Lightning. Obsidian Curse.' She thought silently to herself as she listened to the Guild Master's words. These were players very well known. The very spine of the Ebon Vanguard guild and highly respected for their fighting skills inside the game.

The fact that she was within the same place as them seem a one in a thousand chance. Lisbeth wanted to definitely impress them even more so. They did not fit her picture of the monstrous deadly players and she was grateful for that. Feeling excitement pumped up through her veins as her mind wander on all the great possibiliti-

"What?" She blurted out as she caught the monster's health. Saix had said it all so cheerfully she almost agreed to it all. As she felt the cold extend her whole body, she froze completely at the words of 9lives. Death... She didn't like that idea at all. She swore she could almost feel woozy, gulping back her fear she nodded vigorously while trying to look unimpressed. She didn't need to look into a mirror to know she was failing miserably at that.

With nowhere else to go and not wanting to seem a coward, she let out a shuddering breath and took a deeper one in. Her chest puffing up as she mustered bravado.

"I'm ready! This will be my first time taking on something like that, but there must be a first thing for everything. Oh, somehow the air seems fresher doesn't it?" She quickly stated, her left hand coming out and pressing against her head. Dark ringlets of hair rustling with the breeze, while her tone seemed even more light than before.

She kept repeating to herself silently to not faint nor fall as she squared her shoulders.

  13. Taking a step down the teleporting device she looked around trying to find the members of the Ebon Vanguard. The message she had specifically received from the Guild was to meet up in floor four with some of it's members. Although, she was interested in joining the famous Guild, the little information she had dig on the commanding members didn't help her much. Shivering as she proceeded to go down the last remaining steps she moved hurriedly toward the waiting figures.

Usually she would always be early, yet on this specific day that was another story. Slowly accessing the two male players, she straighten her back more and tried to act as cool as she could. Lisbeth wanted them to consider her as the perfect candidate for their guild, even if these two seemed a bit... Scary.

The one crouching on the fence post looked like a ninja. Even she couldn't read his body and she tried not to ogle him that much. He definitely looked dark, dangerous and mysterious. Her turquoise eyes then moved to the crimson coat fellow. He looked a bit more friendly than the other player. He was also handsome, though there was something about him that made her heart skipped- just like the other player. They both were menacing and she deep down wanted to be just as menacing as them.

Finally reaching them, she wiggled her fingers in a brief salute before hiding them in her own black coat from the cold.

"Sorry, I'm late." She quickly stated, her smile wavering as her eyes jump from the friendly red coat fellow to the ninja on the fence.

  14. She almost puffed up in anger, while it felt as if a rock had dropped in her stomach. She tried to reason with herself that if he didn't wanted a second date- she wouldn't feel anything. Sadly, that wasn't working. As she opened her mouth to tell him she didn't care- he quickly amended his answer.

For a moment she blinked a few times before it dawned on her what he was doing. Shaking her head and giving him her hardest look, she turned away and rolled her eyes. He was teasing her. That made her extremely annoyed and happy at the same time. Letting out a puff, she settled down in her chair and waited for the NPC to come take their orders.

"Me too," She replied with a smile. Her leg brushing against his as she moved a little on her seat.

"I'm sorry," She said quickly, before tapping the wooden surface. Finding it hard to say anything while with him. Trying not to make the silence seem awkward, she cleared her throat and met his eyes.

"Do you like sweet things?" She asked him with a smile.

  15. She rolled her eyes at his comment. His words made her out to be frail and soft, nothing like she really was. Though she usually did get into all sorts of trouble, but she wasn't about to admit such a thing. She didn't notice his blush as she turned to study him. He was indeed very handsome and although, she was still mad about him taking the kills. She had to admit to herself that it wasn't much. He had given her the COL and materials.

Feeling her stomach gurgle with hunger, she placed her left hand on it and tried not to feel embarrass. Hopefully, the loud noises of players moving around had masked it. Lisbeth sighed as her gaze travelled through the buildings, not noticing she got closer to his side and her bicep brushed against his arm. The small smirk on her lips still there at his words.

"Very well then. You shall pay for this one! But next time dinner is on me!" She quip, before noticing what she had said. Stupid, stupid, stupid, she didn't even know if by the end of the evening he'd want to do another one. Shaking her head and silently reprimanding herself, she looked up to see his excitement. Grabbing his arm, she pulled him forward and towards the inn quickly.

"Then come on! I'm hungry!" She called out, her hold very tight on him. When she finally reached the place and entered it, her eyes skimmed through the crowds and noticed a spot that was empty. Taking the chair with the back against the wall, she sat down and looked at him. She hated loud and crowdy rooms, but the food was well worth it. Pushing the chair closer to her with her foot, she waited for him to take a seat.

  16. Moving her hand in a gesture of no nonsense. Lisbeth continued to pet the familiar and make funny noises to it. Truth be told, this was the first time she got to be friendly with one. All the other beast tamers were very over protective of them. Thankfully, he wasn't and that made her happy. At least her hands would be busy, while trying not to succumb to the possibility of smothering him.

As she did that, she felt his hands on her and before she could react his kiss brush her skin. Suddenly, Lisbeth felt too hot for her own good. Her face changing to different colors of pink, she quickly straighten and glared at him. She would have said something, but when her mouth open nothing came out. Clearing her throat and trying again, an awkward odd sound followed.

She was tongue-tied. That was not good.

"It's a date..." She finally got to uttered, before rolling her eyes. Remembering that she hadn't eaten anything, she decided to go with his idea. She too was hungry and too lazy for any shopping or sight seeing.

"Good! I'll pay then!" She replied, before turning and beginning to move toward the inn she preferred the most. The kitchen in there had an establish cook of a higher rank and although he wasn't as known as many others- his food was delicious and felt real.

She didn't look back to see if he was coming or not. A smirk forming at the corner of her lips at the thought of him seeing her disappear.

  17. Tired of having to wait for him, she decided to go hunting for him instead. Her decisive steps had her boots making the normal clack-clack sound that they did on hard surfaces. Her dark frown had most of the players stepping out of her way. Stopping in the middle of the path her eyes traveling around familiar faces she found him. The glare directed at him and seeing how he still looked the same as before.

Approaching him quickly she didn't change the expression she wore. A few inches away from where he stood, she stopped and cocked her hip to the side. She was hoping for him to apologize or even tell her something, of course his compliment had not been what she had expected. Her cheeks aflame she suddenly felt a bit better at having worn the get up. Not that she would tell him so.

"Hello to you too," She said with a hint of taunt, cracking a smile and sighing, while placing both of her hands on her waist. Looking at him very closely, before nodding her head in greeting finally.

"Thank you... You look...Nice." She replied, not knowing what else to say to him about his wardrobe. Turning to Nova, she bend forward and caressed the Snow Lion familiar's fur.

"What is the plan today? Do you want to do some shopping? or Perhaps some sight seeing? or Eating?" She asked, giving him enough possibilities on which he could decide.
