Of the three crafts he were in need of doing, Macradon only succeeded on two of them, not enough to satisfy all his customers at the same time, which was a shame. He would press on and get his end of the stuff done in time, at least he hoped it would be in time. He had just taken a few days off because of the heavy workload, but it seemed that he was not going to get another break any time soon. Even though his first few crafts were doing great, Macradon would slowly spiral down into the crafting spree of failures. It was probably just a coincidence that his second failure spree had been with a rapier again, it was like the rapier was so specific that he had difficulty getting the balance right. The rapier brought him more trouble than he had anticipated. He had made rapiers before, and it wasn’t because he hadn’t gotten enough experience working with rapiers, he was well versed in all of the item classifications in his arsenal, and he had been through a lot of crafting to reach the point of Grandmaster that he had reached. Macradon had continued to go crafting on the items. Somehow, it went a bit too easy to create the shields, even though they were quite … different. He had heard about this quest that would grant him a boon when crafting, which he could really use. After the hotfix that ruined his perfect mallet, Macradon had recessed to using a regular mallet, not the one Teion made for him when he wasn’t high enough Blacksmith to craft for himself. With what he had now, he was nearly set for fortune, but because he needed a bit more prowess, Macradon should probably go and take that quest. Macradon had a lot more to do now, the request just kept coming, on and on and on. So many different kinds of items, not just a couple different swords, but the size difference, the curvature, the length. So many different variables in this process of creating so much. It wasn’t too tiresome as it used to be, Macradon had gotten the hang of most of the stuff, and he could easily churn out piles upon piles of equipment, it was just not that easy to get perfect items all the time.
