"Geez... It sure is cold here." Comet said, shivering and hugging himself as the mist grew heavier and heavier and so did his eyelids. He taken a few detours as he came here but he didn't realize how much time that took. It was the evening and he needed to find the witch before night time... Or he might be in trouble as he would be against a very, very over-powered witch. Sure, it was interesting for him and his sense of adventure wanted to see what the stronger witch was like but he needed to get this over with as soon as possible. It was still early in the evening and there would be plenty of time for him to search through the land of green pastures. "Why do I have a feeling that I'm being watched?" Comet asked, sulking in fright and looking around to see if he could maybe spot something that was stalking him but to no victory was his attempt.

Of course, it was never a good sign when a shopkeeper runs out of materials and if it was a human-run shop, then Comet would've been outta there in a few seconds. However, he knew that this was programmed to happen even though he had no idea that so much comedy would be placed into the game for this quest. Just the man's presence and personality was enough to make someone laugh and Comet had to try very hard to not burst out laughing at the foolish and rash personality of the tough old shopkeeper. As Griswold freaked out in the back of the room, the old wife that he possesses turned to Comet and began to speak.

"Young one... We would love to craft for you but it seems as if our stock has suddenly magically run out. Too bad that my husband is too old to venture out and get materials. Please help us young one... And we will craft for you." Hanna said, gently pulling hand motions that matched perfectly with her tone and voice.

Soon enough, a pop-up screen appeared in front of Comet that said "ACCEPT QUEST?" and of course, this was what Comet had been waiting for. He had been waiting for this screen and now, he confidently pressed hard on the check box which stated that he was prepared for adventure and prepared to defeat the witch that he knew awaited him from rumors.

"Ah... Let me inform you on where to go, young sir. In this land, there is a mysterious, dark place by the name of Forest of Wavering Mists where screams could be heard and ghosts could be seen. Within that forest, there is a nameless witch with a pretty face that turns into one of monstrosity when angered. Through the day, she is asleep and at night, she ventures out for prey. You must catch her while she is asleep for she is weak during that time. Kill her and bring back the <<Witch's Tears>> drop that will be necessary for me to craft your armor with. Now, brave one, be safe and head out for I must calm Griswold of his angers." The lady described with utmost descriptions that amazes even Comet. I didn't understand most of that... But this sounds like fun! He thought and without another word, he has set out. "Bye! Don't worry! I'll be back soon."

"Uhm. I am looking for a new armor that you guys are offering to newer players." Comet said, looking down at his armor, realizing that it wouldn't be good if they noticed that he was wearing good armor. The old lady seemed not to have noticed the fact that Comet had a perfect armor on... Or maybe she just didn't care. It was most likely the first option as the woman was definitely someone that had a kind mood and aura surrounding her. She seems really, really nice. Comet thought and around her, Comet couldn't help but smile. However, that was when an intimidating man began to speak. His name was Griswold, the master tailor of the world of Aincrad. Perhaps one of the best tailors around, even in comparison to the player tailors. It was a shame that the game doesn't really let players come here for their armor goods.

"Young sir, we must require that you tell us exactly what you need from us so we can craft for you. What armor type do you seek?" The intimidating Griswold replied to Comet's comment.

Comet had not prepared an answer as honestly he didn't even care. The armor would probably be donated to a new player when he does get one because there was no point for him to have it with him. He was fine with any armor and his purpose here was soley to obtain that special skill point bonus that he so needed in order to catch up to the other players that were way ahead of him.

"I guess leather armor would be good if you can craft them." Comet replied and immediately, he was responded with a heavy laugh from Griswold as his old wife looked at him adoringly.

"Who do you think we are? We can craft anything! With that, the man walked into the back of the shop." After a few seconds, however, Comet could hear a loud gulp from the back. "Gah- We're out of materials!!!!!!!"

It was an early day. The birds were singing their finest songs and the roses were dancing and opening their petals. The sky was bright and the trees swaying to the movement of the wind. But who is that? Who is that running down the streets of the third floor in a early morning. A little boy with a bowl hair cut? Ah, indeed... He seems like a boy on a mission... A lad with potential running with fierce determination. You don't see one of these lately. His mind and heart seemed set to finish what he had set out to do... But what had he set out to do? In the midst of the vast land, what was his goal? Does he want to be strong... Or does he want to help the front liners escape this imprisoned, cursed land? Who will know... But in the end, he shall reach his goal or he shall die trying.

Comet sneezed. It seemed like someone was talking about him in the background. However, a sneeze was not going to stop him from getting this quest completed as quickly as possible. Comet had heard that an NPC crafter was crafting for newer players and is even giving out a quest with the reward being armor and skill points. As someone that desprately needed these precious skill points, Comet was not going to refuse such an offer. With a smile, he forcefully pushed the door to the shop open and saw the shop owners. "Good morning boy... What is it that you seek?" The old man said with a friendly smile in greetings.

Comet took a deep breath. Naturally, in all video games, one's chance of succeeding two times in a row is lowered even though it is completely random. Of course, this is due to the psychology of the mind but Comet had doubt that he might be unable to strike the next balloon in an attempt to get the next pink Kitsune mask for Aikoh. Whew... Let's see. Comet thought, aiming as best as he could before firing. The dart was not perfect but it managed to skim the side of a pink balloon, causing it to pop and with a smile, Comet hopped up and down as the game booth manager brought over a pink mask and handed it to him with a sigh. "Why the sigh, mister?" Comet asked with a huge grin, still happy of his good luck. "Well, young boy, it's nothing... But the people here seem to be very, very lucky. My prizes are being taken off the shelf one by one and it seems like no one finds this game fun." The shop owner said as he petted Comet. "No! This game is super fun. If I didn't have to get a few prizes for a friend, I'll be shooting balloons all day! Wait for me, shop owner... I have a mission to run."

With that, the grinning Comet turned away from the shop owner and gave him a large smile as he waved and walked away. Soon, after walking for a while through the gigantic crowds of the festival, Comet saw a beautiful woman sitting under a pink blossom tree that was enough to make even Comet blush. Of course, the brave soldier would walk up to the beautiful maiden and watch what she is doing. Soon, Comet was noticed by the NPC. "Hello boy. Is there anything I can help you with?" With a grin, Comet looked up. "Geez, those pins really look nice... I bet one of my friends would appreciate one of these." And with a chuckle, the NPC began to speak once more. "Oh, is that so? Well, pick one of these cherry blossoms... I'll be able to make one for this friend of yours." Soon, after a wink, the lady managed to finish the pin in no time and after that, Comet walked away and looked at his inventory. What am I missing? Hm... All festivals... Fireworks!

"Gah! I'm super late!" Comet shouted as he ran across the floor. Indeed, he had no intentions to explore this mysterious floor of the eleven because he would definitely be killed by the super strong mobs out there that might try to kill him when he gets out there. Instead, he was here only for one reason and that was to play many, many different games so he could get a lot of prices and have lots and lots of fun. Of course, Comet would have to be very lucky but he is, indeed, a very lucky man, so there should be no worries regarding him being frustrated with failure to obtain any of the wanted prices. I'll even grab up a things for Aikoh as well. I bet she's so busy running that shop of hers that she can't even get here. No worries, I bet she'll be really happy when I bring her a pink mask and a cherry pin as well. Comet thought with a cheerful grin as he went inside the festival where there were many people of the older generation that were having much fun. Indeed, it seems like it was a party of lovers and it was a brilliant sight. However, Comet must not be distracted and instead, he would go to the closest game booth and pick up the gun in which he was supposed to use to shoot at balloons. Alrighty! Comet thought in excitement. Let's see how I do. And hence, Comet took aim. Let me get a green one first... And then a pink one for Aikoh!

BOOM, HEADSHOT! Was the sound that came out when he managed to strike the balloon right in the center, causing it to burst in millions of pieces like a boar would when it was defeated. Comet had been quite lucky since coming into this game and since he began to plan to get stronger. The first ten floors and a few more floors have been cleared.... he needed this luck in order to surpass the others and become a front liner so that he could protect Aikoh and those that he cares about. With a smile, he accepted the blue Kitsune mask and prepared to play the game once more in an effort to get Aikoh one as well.

Once more, Comet would be attacked by the boar. This time, however, just as the boar was about to touch him, the game seemed to have automatically placed him into a different position, causing the boar to somehow miss and providing Comet to strike it down. With a smile, he was able to finish off the boar, defeating it and kill it off. Good stuff. Comet thought, turning around and heading back into town with his back straight to look cooler and taller.

Soon, Comet was able to reach the outskirts of the area and of course, there was a boar conveniently chilling along and as soon as Comet came here, it decided that it would jump out from the bushes that it was hiding in and attack. Of course, Comet was prepared. Somehow, he was able to dodge it... And only barely. Just as the jumping boar passed him, he struck with his own sword and skimmed the skin of the boar, dealing damage to it.

Comet sighed in disappointment as he went about and prepared his sword. He had expected to defeat the mob within a few seconds yet this one was taking him a few minutes to defeat. This time, Comet would allow the boar to attack him first. Its red eyes grew of anger and it challenged Comet with a stare right upon him, as if allowing Comet to make the first move. However, Comet would not budge. Soon, the boar charged and Comet dodged its simple attack, landed his own counter-attack and watched as it burst into millions and millions of pieces. Shweet. Comet thought with a wide grin.

Comet sighed and prepared to strike once more. He knew that he had no energy but at his current level, killing one boar by himself without the use of sword arts should be as easy as pie. Indeed, Comet was confident that he would be able to kill the boar in quick time and then maybe even fight another boar so he could get some Col and possibly some materials as well. With a strike, he was able to damage the boar once more with the basic strike and deal a bit of damage to it. Geez... I need to get my damage higher. Comet thought and backed up quickly to evade the attack from the boar.

Unfortunately, despite the fact that Comet had gotten a bunch of Col and materials from that passage of game time, he had lost every single drop of energy that he had just regenerated. With a sigh, Comet walked along the road when another Nepent walked in front of him. Indeed, Comet had no method of dealing with it. He had no energy which only meant one thing... He needed to do this the old fashioned way of using no sword arts and killing it... It should be easy.... Just the time would be long. With his first attempt, Comet dealt damage to the Nepent.

This time, instead of only one boar coming from the sky, three appeared at once and at first, Comet was scared to engage them in battle but it ended up being that Comet had no decision over this matter. The nepents charged forward with their own desire for blood and Comet hurriedly looked at his sword arts to see if there were anything that could help him kill these filthy nepents. Accidentally, he used a powerful AoE attack which ended up resulting in him killing off the nepents all at once and getting a bunch of loot from all three of them as well.

"Erm, well, I entered the game with a girl called Aikoh. She's my childhood friend and she's really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really nice. But, I tried to find her and well, I still haven't found her but I'm sure that she is still alive! We are very close so I can feel these types of things." Comet said, looking down and even though he might not sound like it, he was very worried about Aikoh. The girl was a rich person who belonged to a rich family and surely, she wouldn't be used to the situation here. Also, there were so many different ways that one can die in this game and Comet did not appreciate the fact that so much danger lurks in this game. "I'm sure I'll be able to find her soon enough though.... Uhm, maybe you can keep an eye out for her? She's pretty and shorter than me." Comet finished with a huge grin directed at Helios. It was then that Comet grew bored of just sitting there doing nothing. He was an active little kid that needed to keep moving all the time and this was why he likes to go around different places and explore everywhere that he can possibly explore. Hence, he was feeling the urge to exercise once more and fly like he always did... Or at least imagine himself flying. Comet's goal and dream in life was to fly high into the air and never come down. He'll probably take Aikoh with him too if he does that. For now, he needs more training so he's been going to the tallest places that he could possibly go to and looking down from there to imagine himself flying. Right now, a table would have to do. With a smile and no hesitation, Comet jumped onto the table with a gigantic grin.

And hence, Comet would wait just like he had the previous few minutes. He must wait on in order to save up on the energy that he gravely needed in order to strike down the mobs that he was going to challenge for both materials and Col. After the day was over, he was sure to obtain a lot of different skill points and get all the loot that he could possibly get. In fact, after today was over, tomorrow, he was going to get even more loot and even more loot until he became the strongest player in Aincrad and he was sure to do that. There was no one that is going to challenge him for this position of the strongest player ever!

Comet smirked. He was going to let his energy regain a bit. Indeed, there was no rush for him to finish up this quest quickly. Of course, he had been more lucky than he imagined himself to be and because of that, he was able to get the rare drop from the first variant that he had killed and at this point, all he was doing is to slowly grind out as the day ends. With the Col that he currently has from the grinding that he had done, he should be able to get a good place to sleep and settle for the night... Not that it was time to settle for the night anyway. It was far from night time and Comet planned to go on the whole time in an attempt to get the most out of this free time after completing a quest.

Comet was confident that this strike was a definite hit. Comet had not missed a single time ever since he had obtained this super awesome OP charm and he loved it. Of course, he had not exactly done much with the charm so far into the game of his active period, he was still confident that the wasp would be the same as trying to hit a boar. With a grin, Comet jumped into the sky after shouting, "Yes, ma'am!" Just before Comet moved his arm to strike, he became on par with the wasp and with a smooth movement, he was able to deal two quick hits on the wasp with his new sword art and deal 10 damage to the mob. Of course, 10 damage was quite a bit for a player as low leveled as he and he took pride that he was able to deal damage at all. With a proud grin, he returned to his starting place and awaited for his next battle turn where he would definitely deal damage again.

"Gah! It's so fast!" Comet exclaimed loudly as he watched the boss approach the two players. However, he had one more equipment that he had forgotten to equip and he honestly needed to equip that in order to ensure his chances of hitting the boss. It was more worth it for him to equip the charm to help his accuracy and miss this turn than to not equip it and probably miss against such a fast mob such as the wind wasp itself. Comet sighed and opened up his menu once again. After this, I'll inflict some huge damage on the mob! Comet thought with confidence as he equipped the charm. "Sorry Lancey, next time I'll definitely remember to wear my equipment BEFORE the actual fight. Thanks for bearing with me here..." Comet said with a grateful grin as he watched the charm being equipped. Sure, it had wasted a precious early turn. Still, he now had a better chance of defeating the boss quicker and maybe even get some loot from it. "Alrighty... Let's get this thing done and over quickly. I wanna see if I can ride one of these wasps later." Comet said with a straight face, implying that he was fully serious.

With a smile, Comet held up his sword and that was when he realized that he had gear in his inventory which he ordered a few days ago. But, because of the fact that he had been distracted by a butterfly which happened to pass through him, he had forgotten that he had a full set of perfect gear still waiting in his inventory to be equipped. With a nervous chuckle, he could hear that the Queen was nearby and he needed to equip the armor with absolute haste to prevent the Queen from reaching them before he could equip them. "Gah! I forgot I had armor and a charm in my inventory! W-Wait up... Don't attack it yet. Wait for me to put them on!" Comet shouted in panic as he opened his menu and after making a few little clicking mistakes, he finally managed to equip the light armor that he had which provided him with evasion. "Wait... Wait up... I have one more thing to equip."

Comet looked around curiously at the surroundings to see whether there was something that he could take with him and claim to be his own. Of course, he was unable to find anything that was worthwhile in which he could take as his own. His luck was only half decent and luck wasn't something that could really be measured. Comet smiled when the older woman offered him a place to sit next to her and with a cheerful jump, he sat next to the woman and leaned his back against the tree trunk that was behind him at the moment. "Yup! Let's get this thing done and over with after we get some energy back!" Comet said cheerfully as he began to play with the grass that was besides him. Comet had always hated waiting but he was well aware that in order to become a good player, he must rely on patience and master the art of the dagger to improve his skills and stats.

Comet sighed. He knew that his energy had become very low and he didn't like it at all. However, this is just one of the few basic concepts of the game and no matter how one hates it, it must remain a thing in order to prevent players from overpowering the mobs. Indeed, Comet was well aware that his energy was low at the moment and would only increase as he became higher leveled and higher leveled. Comet, of course, loved high places. Since a child, he had wanted to fly and the only way to do that was through airplanes but that was not what Comet wanted. He wanted a way for himself to fly without the help of others. This is why he loves high places so much... So he could admire the sky and the sea of clouds that is overhead. With a smile, Comet hopped over to a very large hill and climbed upon it so he could look down onto the first floor and admire the scenery on the ground. Plus, he was able to find an apple laying on the ground once he got there so that was a good, lucky find.

Somehow though, through Comet's quick reflexes, he was able to strike faster than the Nepent with instincts and cut it down to less than zero. That was close... Comet thought, looking to see maybe he would get loot but all he was able to obtain was one material and nothing else. Not even Col?! Comet thought, disappointed that his Col pool had not increased as a result of the victory. Alright then game... Comet thought as he looked around once more.

Comet looked around to hopefully find another easy Nepent that he could kill for some easy materials and Col. Indeed, he was going to gather as much of these as possible for when he needs it in the future. There was definitely a chance that they would come in handy eventually hen he needs to order potions and food. Right now, he could just go about and take cookies from Aikoh when he needs the food. However eventually, he would have to order these when Aikoh and him become better and better players and workers. Comet sighed as he saw a Nepent in the distance. I would have to kill a lot of these later. Comet thought, charging forward and stabbing the Nepent before retreating in order to prevent the mob from hitting him. This is just a slow process... I can become stronger and stronger... Even stronger than the bigger players! Bbbbbuuutttt... Riding these mobs aren't too bad either. Comet thought, grinning and scratching his head at the same time.
